Serene Gardens

I wanted to do a shout out to Avalon. My step-mum has been in Assisted Living there for over 18 months and both she and are family are extremely happy. My step Mum has moderate dementia , but is still quite upbeat and independent. She was in another local and pricier AL that was purchased and went drastically down hill. Avalon was our solution. The food is good, she and her apartment are clean and the staff is friendly and responsive- especially since [name removed] became the Director! The activity director [name removed] comes up with extra fun activities and field trip and does a fabulous job getting my Mum involved. Friday entertainment is another big hit! [name removed], the business manager works miracles with her Long Term Care company, assuring that they actually pay out on time each month. And trust me, they can ask us to jump through hoops at times. Just a few reasons and staff that have inspired me to recommend Avalon to friends and write multiple positive reviews.

Brookdale has been a positive experience for both mom and brother. They both have dementia and reside in the 'memory care' portion of this facility. Attention by the staff to each individual's needs is very good. And the staff communicates any items of concern to me as they happen. Meals served are very good with attention to nutritious food.

Clean and spacious, has a beautiful atmosphere. Friendly and caring staff, easy access for any visitor and for any emergency services. This place has the best care for your elderly family. Don’t wait give them a call and schedule for a tour.

My mother's in better physical condition than when she arrived. The staff is very kind anf patien5 with her and have been extremely helpful getting us educated in this new exoerience. The facility is spotless.

Our loved one has now passed away, but Serene Gardens of Sterling Heights were great. They were kind, understanding and everything you would want first you lived ones final days

My aunt is holding her own still. She is on hospice. Serene Gardens is absolutely wonderful. Staff is very helpful and attentive!

What a wonderful place to live. I never knew there was such a nice place to retire. I have a beautiful central air apt with a huge bathroom. I can fit 5 people in my shower!

Every single person who works there has been very helpful and nice. They treat not only my father but everyone with politeness and respect. They are so kind to the residents. There are two room sizes. My dad's room is one of the larger ones, with room for his recliner chair. All the rooms come with built in bathrooms and kitchen areas with microwaves and small refrigerators. This place is also special because they allow pets! My dad's cat lives there with him! It's definitely more like a small apartment than a nursing home! There is a hairdresser that comes in and some ladies who do crafts with the residents. There are also special activities and a calendar of events printed weekly.

One of the most beautiful living communities I have visited (and I visit many). It is kept as clean and fresh as a 5-star hotel - you will notice this from the moment you walk in. What truly sets the Avalon of Auburn Hills apart from other communities is their team! A very special “shout out” to health services director [name removed], and executive director [name removed] for assembling and maintaining such a special team.

[name removed] is a blessing. She has great work ethics, most friendly and supportive. The Avalon of Auburn Hills has an exclusive MVP on their roster. I brought in my uncle for care and he felt he was with family. I appreciate [name removed] assistance.

I am a memory care caregiver at the Avalon of Auburn Hills. The residents and staff are very close in this building, making every experience a family one. I love working here and the relationships I have made with staff and residents here are some of the greatest I have had the pleasure of creating. I am very proud to work in such an amazing place, and would highly recommend this facility to anyone looking for a place to call home.

Love the tour, the guide was excellent. Grandhaven is a great place to live.
