The building is very nice, and the views are gorgeous! Being right on the Trail path is a huge benefit. The people were all very nice. I got to have lunch, and it was excellent. Someone took my order, and then served me, so it was a very “dining out” experience, (not like a cafeteria feel at all), with more gorgeous views from the dining room. The pub and reservable lounges and reservable private dining room were all thoughtfully decorated, and quite cozy - you could easily host a celebratory party! The residents all looked happy and alert and friendly.

I would honestly rate each category with a 5. They went above and beyond to welcome mom and make her feel at home, and she had a recent incident that required a short hospitalization and the add on care that we have arranged with DRV has been really outstanding. They really seem to care about the residents - they're not just numbers.

My parents have now both moved in to independent living at Wexford and have had a great experience so far.

Wonderful place! So clean and easy to navigate! Such friendly staff! We had lunch there and the food was freshly made and so delicious served by awesome staff members with a smile!

The staff is unbelievably kind and attentive and loving to my mom. We have been very happy with our choice of placement. I would recommend them to others who are searching for senior living for their loved one.

Very nice facility in a pleasant urban setting. Units are fairly nice size and some offer small balconies. Will be a high choice for the future.

We have picked this place to place Dad there. The staff were awesome. The people we talked to have lived there for several years. They were happy overall and we were really happy with the place and feel like it was a good choice.

We toured this facility and found it to be very nice in almost every way. The management staff was friendly and welcoming. We toured eight facilities and this was in our top three partially because of location.

The People at Wexford are real people who LISTEN to the things that a challenging when looking for a parent a place that is safe for them to live. The time[Name Removed] took with us, is more than we expected and we are greatly appreciative of it. This group knows their clients. We are forever blessed.

What we like the most about the community is that our loved one has found friends and everyone there is friendly. We would recommend Senior Star at Burgundy Place to other families based on our experience so far.

They have very attentive and friendly staff. Mom says she loves her apartment, it's very comfortable and she enjoys having laundry in her apt. She likes the dining choices. They have two entree choices at dinner, but if she doesn't like either of those she can choose from an alternate menu. So she can have shrimp(her favorite) every night. Or there's a 'lite' plate with cottage cheese and egg salad that she enjoys as well. They also have plenty of activities. She's made new friends and is doing well.

Harrison On 5th is a wonderful place to live. There are lots of interesting residents here, the staffing is excellent, the food is absolutely amazing, and the management really cares about keeping this as a welcoming and elegant place to live. I would recommend it to anybody

Staff professional, friendly, and informative. They were also on time and efficient without making me feel rushed or just another tour. The environment is welcoming, and the facility is clean, bright and cozy

Coming to the realization that your parent is approaching the time where it might not be in their best interest or safety or continue to live alone is hard. While our mom was still for the most part, healthy, she had stopped being social and was worrying about the responsibilities of being a home owner. We approached her about moving to a retirement community that would relieve her of the stress and financial worry or maintaining a home and staying home and not being social. A Place for Mom gave us options in our budget and desired location to explore. My brother did an unannounced tour of Burgandy Place and was impressed,very hard to do by the way. So we had mom go. She was impressed as well although apprehensive about such a large change in life. The director of admissions took the time to answer all her questions and help her with her concerns. My mom was impressed that the whole apartment would be painted and re carpeted before she moved in and she also got new appliances. For me a huge plus what the lack of staff turn over. As a former health care worker in the care of the elderly, the turnover can be massive. This speaks to the facility and how it cares for the employees and in turn the employees care for the residents. We are all thankful we found Burgandy Place. Nowhere is perfect even home, but having options like Burgandy Place makes life still seem good.

The staff is awesome, dining is good, have many activities, very clean facilities, apartment size is very adequate, very safe facility.

My dad would recommend this place, but the food is the biggest detractor. My dad really likes it there

Harrison on 5th is a warm and welcoming community that feels like a 5 star resort. Every staff member we met was clearly dedicated to their work and loves their job. Everyone seems so happy to be there and everything about the place is top notch! If my parents don't decide to move in I'll be disappointed!!

The staff was very helpful. Food choices looked wonderful & was very clean. Room size was very nice.
