My mother seems to enjoy living at Burgundy Place. The food, for the most is very good. The dining staff is very friendly and learn your name very quickly. My mother has a One bedroom apartment and it is very nice and quite large for a single person or even a couple. The staff will check on residents twice a day. And I feel like my mother is very safe in this facility. My mother is somewhat of an introvert and has trouble making friends but she has made several while being there. I encourage her to go to the activities there because they have a number of things for the residents.

We are fans of Burgundy Place. No criticisms at all. Truly caring people. They love and care for their residents. Always looking for ways to add value.

Nothing but praise for the experience my mother has had at Burgundy Place! She is no longer depressed and lonely living alone- she is fully engaged with their daily activities, her friend group and everyone she has the chance to interact with. I recommend Burgundy Place to other families looking for a safe, affordable and inclusive living arrangement for their elders!

We knew that we had to change our situation with our aging mother. My sister and I began reaching out to different independent living situations but every one of them had different offerings and cost. It got confusing very quickly. I went to Google and A Place for Mom came up with I was hesitant to give my information at first. Let's be honest we all get enough email spam and random calls interrupting our day and I didn't want to deal with that but I decided to take a chance. I got a call within the hour from someone relatively local. She asked questions about Mom's condition, needs and our priority as caregivers. Then I received a link and a couple of follow up calls or emails just asking if we had questions and then she left us alone to process. The information we had was exactly what was needed. We were able to be targeted in our search. A place for Mom saved us time, money and frustration. We have Mom in the perfect independent living situation. Her health has improved, she is happy and it has taken a huge load off my sister.

I visited at least once a week and was always greeted by smiling faces, employees who seemed to want to be there. Most of the employees I spoke with had been at Wexford for years. My Mom, Wexford resident, made a number of friends and enjoyed the activities offered, which there were plenty of. Had my Mom not advanced to a condition that Wexford is not equipped for, she would still be there. Great place I would recommend to my friends, family and anyone else who is in need of these accommodations.

I love everything about being in my own apartment again. This is known as independent living but some of us do use a walker or cane for our safety. I like knowing there is someone at the front desk 24/7 and check on you if you don't come down for meals or let them know you aren't coming down. I also like knowing you can have your meals delivered to your apartment when you need to. Not having to cook or clean my apartment is also a plus for me. Housekeeping is furnished once a week. As far as activities, a variety of things to do are available and you are encouraged to participate when you want to. Transportation is provided to doctor appointments twice a week, personal errands twice a week, including trips to Walmart Markets, once a week you can go with a group to a local restaurant for lunch and random day trips now and then. On a personal note, I'm very happy here and have made some wonderful friends. As with any place where you are around many different types of personalities, some will always find something to complain about on a continual basis. I find that I don't really like being around them very much.

The food is good and has plenty of variety. The building is clean and climate appropriate. Everyone is friendly and will try to accommodate anything you want. My apartment is large and has free TV and housekeeping. There are many activities daily. Three meals a day comes with the rent. It is a very pleasant community.

My mom moved there in April and died in June. She was starting to get used to being there. She was mostly happy with the food. Especially dessert! She complained about the toilet running all the time and they never fixed it. She was starting to make friends but some people were rude to her in the dining room even though the staff asked them not to be. She hated going down to eat. Just little things. All in all it was a good place.

All 5s, except food which is a 4. Very happy with facility and staff. The recommended that my mom move to Memory Care about a week after arrival. But it was the right decision. Very friendly, attentive, responsive staff. Have had a couple of communication misses but they were quickly resolved.

Friendly staff, good communication, I feel like they care and know all of residents well, facility is not huge. Yes, we would recommend this community to other families, we have zero complaints!

After a little over a year there, I'd say overall they're very satisfied with Wexford. My main concern has been the turnover with caregivers provided by their on site medical team, Catholic Community Charities. They've had several head administrators/nurses leave in a short period of time. Despite this, I would still highly recommend Wexford Place. It's very comfortable and homey. The staff is super responsive to the residents' needs and the dining experience and food is wonderful.

To a person, all staff are friendly, comfortable, and knowledgeable. They are all very caring, and observant to subtle changes in the residents. Our mom could not have been in a better environment. We are forever grateful that A Place for Mom introduced us to the facility!

I enjoyed my stay very much. The reason I left is that my husband needed more assistance than assisted living could do. The facility we moved to had Health care and independent under one roof. The staff was very friendly and helpful. There were lots of activities if one wanted to keep busy.

What we like the most about Dublin Retirement Village is the people - both the staff and the residents. Dad is in a caring community with a caring staff and residents. We have peace of mind that he is in a safe environment with loads of activities if he chooses to participate. Yes, we would recommend this community to other families.

The facility is beautiful and immaculate. Staff are all very nice. Nice big rooms with tall ceilings. Nice bathrooms. I'd move in if I could. High end facility with matching staff and amenities. Great for Independent, Assisted living and Memory Care.

My mom has had the best experience- she has independence of her own apartment, paired with a variety of activities and events available every day. The staff is exceptional- their care, compassion and kindness is evident from the moment you walk in the door for a tour and doesn’t end after your loved one moves in. They are intentional in every interaction with their residents and their families.

My comments here are concerning the Memory Care Unit specifically. Overall, I think it's an excellent facility. It's clean. It's relatively new. The staff doesn't have to work with old or outdated equipment and everyone is kind and appears happy to work there. Improvements that could be made: I would like to see more fresh fruits and vegetables served at meals. It's difficult in memory care to serve fresh salads, but I think it can be done. Lunch is almost always a sandwich and not everyone likes to eat sandwiches. I think that there could be more of a balance in that area. That's just a lot of bread sometimes. I would like to see more variety in activities, encouraging residents, especially those in memory care, to enjoy fresh air of the outside patio. By stationing an associate on the patio for one or two hours per day, residents should be able to roam in and out as they please during this time. Their patio is fully enclosed with no chance of residents wandering off. Even with these comments, requesting improvements, I still think it's an excellent facility and in my opinion, the best that we toured. This was the only facility's memory care unit that I toured that did not put everyone into a small room with a television for their entertainment. Residents frequently do gather in the dining room and some even sleep, there but they do so on their own accord.

The only issues are that it is memory care and difficult to manage behaviors when contacted over what to do. The cost is high with no assistance from any government programs. The campus is fantastic and the administration great.

My husband loved it! Everyone at Senior Star at Wexford Place was very nice! My husband loved the food. He was also able to get rehab while there.

They just remodeled and added a lunch Bistro. The food has been good . They offer so many programs and activities- there's something for everyone. Very welcoming community. DRV is awesome. Very caring staff. Couldn't be happier with our decision.
