I toured Grand Villa of Englewood recently with my family to get an idea about placing my uncle. The staff member who gave us the tour had a lot of great information & seemed like he knew everything about the community. Grand Villa of Englewood looks & feels like a resort then a community for the elderly. It gives it that home kind of feeling, which is really nice. The biggest bonus we feel is the benefit of having medical staff (dr.s, nurses, care managers) being able to come to the residents rooms and perform checkups without them having to leave their apartment. Talked about convenience!

We moved my mom in two weeks ago into the Grand Villa in Inglewood is the best senior facility that I have ever seen and I’ve been in many of them as I am a hairdresser and travel to them to do hair my mom did not want to come here and was very upset in the first couple hours in and the second day she was bowling and attending most of the activities she loves it there the service is impeccable and professional and so clean I honor all the employees as they are not there because they make good money they are there because they do a great job and love what they do thank you to all of you and for making my mom feel so comfortable

II am writing this review after having a delicious lunch served to me at grand Villa. Staff could not have been more helpful they catered to my special needs. I have requested changes to the layout of my apartment and The staff has been more than helpful accommodating my wishes. The atmosphere and ambience at Grand villa is reminiscent of a fine hotel. my experiences here have been a first rate. Five stars.

Grand Villa East is a beautiful friendly place. My mom’s been here since March 2022 and she loves it and it’s close to my house. The staff is very friendly and helpful as well. No complaints.

The staff are helpful. They helped to get the things that we needed to be able to enter the community. They've also been helpful when my loved one had Covid for a while. We were able to work together to get her back on track. When things were hard, they really came through. They have a lot of good activities, and It's a safe community.

Caregivers are dedicated and friendly. The food is great. Community is very clean. [name removed] the executive Director is wonderful, Her door is always open. I visit with her everyday. If I could give a 10 star rating I would! Very Happy with Grand Villa of New Port Richey!

I am a current resident here at Grand Villa of NPR and have been here for 2 1/2 years. I have meet many residents here and I enjoy talking to all of them. The food here is very good and the dining room staff are great. The community is clean, always sanitized and they are always renovating to keep it updated. The housekeeping department does a great job keeping the community clean and the care staff take great care of me. The Executive Director, [name removed] is a caring, loving person who takes great care of all of her residents. I stop in and see her everyday and her door is open to all of her residents. I would highly recommend this community!!

My father has only been here a couple of weeks but overall the process of acceptance and getting him moved in has been excellent. The staff has been friendly and helpful. Grand Villa of Englewood looks much more like a resort than an independent living home and we are extremely pleased with everything. Having several doctors that come to the site as well as physical therapy and occupational therapy has been a big benefit for my father. An additional benefit is having staff there to draw blood and have his blood tested without having to leave his apartment.

Truewood By Merrill Port Charlotte is a very nice facility was was beautifully decorated for the holidays and had great staff. They provide assisted living as well as independent living in the same facility and they mix those residents for social events. Because of that, there was a lack of activities. Even though they are also on separate wings, it smelled like an assisted living facility. My loved one wanted a place that was fully independent that would not feel like a care facility.

Very thorough and patient with answering my questions and getting the paperwork done.

Everyone knows that it can be a difficult time when the decision is made to move a loved one into Assisted Living, and I feel that I absolutely made the best decision in choosing Grand Villa Delray East. From our first meeting with the young lady in leasing, my mother and I had a good feeling. There are some people that I would love to recognize, but I'm not supposed to use names. It starts with the new Director, the activities lady, the Chef, the Head Server, the young lady at the Front Desk, some nurses and aides. My mother commented the other day, "Everyone here calls me by my name and they're so nice to me. I feel like they really care". What more could you ask for?

The friendliness of the staff gets a 5+, they are so caring which was something that really stood out to us right away. Being on the memory care side the staff all work together, every resident is a responsibility of everyone that works on that floor. That gives us a huge sense of relief and allows us to relax in knowing our loved one is well looked after and taken care of. They have excellent and consistent communication whether they are initiating it or we are. They are always willing to speak with us no matter what. We obviously are very happy.

I have a family member that has been living at Grand Villa in the memory care facility for quite some time. I am exceptionally happy with everything about Grand Villa including staff, meals, activities and attentiveness to my family member. However, there is a new director in charge of the whole facility that just doesn’t give off that warm and fuzzy feeling. I was there to visit my mother in April, and was fortunate enough to join in their Spring Fling celebration which was a lot of fun. I witnessed the new director trying to interact with residents and their families, and she wasn’t fitting in like I felt she needed to be. There was also a more recent issue concerning my mother within the past two weeks, and because the new director DOES NOT make it a point to truly get to know each resident, the issue was not handled appropriately. It appears that she is more concerned about getting a paycheck to pay for her physical upkeep, than about my mother as a resident at Grand Villa.

Grand Villa EAST, Sims Road, Delray Beach, Fl. Assisted Living. Employees at all levels, seem to have been very carefully screened, trained and hired. All employees are compassionate, knowledgeable and helpful. Most especially ,I'd like to point out 3 people that go even way beyond. A 2nd floor Wellness Nurse, [name removed] [Spelling might not be correct] but everyone knows who she is. She is always helpful, pleasant and considerate. When their is a problem with my husband, she will call me to discuss and solve it. From the top level, the Director [name removed] is always ready to help and kind understanding. From the Leasing, [name removed] She is always available to talk and help even well after a client has already moved into this facility. She has a lovely personality and is so well suited for her position. As I said, everyone. My husband did not want to move from our home. Since he arrived at Grand Villa, not once did he say he complain to me about anything. [name removed]

This is a beautiful memory care unit. My dad is safe and happy with the care the staff provides. [Name removed] the memory care Director is so kind and caring and keeps us updated on all of dad‘s progress. We are so happy

Highly recommend it

The community is very accommodating to the family's requests. The staff have gotten to know my loved one and what my loved one's needs are. The staff are great at answering all the family's questions as well. The meals are served three times a day. The community is able to provide medication management, bathing, dressing, and hygiene care as some of the care that is offered by them.
