Senior Star Management Company

My husband has dementia and is new at Wexford. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. They are very patient with whatever happens. My husband has therapy with three people for various problems that he has. The food is good and appropriate for each person.Each person has a care plan. There are activities daily and entertainment a couple of times a month. So far it has been good.

BP is under new management so I'm waiting to make opinions. It's not home yet but I'm adapting.

After you sign on the dotted line you are pretty much ignored. My mom just died and I called to talked to someone. No one called me back. I had to go there before we were acknowledged by management. I had to call a couple of times for someone to check on mom. Those checks were done promptly. Pretty good food. Wait staff were kind. There are a lot of activities offered.

Wexford place was really a nice clean place and very very efficient on most things but it's like every other senior citizen place is weekends you need to be there with your family cause they're shorthanded and what help they have is very poor Other thing I say about it was they don't do clothes like they supposed to they're supposed to eat in individuals clothes and they don't even ask her. I pointed out a pink robe that I took out of my closet to ask him to put it on. He said didn't fit him. I told him it didn't fit my brother either And all we still got wrong clothes and what we missed I know it was still continue because they pair of socks that one Ed going home package and all so they're like everybody else there is so so way places are right now.

I would absolutely recommend Burgundy Place. My FIL chose BP due to the units that were available, location, etc...

I am currently a resident at Senior Star at Burgundy Place and things have been very good for me here, so far. The cleanliness and friendliness are great. The staff, activities and food are good. Based on my experience, I would recommend this facility to others.

Our family had an in person tour and we really thought the tour experience was very good, but the main issue for us was the community just seemed a little outdated so it wasn't going to be the best fit.

Huge, independent living with a floor with maybe some assistance. Not for someone who has any arthritis/knee, hip problems/walking problems or any mental decline because lots of long hallways and confusing set up.

This is a clean and beautiful community. It has beautiful views of nature and the park. The people are nice but right now is a hard time for everyone with the staffing challenges that everyone is going through. The administration staff have been very helpful and available through the process. The tour was great and I got to see everything that I needed and they gave me all of the information that I needed.

This has been a great move for my loved one. I would make sure to ask questions on what is most important to you and your loved one. I would also recommend you get the answers from more than one person. My loved one is thriving here. The staff have been helpful, and great at listening. There is one meal a day that is included in the monthly fee, along with housekeeping once a week. Some of the activities that are available include exercise classes, water aerobics, yoga, wellness classes, arts and crafts, socials, and more for the residents to choose from.

We chose Senior Star because it was recommended to us by his doctor and also when we came to tour this was the facility he really liked the best. The room sizes are a little on the smaller side, they could be bigger. They do offer a lot of activities and there always seems to be something going on. He has Parkinson's and the staff seem to really work with him and help him out when they can. We would recommend them to others.

Our family had an in person tour and we say the memory care unit and it was very busy. There was a lot going on, the residents were really getting engaged but for our parents since we were overwhelmed we thought they would be just as overwhelmed. However, everyone was still very nice and accommodating.

The nursing staff was good. The lady at the front desk can be a little less than friendly. I would recommend this community that is more independent is a great place. If your loved one is above a 2 on the scale of care needs, I would recommend you go to a different community.

Our loved one is in memory care unit and they have a nice garden right outside. It is a walking trail and our loved one likes to walk it a lot. We would recommend Senior Star community to a family or friend.

I had a nice tour of this community, and everything went well. The community looked nice, everything was nice, and clean. The staff I came across was friendly, and polite. The experience was a good once. Unfortunately, they were unable to take my father for his respite care stay because he was on a mechanical soft diet at the time.

I had recently taken a tour of this community for my father and it was a pleasant experience. The staff where on time to our appointment and made sure to answer any questions we had for them. I thought they had a nice floor plan with lots of great amenities for all of the residents. It was a nice place but just was not the right fit for him in the end decision.

I have no complaints about how things are going for my mother since she made the move into this community. She has been making her way down to the dinning room and enjoys the meals they are providing. I am pleased to see that she is slowly starting to get involved with a few of the activities they have available throughout the week. The staff have been easy to work with and I am comfortable with the care they are providing.
