My wife and I have lived here since November 2015. It would be impossible to list all that goes on here. A monthly activity calendar is provided, and you can choose what you want to do. Meals are provided (order off a menu). The staff and all employees are the friendliest and most helpful people you will ever meet. Once you move in, you never want to leave.

This is a great place to live. I've lived here since October 1, 2015. I have made many friends and enjoy living here.

Everyone is courteous, friendly, and helpful.

This is a beautiful facility, and a comforting place for a loved one to live. The staff and caregivers are not only very friendly and helpful, but go that extra mile for any needs or concerns you might have. I appreciate the Round Table Meetings as another way to express any concerns. Thanks to all for a warm family atmosphere, and a job being well done.

Exercise is good. Good programs, including bingo. Residents are very nice. Staff is special, food is special, caregivers are good. Building is beautiful and maintenance is very good.

I have lived in this senior community since Oct 14th. The entire staff is friendly, caring, and well-qualified. There are many activities to keep residents engaged, interested, and happy. This facility is first rate - wonderful!

My mother's move into Elmcroft has been good. So far we are very happy. The community looks nice and is well maintained with good housekeeping. Staff is great and helpful with anything you ask of them, and very kind. They offer really good activities here like field trips, Zoomba, and arts and craft projects. It is really nice to see her participating. She really enjoys the food, and seems to be really adjusting well. I would recommend this community to family and friends.

Winterberry is all it appears to be. Very modern, clean and light-filled. The staff is very kind and warm with everyone. I would recommend it for anyone.

I contacted "A Place For Mom" in need of a place for my dad in a hurry and they were extremely helpful in helping me do just that." A Place For Mom" called around and set up tours for our family and checked back on our progress and he was placed in one the next day. I was very grateful for the help in our time of need and I would refer them to anyone in my place. Thank u A Place For Mom.

My father has been at Elmcroft for one week now. The staff is absolutely amazing! This is a very difficult transition for dad but, the staff has been so kind and understanding. The facility looks smells clean every time I visit. I am always greeted with a sincere smile and "hello" by all the staff when I visit.

I had nothing but fear and intimidation going into this. Since Mom has been at Brookdale Park Place I truly feel that I have my Mom back! Se is now able to enjoy life and gets to participate in the many activities that she enjoys doing like crafting and gardening! When you walk into Brookdale it always smells good and the staff have been off the chart! They are truly amazing! I stayed the first week with Mom and the food is very very good! I seriously have a weight lifted and I am truly thankful!

Elmcroft knows what they are talking about! After touring several communities with "Memory care" Elmcroft was the only ones that discussed what was most important to me in finding the right place for my mother. They were very specific with her needs and made me feel so comfortable about a very uncomfortable situation. Once we moved in the staff welcomed mom and helped her adapt to the environment by giving her an ambassador to show her around. Each manager made an effort to visit with her and because we filled out a history and profile, they acted like they have known her for years. So far it exceeds my expectations and I am so glad I came here! I say hands down Elmcroft is the only true memory care downriver!

I toured this community while looking into care options for a loved one. Elmcroft was a very nice looking place, it was well kept and clean, and all of the staff I met seemed friendly and professional. However, it was also one of the more expensive places we looked at, and out of the price range we were looking in. We ended up selecting another community, but this is somewhere I would have considered as an option for my loved one.

This is by far the best decision we made for Mom. Since the moment she's moved to Elmcroft she's gained strength and really enjoying herself. The staff have been great from the admin to the caregivers to everyone in between have been absolutely wonderful to Mom and treat her like a queen. The food is good and they have plenty of things to keep the residents busy. They're even working on getting a bridge club together just for Mom. We are very happy with the place and couldn't be more thankful!

I cannot say enough nice things about this facility. My Mom has lived here about a year and is really happy. The people are friendly, the food is good and the staff is stellar. She enjoys the activities and has made some good friends. She got to keep her car and is encouraged to be as independent as she can be. But if she needs extra help at all it's available. The residents here are more alert and active than most facilities I visited in my search. I highly recommend the Gables for anyone looking.

After having my mother in law stay with us for well over 25 years we finally made the decision to move her into Brookdale and I couldn't be happier with the decision. It definitely gives me a peace of mind knowing that she is in great hands and getting the care that she needs while still maintaining some of her independence. The staff are very nice and helpful and it helps that they are used to dealing with these situations. Since moving in she has not given them any problems taking her medications which is surprising since it was always a struggle with me. I am very happy to have found this place and couldn't be happier to have gotten help from A Place For Mom. They were delightful and it's always nice to know someone other than family is in your corner. This has been a great experience all the way around.

Our experience with Elmcroft of Arlington has been a positive one. It is a tough situation for our loved one and our family, but Elmcroft is a nice place and the staff do an excellent job looking after the residents.
