Serene Gardens

Excellent service, great staff

It is a very good place and would highly recommend it.

We felt strongly Mom needed a place that would meet her changing needs, we contacted a place for Mom. We toured a few facilities, Serene Garden of Clarkston was the first and best tour we had. All communications have been wonderful, we have had no surprises, all her needs are included in one price. We are so happy to see her thrive in her new bright and happy environment. Prayers have been answered.

I feel that Brookdale Midland was a very good facility and that they helped my mother a lot.

My mother was placed by myself as I fell in love with The Cottage of Davison. The warm colors, murals on the walls, the themes of each room. The staff was very patient with her as she had dementia and struggled to walk at most times. She was getting weaker as time went on, her body was just giving up. I was greated warmly as I was there almost every day at least once. She was there just under a month. And now she is laid at peace with my dad.

Sent my husband to Serene Gardens. The nursing supervisor had him sent to [name removed] as he had been to [name removed] twice. They found a bowel obstruction and aspiration pneumonia which [name removed] missed. He is doing well now with their care. My husband has dementia and he was combative. Not many facilities would take him. He is very happy there and they have his behavior under control also.

Overall pleased w/ care brother is getting. A few issues along the way, but staff ^ admin are very attentive to fixing things. Thank you.

The tour experience was great. Everyone was friendly and [name removed] was very knowledgeable. It is great. I would definitely recommend it.

The workers clearly care for the residents. The facility is clean and doesn't smell "like mothballs" or other steroetypes. I've never eaten the food, but it smells delicious.

Overall great place. Staff attentive and caring. Friendly. Facility is clean and smells fresh.

I've always witnessed caring & patient caregivers. I would send a loved one here for assisted living and be able to rest assured that they are well cared for.

I love everything. Breakfast is the best meal of the day. There are great activities.

Our loved one is very happy at the Serene Gardens of Grand Blanc. What we like the most about the community is the staff members. The staff are very nice, they call our loved one by her name. There are a lot of different activities as well for the residents to get involved in. We would recommend this community to other families looking into the community.

My only "complaints" are we didn't know that Bella Vita was sold until the day it happened. They are understaffed, but they are really trying to make it work. There have been issues with medication being given because it has run out. But, I have been told that they are switching pharmaceutical companies to resolve the issues. Meals were poor during the transition but are great now. I would like to see more activities or day trips or getting involved in the local senior citizen center.

What our family likes the most about the Brookdale Battle Creek community is that we feel that our loved one is in a safe community and is being well cared for by the staff members working there.

What we like the most about The Avalon of Auburn Hills community is the friendly staff and the great care. However, is it kind of pricy though. Based on the experience we have had, we would recommend them to other families.

The staff really care about the residents. When mom got very ill the hospital said the assisted living would not take her back. She had a trach and hospice. The woman in charge said to me: she is family. Bring her here and we'll figure it out. I was so glad I didn't have to find another place. My mom passed away [date removed]. I would highly recommend Angela's House.

This is a newer community. Bella Vita bills the pharmacy for my loved one's medications, and then the pharmacy bills me. The community caters to each resident's dietary needs and this is wonderful to see. This is a wonderful place. The community and staff follow guidelines and this is fabulous.
