I'm really pleased so far. Cleanliness, friendliness, and activities have all been great. I've not tried the food, but my mom has said it's very good. I would definitely recommend that it's worth going to check it out.

I currently live at Grand Villa of Englewood and feel that the community has a very warm & home like feeling to it that I enjoy being apart of. It is very close to everything as far as shopping & grocery stores, and it makes it easy for me to visit my mom as she lives close to Boca Grande. The rent/rates are reasonable and I am able to live comfortably here.

I really like the weather here in Port Charlotte, Florida. This community is right across the street from a shopping center so I can just walk across to some stores. It is also in a safe area and near a hospital. Based on my experience so far I would recommend the Truewood by Merrill community to other families.

I have been allowed to bring my 8 year old dacshund and he has been an asset and good company for myself and many of the other residents,

Our loved one feels very safe being at Grand Villa which is so important, she has loved meeting a lot of the other residents and staff members. Based on our experience so far we would recommend them to other families.

I had a great tour experience with The Pineapple House. I really liked [name removed] the gal I worked with. The room that they had available for me was on the second floor which would not have worked out, especially since I have a dog that I have to take outside multiple times a day.

I have never seen my mother this happy, including when she was back living at home. Tuscan Gardens is fantastic. The staff is friendly, extremely attentive, pleasant, and very caring. The facility is gorgeous. There are are so many activities and fun things to do. The outside area is beautiful. There are three Italian chefs who were visiting from Italy and providing training, and my mom, who is a picky Italian woman who prided herself on her own cooking, thinks the food is fantastic, which says a lot. [name removed], the director, is very hands on. He is very involved and committed to the residents. From the moment my mother arrived, they were nothing but amazingly welcoming. They rolled out a red carpet with staff and residents standing by applauding. It brought her to tears to receive such a warm welcome. She thanks me every time I call her. She says "Thank you so much for bringing me to this amazing place. I'm so happy here. I wake up in the morning happy until the time I go to sleep." The medical staff on site are phenomenal - the doctors, nurses, PT, aides, transportation, everybody is really attentive and pleasant. It's true down home Southern hospitality. Especially coming from New York, you really feel welcomed, appreciated, and respected. Our whole family experiences the same thing every visit. The staff really go out of their way to make you feel welcome and make each day the best day possible.

If you are looking for a place for your loved ones, you have found the best place available. My parents have been there since [date removed], and I cannot think of a better place for them. They were cared for and protected before, during and after Covid. The staff is the most caring and friendly staff I have ever seen, they take an interest in each resident and treat them like family. [name removed] the Executive Director is absolutely awesome and does a great job of leading her people. She always has a smile for your residents and staff as well as family when we arrive. Her love for her residents shows in everything she does. The motto of this facility is "Looks like Home, Feels like Family". They believe this and she this every day to their residents and guest. Your loved ones could not be in better care anywhere else. Stop your search, you have found the place for them.

Having a loved one with ALZ/DEM has not been easy. Certainly not easy on our family . As we tried to honor our moms wishes and keep her home, she was to take another direction. After a hospital stay and 2 weeks at Hospice - long term memory care was where she needed to be. Not an easy decision ~ Grand Villa was an easy decision!! From the first moment you walk in you can see, smell and feel this is a place that you can feel comfortable leaving your loved one. Everything has been beyond our expectations!! The staff are caring, and happy !! They have tons of activities. Communication is outstanding. Clean and safe. Our mom is doing amazing in her new world .

I have had such a great time living here our Executive Director is wonderful he takes the time out to listen to us and he will sometimes just shoot the breeze with us. The staff I feel are like my friends they know me and my family. The nursing staff are very kind they will take there time out to listen to me when I am feeling sad even if it’s just about my dogs who are not here with me and will ask about how they are when I come back from seeing them and want o see pictures. I am very comfortable housekeeping makes sure my bed is made nice and my room is cozy. If I ever have maintenance problems they are right there to take care of it. I love the activities it is fun socializing and making new friends..

I am an RN from Kindred At Home and this was my first visit to grand Villa in New Port Richie, Florida. I was very impressed. [name removed], the nurse, was extremely helpful and informative. Facility was extremely clean. The receptionist at the front desk was very helpful in assisting me to sign into the kiosk. [name removed], the provider, was extremely friendly and I experienced her kindness to the patient.

The Grand Villa community gets 5 stars all around they have been exceptional. The staff members give personal care and personal attention to the residents. They meet every possible need they have and really make them feel welcomed and comfortable. They go out of their way to do whatever and go above and beyond their daily responsibilities. They have a ton of different activities going on, they have a full printed calendar show casing what they have. The residents get to go out twice a week to shop at different stores. It is also very economical - to be able to afford this level of care and cleanliness is just exceptional.

Everyone is cheerful and upbeat. I took a tour of Memory Care. It’s a beautiful space and the staff are friendly and attentive. [name removed] was patient and knowledgeable answering my questions.

I had always thought that I would not like living in a community environment. The first time I walked into Grand Villa I knew this was the place I wanted to be my forever home. The food is outstanding, which is evidence by the numbers on the scale getting bigger. The entire staff is professional , courteous and friendly. They and all my new neighbors have welcomed me home.

Every time I go I’m greeted by a friendly person at the desk. The people are friendly and the staff is friendly as well. The arrangements are nice and my mom loves it there as well as I. I would highly recommend this for anyone looking for a place for their love ones.

It is expensive but it is worth it because the care she is receiving has been great. They have always got something going activities wise for them in memory care so they are not just sitting there. They do have private and shared rooms available and my loved one is in a shared room. I would definitely recommend Grand Villa of New Port Richey.

Brentwood at Fore Ranch really gives off that general overall welcoming sense. The apartments here are spacious and well kept. Based on the experience I have had so far I would recommend this community to other families.

Our experience has been mostly limited to the tour, signing documents and moving our loved one in. The marketing person [name removed] was very nice on the tour and even invited us to sit down and have a meal before the initial tour ever started. We have found the food here at the community to be excellent which came to us as a surprise. The staff were so accommodating and cooperative when it came to our loved one needed some furnishings to move in - they really helped make that move in transition go smoothly. Our loved one quickly fell into the social life which was surprising. He is attending the ice cream socials and other different events which has been a delight to witness. He has quickly found a community for himself.
