My mom lives at Senior Star at Woodland Terrace. She's so happy at this facility! The staff is wonderful. Every staff member knows my mom by name and is so kind and caring to her. They really care about the well being of the residents and make sure that everyone is involved at a level that they are comfortable with. My mom has made some really good friends in her few short months living there and has really made it her home. We haven't had any problems whatsoever and mom is happy and thriving in this environment. It's the best thing she could have done! I definitely recommend this facility, without reservation.

I'm very pleased with Senior Star at Elmore Place Memory Care. My only rub is the cost, which is more than my mother's monthly income. I suggest them to anyone I know, regarding a safe and clean residence for their loved one. Communications with the family is great, with a daily activity log, pictures and updates. They have been very good in keeping me informed on any issues, such as her general attitude and any needs that they identify. I would recommend this facility to family and friends.

Our experience with the staff has been very good. They really seem to care that your loved one is has a good experience, is taken care of and safe. The building is kept well groomed. My Dad has a Studio Apartment, it's perfect for him. The layout is good for him and has plenty of space, the shower could be a little larger, so a shower chair fits and there is still plenty of room. It's a little tight right now with the shower chair.

I participate in the activities I choose and spend time in my apartment when I choose. The staff here is pleasant and helpful, as are most of the other residents. I am happier than I have been since college because I feel so free from burdens. Almost everything I need is right here. I can get medicine and other necessities delivered.

I'm currently a resident at The Kenwood by Senior Star. I came to look at this place and loved it, so I moved in! There is lots to do, everyone is so friendly at this facility. I'm happy to be here. I live in an independent apartment and I don't have the meal plan. I would recommend this facility to family and friends.

Everybody has been so wonderful here. It was a big change for my loved one to go from her home of over 50 years into Independent Living. Choosing a facility for her is something that we didn't take lightly. We really did a lot of searching and research. This has been a very good place for her. Everybody is so nice and helpful. It feels like a community here. There's a lot of interaction between residents and staff. They have a good variety of activities, including: music, pizza parties, ice cream socials, games/bingo, etc. There are always people around and people playing games. They have a nice family room that residents can watch movies or football in and also a band. They had a beautiful spread for Christmas with a buffet, music, dessert bar, etc. The staff knows everyone by name. Anytime I call, they're very knowledgeable and quick to answer my questions or find the answer if they don't know. My loved one really likes it here. I would absolutely recommend this facility to family and friends.

We had a good tour at The Kenwood. We were just looking for a smaller community that was memory care specific.

My mother moved to Wexford Place memory care 9 months ago. She had an unsuccessful stay at John Knox Village and we almost lost her. Wexford is a wonderful community of very dedicated and wonderful caregivers and I am grateful we found them!

I live at The Kenwood. The staff does an excellent job and are helpful and friendly. The maintenance staff are very good. Residents are nice and friendly. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. I love it here

This facility literally checked every box we had. Everyone is so friendly. There is always something going on to participate in. I get information daily on my loved one. All staff are informative and friendly. They offer a variety of activities including exercise class, ice cream socials, bean bag baseball, Chiefs game day viewing parties, etc. The carpets could be cleaner. They provide housekeeping and bed changing. I've recommended them every chance I get and will continue to.

The tour experience with Senior Star at Wexford Place was great. We just felt that compared to others we were looking at, the value for the money was not as good here.

The staff is friendly, and they make a point to get to know the residents and what they like. They check on them daily to make sure that they're safe. The food is one area they could do a little better on. I would like to see more variety and a few more a la carte options. Sometimes the vegetables are mushy, the food is cold, etc. But the activities are good. And the cost seems reasonable.

This community is really good. The staff is very friendly, that sticks out to us. My loved one's are settling in well. We had some personal challenges at the beginning and they were great about helping us through those. Housekeeping is weekly and it's average. The overall facility is very clean, but I don't feel like they deep clean the units themselves. I also know they're having staffing issues with housekeeping, so that could be it. The food is good. It always smells good. They offer good quality and a good variety. Communication with the family is good. They distribute a monthly menu, weekly activity schedule, and they also do announcements over the intercom when things are happening or about to start (ie: activities). They do have a good variety of activities. I would recommend them to friends and family.

The staff are exceptionally well trained and friendly. Excellent communication between management and residents. Brunch every Friday, at which time there is a meeting with management, all managers present. The building is well maintained and clean, and the grounds cannot be duplicated. Food is generally good. Like everyone, staffing is a current challenge.

It was nice and clean. Dining room was inviting, staff was nice, and I liked the laundry room on the same floor as room.

We picked this community because, it was closer, cost less for a one bedroom , clean and I liked the two ladies who were running it which has since left.

We chose this facility mainly because of their reputation. They offer activities, facility is very clean. I would recommend them to family and friends with deeper pockets, cost seems pretty high.
