Assigned parking for residents, if they have a car. Cleaning service once a week for apt., Laundry facilities...you can do your own or pay for service. Every now and then vendors come in to sell things. Overall a great place to live. My mother is very happy there. Only complaint, come to think of it, is it is a bit costly.

It’s a smaller facility, and each staff member truly knows every resident’s name and story—it’s impressive. We toured several facilities in the area, and Magnolia stood out for offering the best balance of multiple levels of care along with meaningful socialization opportunities for residents.

It was great to have such a wonderful resource available when we needed it. With their assistance, mom progressed from assisted living to independent apartment living , and now plans to return to her home soon. She said that she would definitely return to South Grove Lodge should she need assistance in the future.

I would rate this facility at a 5+. most facilities do not allow the disabled partner to live in. This one does. We have a two bedroom over 1000 ft.² apartment we have full kitchen facilities except no dishwasher. We have house cleaning and laundry for service is provided and 24 hour a day, nurse or helper assistance they can take care of all of [name removed] needs although I do many of them because I'm here. Their responses are prompt and courteous. The staff is good humored and pleasant to deal with the food is first class for a facility of this nature. It is buried with the heavy meal being the new meal and it is almost always quite tasty and certainly meets all nutritional requirements. That's about it. I can't think of anything bad to say although it's a bit on the pricey side I suspect the price range is not remotely abnormal.

When it comes to the meals and dining and the activities. we are unsure because our loved one has not said anything. However, based on the calendar we have seen, the activities would get a 5. What we like the most about the community from my prospective are the facilities. They are nice, clean and welcoming.

Wonderful tour that gave my brother peace of mind that our mom would be happy, safe, and comfortable. Also loved the opportunities for a wide variety of available activities. We spoke with one of the residents who was very happy living there and was hoping he and mom would become friends

My brother and Dad attended a tour of Gardens of Virginia Beach on [removed date]. They shared the experience with me. [removed name] showed the facility and the resident rooms. The rooms were spacious and clean. The veteran discount of [removed rate]is very appreciated. There seemed to many amenities and the atmosphere of the GVB was happy and bright. Overall, it was a good experience and the room rental cost is within our price point.

I love this facility. It feels like home. Music is playing all the time. The residents are very involved and truly happy. Many changes have been made at this community. Beautiful changes and Beautiful people taking care of the residents. Best care in the region!!

After my children and I visited 6 different memory care facility, we chose Cedar Ridge Alzheimer's Special Care Center to place my husband. I did not want him sitting around watching television or doing nothing all day. Cedar Ridge had lots of activities and exercises to keep him busy. The staff is great—they answer all my concerns as they happen. They keep me informed. Many of the caregivers treated the residents like family…they are genuinely caring, attentive, and clearly trained to work with residents who have memory needs. They treat residents with respect and compassion, which makes a big difference for our family. The facility itself is clean and well maintained, and the food is good and consistently prepared. It feels like a safe and comfortable environment. Overall, Cedar Ridge Alzheimer's Special Care Center provides quality care and peace of mind, and I would recommend it to families looking for a clean, caring memory care environment.

My overall experience at Magnolia Springs has been very positive. From the day I moved in the friendliness and positive relationship have been so heartwarming. Add the warmth and kindness of the staff and caregivers and you realize that this is the place to be senior living. There are always activities to suit a variety of tastes and a variety of area in which to attend. The entire building is always clean and cheerful. The meals are prepared for varying paletes so you can always find food to enjoy. This is just the great place to be.

When I visit mom, I hear things like, “I feel like I’m part of a big family.” “Everyone’s so nice here.” What could be better? We feel like the decision to bring mom to Cedar Ridge Alzheimer’s Care Center was the right decision. She’s happy, busy, and well-cared for. Everyone gathers together for activities, events and meals. This isn’t a place where residents stay in their rooms. And the care-givers are so kind. We’re grateful our friends recommended this place to us.

Recently getting our sister moved to Stoney Ridge and we really enjoy the facility so far. [name removed] has been amazing with everything, helping us with set up and answering all of our questions in a very quick manner. She is very friendly and very thorough and has gone above and beyond.

My mother was a resident at this facility My family and I were very pleased with it. The staff was wonderful. The aides were great. My mom was on the independent side and was very happy there. [removed name]the nurse practitioner and her staff were great. They checked on my mom frequently . My mom loved it there. She has since passed after we moved her down to North Carolina recently, but we will always be grateful to the people at leisure park. They made my mom’s end of life a joyful one. She enjoyed going to the music events weekly and the birthday dinners. Thank so much for making my moms end feel special.

My dad has been living at [removed date], now called the Terraces at Lakewood, since [removed date]. He was in independent living for 8 months but moved over to the memory care unit [removed date]. Do I wish he could be home? Of course I do but since he can’t where he is a perfect choice. Everyone is kind, helpful, make it a point to get to know you! It’s a safe environment with lots of activities to help keep his mind as fresh as it can be. I can’t recommend it enough!

I will be a resident for 2 years next month. The location is perfect for me. The staff is kind and responsive. The grounds, buildings and apartments are clean and well maintained. So grateful to be here.

My family toured Bedford Estates for my grandmother and as soon as we got there, we saw this fun exercise class with all the residents, laughing and smiling. I could see her definitely fitting in! [name removed] was amazing and extremely knowledgeable and staff also educated us on what to expect as a resident and family member living there. The apartments are huge for the money too.

If you are looking at Assisted Living options in the Willamette Valley area, I highly recommend Stoneybrook Assisted Living. My dad lived there for several years and enjoyed an excellent quality of life, largely thanks to being part of the Stoneybrook community. The staff are skilled, professional, attentive and compassionate. Communication with the family was outstanding. My Dad needed more care at different times as his health conditions progressed, and Stoneybrook worked very well with many Home Health nurses and PT/OT, Palliative care and eventually with Hospice. Exactly what he needed.

This is a beautiful senior living community with caregivers, management, and overall staff who actually treat residents like family. The food is delicious and the activities are so much fun. The memory care area actually keeps residents busy and not just sitting around. I highly recommend this facility if you’re looking for assisted living or memory care for anyone you know.
