They have really good activities - Bingo, movies, and card games. We have lived here 1.5 years. The staff are very helpful.

My mother in law was in the memory care unit. I would recommend this facility! They carefully evaluated my mother In Law and placed her in the correct unit. The unit supervisor and medical staff were well informed about her needs medically and personally before we even moved her in. Her roommate match was excellent. And communication with the family was important to the staff.

The caring staff makes this a great community. Wendy took her time with the family and answered all of our questions and gave advice to assist with the transition of our loved one in to the community. The staff were supportive of our loved one and worked well with hospice. My loved one passed during their time at the community, and the staff have been supportive of the family even after this fact.

My Aunt could not be more happy with the staff and food. She tells me that she can understand why people want to live here. “The staff is so friendly and the food is so good.” She is also impressed with the variety of activities they offer.

The people there are great- meaning the CNA's they are very helpful and friendly. We really like the location of the community and the access - that is great. We do think the value is affordable and we would recommend The Gardens of Virginia Beach to other families based on our experience

This is a very caring community The staff know all the residents by name and visitors who are visiting family members. They truly seem to care about the residents. There are three meals a day served to the residents and they have choices to choose from. Ice cream socials, exercise group, singing, entertainment, religious services, and more are some of the activities available for the residents to engage with.

The Gardens is wonderful! The staff is very good with the residents. They do a lot for them and make sure they're clean and well cared for. They have a lot of nice activities. Lots of game times. Twice a week they go on excursions. They always have entertainment (musicians, etc.) at least three times a week. They allow small cats and dogs. The other residents are all nice. It has been a very nice experience. I don't have a single bad thing to say about it. My mom, who I thought would have trouble setting in, has adapted very well and very quickly!

In addition to having a caring staff they have a full time activity director,. He keeps the residents busy with movement activities as well as word games and other activities. The building is fairly new also

It was a good facility overall. Just make sure that you stay on top of your loved one's care to make sure they're getting the proper care. When our family came to the staff with concerns, they did respond appropriately but not above and beyond.

I thought the tour was excellent. The facility was very clean. It was just an older facility in need of refinishing. And I didn't like that they kept the residents in one rom all day long, although they did separate them into two groups. But it was also the same room they ate breakfast/lunch/dinner in - they just moved the chairs around.

They make it a very easy transition. My family member told me it feels like home after just the first week there. The care she's receiving is great. They're doing an outstanding job.

This was a nice community. This community was a little further family than we wanted.

Very compassionate staff. My mother broke her hip during her first stay at Walnut Creek. Went to rehab for nine weeks and we have chosen to go back to Walnut Creek rather than stay in the current facility. Primary reasons are engagement in activities, smaller facility, more consistent staff and cost.

Very nice place. I looked at 6 facilities and this was my first choice. It just didn't work out with moving my dad from another state.

My loved one's care is being met and we are pleased that the medical needs are consistent for my loved one. The staff are wonderful to work with. There is bingo almost everyday for the residents, along with other activities for them to participate in. The meals are served three times a day to the residents, and they are able to meet dietary restrictions when needed.

I attended a luncheon at Amber Glen and was able to tour the facility as well. Lunch was absolutely DELICIOUS and prepared by the in-house chef, so those are some lucky residents!! The facility itself was very well organized, very cozy feeling, and I was very impressed with the dedication of the staff to create meaningful moments with residents. I absolutely loved the idea of the 'About Me' boards outside each resident's room!

Sugar Creek is full of caring staff and life enriching activities. Staff is well trained on how to communicate and care for residents - which is important in memory care!

The interaction with the staff has been good. The food is good sometimes, and sometimes it's not. We picked this community because of the location. It's a great middle of the road facility. It's perfect for someone who is not too fancy.

We had a great tour experience with Muncie Estates. The staff were all super outgoing and it was very clean and well maintained. For my mom, she did not see as many residents out and about and she was really looking for a place where she could have a lot of social interaction. It may just have been the time that we were visiting. Otherwise this looked like a very nice facility and we have nothing negative to say about the whole experience.

We love the setting and the location that Myrtle Beach Grove Senior Living sits in - it is off the main road and off into a wooded area. It is really cute and smaller in size so the community is not to large or crowded. We have no issues whatsoever, no complaints at all. Our loved one absolutely loves the meals and dining service she says it is just great and that the people there are very friendly.
