Overall things have gone very well at Wexford Place! It's a very nice looking community, and they do a good job keeping everything looking clean and well kept. We struggled a bit initially getting her medication service set up correctly, but it all worked out eventually. The staff here are great, they are very caring and friendly, and you can really see it in the way they treat the residents. The administration have been very good as well, they respond quickly to any questions and requests you might have.

We're very happy with Dublin Retirement Village. They've gone to great lengths to help my mother adapt to her new living situation. The staff is very friendly and they make every effort to get her involved in the activities they offer. The food is very good and the residents are welcome to bring leftovers back to their apartments for other meals. She was able to bring her dog with her, which was especially important to her. The apartment is very nicely laid out and there is a good amount of storage. The grounds are well-kept and very attractive. All in all, this was a wonderful referral!

It's been very good. My father-in-law doesn't participate in anything but from what I can see it looks like they have a lot of good things. He did go to a luau and he thought that was quite fun. Overall we're very happy with it. They made it very easy. They were understanding and didn't hover. My father-in-law didn't want a lot of attention and they seemed to find that right balance between making him feel welcome and not bothering him at the same time. His apartment had new carpet, was freshly painted and very clean. Wexford Place seemed to have the best value.

The administrative staff at Independent Living was on top of every possible situation and communication was excellent. Also they did add the Bistro and dad loved sitting down there. The person who cooks at the bistro is an absolute excellent person who caters to everyone's individual preferences. The billing transition has been an issue from the very beginning. We also felt that sales was a little less than completely honest with us about availability in the assisted living part. Since then things have been better and I would say that people have been very attentive to him. He likes the food and especially likes Milkshake Monday. The van drivers have taken him to 2 appointments and both experiences were exceptionally good.

[Name Removed] was very helpful with discussing options and the facility. The independent living building is older so I noticed some areas that are worn, and hallways were narrower than newer facilities so I worried about walkers and wheelchairs as mom declines. The common areas were smaller than other places and didn't feel as inviting. They do have a swimming pool which is great for water aerobics. I spoke with a couple of residents that said they liked it there; food was "ok". I was concerned when mom needs to move to assisted living the price will jump a lot. Overall though, this was my #2 choice so it is not bad in my opinion and I have heard good things about it.

They seem to sincerely want to provide the best environment for their residents. I would definitely recommend, I'm very happy with the care they have given my parents, and most importantly the peace of mind it's given to me and our family. That's about it.

Overall - it is good but not perfect. Staff is friendly and helpful. Food is good and healthy. there are lots of activities and the people are friendly. Age groups are 70s, 80s and 90s. It is clean. Apartments are several different sizes. We have had several new residents since the new year. It is easy for new residents to join in the group.

The facility is well maintained, clean. The staff are all very friendly and attentive. The apartments are very nice. Roomy and comfortable. The only drawback from my standpoint is the overall size is a very large facility, but that's probably not a drawback for others. It is quiet and smells nice. The food is good.

Seems like a nice facility…however most places seem nice when you visit. You can only hope that your mom is getting the care when no eyes are in them.

The staff are very good and will try to help you with any problems. Your loved one may not integrate right away. Be willing to be patient. Personally I wish my parents could have stayed there, but one wasn't ready to be there. In the month that we were there, I think they did try to help my parents.

Staff is excellent. Food/Dining is also nice. Food looks good. Apartment size is also nice.

The food is pretty good, lots of variety, but definitely institutional. There are lots of activities & special celebrations. There's even a brain training program available. Family members are regularly kept in the loop. Best of all for me is that with very little advance notice Wexford provides transportation for medical appointments. There are lots of staff members & there's been a fair amount of staff change but my loved one has several staff who know him & are very cheerful & caring toward him

Nice facility, just a bit too pricey for my mom's budget. The food is a bit bland and limited but to be expected when you have to cater to a large group.

The facility and staff are great- (my dad moved there) he likes the smaller size. But, the downgrade is the food. It's horrendous. But, my dad still cooks some at this point and can drive. Aside from the food, my dad is very happy there.

Food I think has improved in the past year but it is inconsistent. At times way too salty or hard to cut or chew for older residents. I often wish that the substitute menu would be better. They do seem willing to listen to suggestions. Activities- sometimes really nice and special. This seems to be improving in that there are a few more activities in the evening. Weekend activities are rather sparse. Staff- there are many outstanding and caring staff. At times response is slow due to staffing shortages. General clean though better ventilation might help with nursing home smells. Always difficult to find best route but dining room chance for conversation and stimulation is impeded by seating. It seems that a new person sits randomly at a table and it is difficult to then move to a more appropriate spot. There are so many factors such as ability to speak loudly, hearing difficulties, personalities etc. but I notice at times it is the only time that some have much social interaction.

They were very helpful & made move in for respite happen very quickly. Their respite stays are 15 days minimum, 30 days maximum.

Management fostered a culture of inclusion. Other residents for the most part, we're very friendly and outgoing. They had a lot of activities to keep residents busy and engaged. Unfortunately [name removed] had a massive stroke on [date removed], she died on [date removed].

I can honestly say thw front desk clerk ([name removed]) will be your new best friend! If you need anything he will get it or tell you where to get it! As for the maintenance crew, they are amazing! [name removed] will assemble or disassemble anything you need! He will also help load your car if you have a heavy object! The food is amazing and the chef is super nice! As for the medical aides most are great but the night crew needs work. There were many times they did not change my husband's diaper before the shift change although they claimed they did. The morning staff came in to a wet resident as well as the whole bed! Unacceptable! There does not seem to be enough medical aides to cover all the residents needing help. This needs to be improved! The nurses ([name removed] and [name removed]) were nice too! Although, the facility needs to improve their medication billing! I brought in medication from home yet received bills for the medication! How is that possible? This could be a great facility but it isn't yet!
