I love everything about Grand Villa. I like how the staff handles the residents. The few residents that I have met are very kind and helpful. [name removed] has a very nice way of speaking with the residents, keeping them informed of everything they want to know. I feel like we’re lucky to have her. She’s the right person for this position.

My dad and I were very hesitant on choosing a senior living community since he moved in he is so much more happy than he was living at home. The activities and meals are fantastic! The staff is attentive, warm, and friendly.

I was very unhappy to have to move my dad into memory care, having had a bad experience at another facility. However, the ED and leasing coordinator at Grand Villa Clearwater promised that their memory care would exceed expectations...and it has. The memory care staff is amazing. They have made the transition as smooth as possible, and have been readily available to answer questions and address concerns. They take excellent care of their residents and I am hugely comforted to know my dad is safe and so well cared for. Placing a loved one in memory care is a hard choice, especially if they are in the moderate stages of dementia and still high functioning. If you are in this situation, I highly recommend Grand Villa Clearwater to you.

If you need a place for your loved one, I would recommend Grand Villa. The place is nice and doesn't feel like a nursing home. It actually feels like home. I feel good my loved one is here. They have activities for the residents to engage them with. The staff are good to work with.

Mom moved in 4 weeks ago and we couldn’t be happier. Mom only needs medication management so she still has her independence. Her apartment is beautiful with new kitchen and new appliances. The Executive Director [name removed] is very involved and Her staff is top notch. We are given updates on her participation in activities, meals and overall adjustment to her new home. We looked at 6 places and this one felt like home to us. We Love it and so does mom.

The tour that I took with Grand Villa of Sarasota was very impressive. The people who showed us around took their time and answered all of our questions. We found another facility would be the better fit for my loved one based on his needs, but this seemed like a great choice.

I couldn't rate the activities good or bad as of yet. Covid has had a lockdown on that until this point. They are starting to do activities again. They send us updates of any outbreaks of covid. My loved one really likes the meals. The staff has been good across the board. They are easy to work with, we worked through a few bumps in the road, etc. They are very patient and understanding. The staff at the front desk to the ones giving her medications are all great. We have yet to have a bad experience with the staff. They are doing renovations throughout the place.

The community is beautiful. I would recommend the community to others for their loved ones to see if it it would a be a good fit. There are lots of activities for the residents to stay engaged with. The community is new and bright. The staff are very good in an emergency for care for my loved one. The food has a good variety of options, and they have standards for the residents to choose from as well. The service can be a little slow in the dining room; however, I feel this can be normal.

This community was over the top and beautiful. We loved everything about it. The location was just not conducive for my loved one and for visits

The staff is pleasant. They have games and movies nightly. They are taken out shopping. Only con is the sign in because it takes so long to get signed in on the tablet.

The staff are very nice, friendly, and amazing. They have been accommodating with the food and have been able to assist with dietary restrictions. It has been a pleasant experience. The front desk is friendly and accommodating from the moment you walk in. The activities in the memory care could be more available for the residents. The staff are doing the best they can to assist the residents.

We chose Elan Manatee because when I went to tour and met with them I was SO impressed, I would have moved here myself. If I could give them better than a 5 I would. I have been pleased in every single way. The service has been excellent, my mother likes all of the caregivers., and the facility is gorgeous. It feels like a high end hotel. For the money it is wonderful and I would highly recommend.

grand villa is filled with an extremely pleasant staff who are always eager to please. through my experience, i do believe that they care very deeply for the residents and their families. compared to other communities, the price was reasonable. i especially liked that their respite care had a two week minimum stay - as opposed to three-four weeks. this was extremely convenient and perfectly accommodated the average persons availability (like myself). the only thing i would change is the move in/out process. there weren't any sufficient carts or dollies to make that transition smoother, so i did spend some time making multiple trips in and out of the building. the maintenance man did bring me an old cart, but i would recommend that they make an investment in decent equipment to help with that task. when my loved one was brought home from respite care, the staff took time out of their day to frequently call and check on me. my loved one passed away a couple months later and they still made it a priority to call and check on my wellbeing which i appreciated. if the need arises, i would not hesitate to send another loved one to spend some time at grand villa.

grand villa has a lot of activities and they encourage people to socialize, rather than sitting in their rooms - especially those in memory care. they also have doctors on the property and they offer transportation for appointments. overall i've been very happy with my experiences through this community.

Our family had an in person tour and this is just a beautiful property with beautiful landscaping, you can tell everything is well taken care of.

My mom is happy here at this community. They have a very good activities director that plans great things for the residents . This looks like a comfortable place for your loved one. This community is home like and friendly

This is the best place I've ever lived, whether I owned it or not. Everyone is nice and helpful. 3 delicious meals a day and ice cream socials.
