Serene Gardens

This is a newer community. Bella Vita bills the pharmacy for my loved one's medications, and then the pharmacy bills me. The community caters to each resident's dietary needs and this is wonderful to see. This is a wonderful place. The community and staff follow guidelines and this is fabulous.

Mom had liked how caring and attentive the staff is at Brookdale Battle Creek. The Executive Director is great! Mom has also made a lot of friends.

My family highly recommends Bella Vita,our experience was excellent.Our mother was well cared for by an amazing staff and property owner.They exceeded our expectations with what they provide the residents for the price compared to other facilities we reviewed.But the real story is the Bella Vita employees,they are truly special people.

What we really like about Brookdale Saginaw is the staff, they are awesome! I kept telling them that they are all Angels. The meals, the activities, the community and keeping things clean are other things we like. Based on our experience so far we would recommend Brookdale Saginaw to other families looking for a place for their loved ones.

The staff are very helpful and friendly, they keep us informed regarding any changes or issues with my loved one's care. My loved one speaks highly of the food. I would recommend this facility to family and friends, they seem to really care about the residents.

We chose Brookdale Midland because the staff that worked there all had nursing experience. They are all very knowledgeable and know things about my dad and what his likes and dislikes are.

They have taken very good care of my mother, she is end stage dementia and arrived in very bad shape from the previous facility. Her CNA [name removed]at Serene Gardens should get a medal! A raise for sure, she immediately assessed my mother when she got there and said she would do everything in her power to get my mother's skin infections and sores under control and she looked me straight in the eyes and promised she would and that she would be cared for properly at Serene. So far she has! The rest of the staff that helps care for my mother are also amazing. The food is not the greatest but not the worst either. Reminds me of school cafeteria food. A lot of seniors don't have much of an appetite to begin with, so nutrition needs to be appealing.

My Mother has lived at Pineview for close to 2 years, and it has been absolutely wonderful for her! The staff truly feel like family, and they do so much more than care for the residents. The people that live there are rarely alone in their rooms, instead they gather together in the main living rooms for crafts, movies, puzzles and music therapy. The facility is immaculate, and the food would rival that of most local restaurants. We couldn't have dreamed of a more perfect place for our Mom. The best part is she really does refer to it as "home", which is such a comfort to us!

The staff is all very friendly it is very clean. Whenever we call for assistance you always have to leave a message and usually do not get a returned call until after 3 or 4 calls. Overall it's a great place

We had a great tour experience with Serene Gardens of Sterling Heights. The facility was beautiful, the rooms were clean and very nice. The downfall was how large the facility was. It might be good for someone in assisted living, but for someone with dementia who would get lost easily, I do not think it would be a good fit. The price was decent comparatively.

I have loved my time so far at GH. I have my room, my kids did such a great job accommodating. The staff is friendly and I have met some great people

Grandhaven has a special place in my heart. I always sent my clients/families here because I have had a great experience in the past.

I moved across the state to be close to family so my transition was hard, but my caregivers make me smile and I have fun doing the activities.

I experienced your facility for a family fall event. Was so impressed with the staff for their kindness to the residents and families. Also, the grounds and buildings are beautiful inside and outside. Was so impressed with everything. Also the executive director was very informative and kind.

Our family was faced with having to make an emergency placement of our father & mother in April of this year. We live 2,500 miles away so do not have any local connections or people who could have helped us find a great place. We are so blessed that The Cottage of Davison was able to take both parents and keep them together. The staff treated them with love and respect and made sure that every need was taken care of. Everyone from the cooks to the facility manager treated my parents like they were their own. The facility was always clean and orderly and the staff was always engaged with the residents whether it was doing crafts or helping with exercise. They always made themselves available when ever we were able to visit. Everything was great with Brookdale Saginaw. They could not have been more helpful during the whole transition period. They were very friendly and understanding. She was in memory care and it looked to me like they really tried to engage residents both socially and activities wise. For example they sent a picture of her working in the garden. Not being isolated is very important for dementia residents. From a care standpoint they were really on their game. I would absolutely recommend this facility to others.
