Overall I think they do an excellent job at Senior Star at Elmore place! They have a lot to provide the people who live here. The staff are all very friendly, and they have been a huge help throughout the whole process. They have a move-in coordinator at this community who really crosses Ts and dots Is, I really felt like they got us all the info we needed at every stage. They were very accommodating, and really put in a lot of effort to make the move as easy as possible. The facility itself is very nice looking, clean, and well kept, and they've got a huge variety of activities and amenities they provide for the residents. They have an on-site beauty salon, a heated pool. a small but well stocked library, card tables (and plenty of willing players!), and computer rooms. They also bring in a wide variety of both local and national speakers to speak of various subjects. My loved one really seems to be enjoying herself here, and I would certainly recommend them to anyone looking into senior living in the Davenport area!

I was very impressed with this facility and everyone that works there. The food was good. I liked that they still have a room for family to have gatherings, the pricing seemed reasonable, the fact that they have nurses on the facility 24 hours a day not just on call for most of the day.

Things have gone great so far at Woodland Terrace. It's a nice looking place, the people are friendly, and they take great care of the residents.

I think it's just wonderful. It's a clean place, and everyone is very friendly. I am very happy with them. I give them at least a 5 out of 5. I don't have any concerns with them, or things that I think need to be improved, changed or done better. They do a great job.

Friendly, helpful staff & wonderful meals

Everyone seems to treat my mother with respect and she does seem happy even through she wants to go home. But when I have been there she has been awake but it ready to move, I just wish it wasn't so expensive for my Dad - he said it takes everything from him every month she lives there,

We are very pleased with Wexford Place--the staff are warm and friendly, the grounds are beautiful and the apartments are spacious and well-planned. The staff is very professional and everything has been handled quite well.

Toured a long time ago and really liked loved it. Know they could not afford anything but maybe an assisted living studio not the memory care at all. Beautiful facility and gardens and location so convenient. May need to tour again the studio. This would be my first choice if we could afford it. Need to crunch some numbers.

Wexford is a wonderful environment we were impressed with everything and the nursing staff . The only thing that we were lacking was a detailed orientation on how everything works as far a what is provided and what is not provided and how to go about setting up Dr appointments and having our loved one taken to them if we are not available etc. This is a totally new experience for us and did not know to ask. It would be helpful for other people in the same situation. There could also be a little better communication at times over all.

I had toured Wexford before your recommendation. I love it, but cannot afford it. It was everything I wanted but the cost is too much for us to proceed.

We are very pleased with Wexford Place it is a new, clean and the staff is very friendly and helpful ! Our loved one seems to be quite happy there doing activities and going on outings.

What you see is what you get. There are no hidden changes. Everything seems to be up front. They bribed us with cookies - the cookies were that good. There are outside areas for people to enjoy. There is enough parking, mostly.

They have gone above and beyond the call of duty to make my father feel welcomed.

The staff that actually show you around… they really made a big difference for me. They showed us the residents were happy, the activities they were doing, just all around. They have a really good restaurant so we can sit down there and eat with them. They have temporarily limited parking because they’re putting in a memory care unit right now.

They could use a little more variety of activities, they need more activities, geared toward the fellas. The food is excellent, it would be nice to have a hamburger now and then, it's country club style. You don't wear shorts to dinner. I really like this place, I think it couldn't be better for my loved one. They have a pool there, and they have water therapy there. The people that live there are the friendliest, nicest people I ever met, it's one of the reasons we chose them. They are the most awesome people. I have not met anyone I haven't liked.

They’re doing very well. I think it’s a very home place, a great transition for someone moving into assisted living. They take good care of my mom’s basic needs. It is conveniently located near her doctor, in the expanding part of the city. The food excellent and the staff is very caring. .

A wonderful and caring facility. We wish mom could continue to stay there.

They are very friendly. I have absolutely no complaints. She’s just in independent living, so she doesn’t use the care services. It’s a very nice place! I think my aunt’s been very happy. I’d refer people directly to Senior Star.
