After a little over a year there, I'd say overall they're very satisfied with Wexford. My main concern has been the turnover with caregivers provided by their on site medical team, Catholic Community Charities. They've had several head administrators/nurses leave in a short period of time. Despite this, I would still highly recommend Wexford Place. It's very comfortable and homey. The staff is super responsive to the residents' needs and the dining experience and food is wonderful.

To a person, all staff are friendly, comfortable, and knowledgeable. They are all very caring, and observant to subtle changes in the residents. Our mom could not have been in a better environment. We are forever grateful that A Place for Mom introduced us to the facility!

I enjoyed my stay very much. The reason I left is that my husband needed more assistance than assisted living could do. The facility we moved to had Health care and independent under one roof. The staff was very friendly and helpful. There were lots of activities if one wanted to keep busy.

What we like the most about Dublin Retirement Village is the people - both the staff and the residents. Dad is in a caring community with a caring staff and residents. We have peace of mind that he is in a safe environment with loads of activities if he chooses to participate. Yes, we would recommend this community to other families.

The facility is beautiful and immaculate. Staff are all very nice. Nice big rooms with tall ceilings. Nice bathrooms. I'd move in if I could. High end facility with matching staff and amenities. Great for Independent, Assisted living and Memory Care.

My mom has had the best experience- she has independence of her own apartment, paired with a variety of activities and events available every day. The staff is exceptional- their care, compassion and kindness is evident from the moment you walk in the door for a tour and doesn’t end after your loved one moves in. They are intentional in every interaction with their residents and their families.

My comments here are concerning the Memory Care Unit specifically. Overall, I think it's an excellent facility. It's clean. It's relatively new. The staff doesn't have to work with old or outdated equipment and everyone is kind and appears happy to work there. Improvements that could be made: I would like to see more fresh fruits and vegetables served at meals. It's difficult in memory care to serve fresh salads, but I think it can be done. Lunch is almost always a sandwich and not everyone likes to eat sandwiches. I think that there could be more of a balance in that area. That's just a lot of bread sometimes. I would like to see more variety in activities, encouraging residents, especially those in memory care, to enjoy fresh air of the outside patio. By stationing an associate on the patio for one or two hours per day, residents should be able to roam in and out as they please during this time. Their patio is fully enclosed with no chance of residents wandering off. Even with these comments, requesting improvements, I still think it's an excellent facility and in my opinion, the best that we toured. This was the only facility's memory care unit that I toured that did not put everyone into a small room with a television for their entertainment. Residents frequently do gather in the dining room and some even sleep, there but they do so on their own accord.

The only issues are that it is memory care and difficult to manage behaviors when contacted over what to do. The cost is high with no assistance from any government programs. The campus is fantastic and the administration great.

My husband loved it! Everyone at Senior Star at Wexford Place was very nice! My husband loved the food. He was also able to get rehab while there.

They just remodeled and added a lunch Bistro. The food has been good . They offer so many programs and activities- there's something for everyone. Very welcoming community. DRV is awesome. Very caring staff. Couldn't be happier with our decision.

The staff was wonderful. They were prompt in responding to any requests or concerns. The facility was well maintained and Dad loved the food! We were happy the had a doctor available to meet with Dad. It felt like home every time we came to see Dad….always welcomed by the staff.

My loved one is currently a resident at Senior Star at Elmore Place. The experience at this facility has been great so far. The staff is very caring. I would definitely recommend Senior Star at Elmore Place to others.

The staff are welcoming, in tune to residents, go above and beyond. We have been very happy with everything and highly recommend it. They are very available to families to answer questions and get help and I also think there's tons of stuff for them to do.

I can't stress enough how Senior Star at Wexford Place consistently goes above and beyond in all areas every day. The peace of mind that it gives us is immeasurable. I can't think of anything that could be improved. Wexford Place is awesome. I would highly recommend it to others.

What I like the most about the Harrison on 5th community is the exquisite common areas and the community is also located in a great vibrant part of town. Based on the experience I have had so far, I have recommend this community to other families

Yes i would and have recommended to more than one friend and one has already moved in . I have already addressed my concerns and they have taken my comments very well. Some foods have to much spice. And things i would like to see on the menu. More diabetic choices. It seems some of these ideas have already been discussed by staff. I was happy to hear.

They have been great to work with and they really love and care for the residents. Most all the staff is very patient with the residents and go above and beyond to help them. They really try to get to know the residents and their needs.

The staff are wonderful and friendly. They will help with anything you need. Housekeeping was great and the people were very nice. I only communicated by email through my husband because I was out of the country. I did the move in because he didn't have very much to move and no furniture. The food was exceptional. It was like a fine restaurant with several choices. He absolutely loved the dining room staff and the quality of the food. We were invited to a luncheon for Veteran's Day. It was very nice and the people were very friendly. I definitely would recommend this facility. I already told my daughter when we have to move again, I want to go there! Also, my husband had rehab while he was there and they let him be outpatient until the rehab was finished. He loved the staff and misses seeing them.

Prices on the aplaceformom website are not quite clear. For a memory care placement the fees are as follows: • Companion Suite starting at $[removed]per month • One Bedroom starting at $[removed] per month • Studio starting at $[removed] per month A lot of money, but it is gorgeous with loads of amenities and access to care and therapies. We certainly had no idea things were going to be this kind of expensive. I will now be planning for my children's retirement now, not my parent's or our own.
