The overall atmosphere of Sentry Hill really stood out to our family, it seemed much more welcoming than the other facilities we had looked at. We would recommend this community to others and have already recommend it.

The staff seem to be very friendly, helpful and attentive. They've done everything they could to make the transition as smooth as possible, especially considering my love done didn't want to move in the first place. All the spaces indoors and out have seemed very well groomed and taken care of. It's just a joy to be there.

I chose The Breakers because I liked the apartment and it was an opportunity to get into a senior community rather than being forced into it. They do have studios, 1 bedrooms, and a couple of 2 bedroom apartments. A lot of people try to make suggestions for the food and it seems like they do not take those into consideration at all. Overall I would recommend to others who are looking.

Overall, the community is friendly. It's predominantly younger, single or widowed women who are very able and independent. That seems to be the type of person best suited for Baywinde. They try to have activities, but it's just he same ones over and over. Also, they're not thorough in notifying the residents of the activities ahead of time either. My loved one is confined to a wheelchair, and I had to hire an outside hourly contractor to move her around the building - to take her to activities, to the dining room, to the hairdresser. The contractor would charge for the whole time in the dining room or at the hairdresser, not just the 5-minute walk. She's not affiliated with Baywinde, but they recommended her, and she's like a quasi-employee, picking up where Baywinde falls short. So if you're a resident at Baywinde, you must be capable of getting around by yourself. It's very independent living. If you have more needs and are more dependent, then you're lost. Because of that, my loved one was alone in her room a lot. The dining room staff was pretty good, very nice and attentive. They tended to be younger, and it was nice for them to be around the residents. The daytime front desk person was kind of rude. But the other receptionists and greeters were very nice, and so were the business manager, director, and assistant director. The assistant director was new but was doing her best to make some outward improvements. The sales director was a compulsive over-promiser and under-deliverer, so you would get in there and suddenly realize some of the things he said Baywinde could/would do, they don't. My loved one was there during the pandemic when there was more pressure to keep things clean. Their housekeeping crew was pretty fast, but didn't really provide a thorough scrub down. The food was good on some days, others it wasn't. Overall, I know they provide a lot of things, but it seems really expensive. The place is 15 years old or so and needs some upgrades, - bathrooms, carpeting, walls/wallpaper, the dining room, etc. The inside just looks tired. I know the property has been sold several times, and I think the latest owners are kind of up to their eyeballs in debt service. But I don't think you'll really find a less expensive place either.

Larger rooms and better pricing than North Shore Place, but many of the same amenities, only its an overall older building and the finishes aren't as nice. Distance is a downside (full 30 min each way) and we don't really ever need to go to that area of town otherwise. Staffed Coffee shop is a big plus.

Our loved one first moved in on the memory care side and that was a very good experience The person who oversaw it was great, she really seemed on top of everything and was always very responsive. We had great communication with her. Now our loved one is on the assisted living side and we know there was going to be less oversight, but the nurse who oversees assisted living has been a little difficult working with, sometimes the communication gets lost regarding our loved ones medication.

I toured The Breakers and everything was fine, it was just not as new of a facility or as open of a concept as I would have liked.

My parents chose them because of the location and it is month to month rather than having to pay a down payment. They have a 2 bedroom apartment and it is very nice for what they need. They activities are just starting to come back up since covid, but you do have to seek out the activities to be involved in them. They just switched chefs recently, they were really pleased before but there are some things that the new chef could use improvement on. Overall I would recommend to others looking.

I liked this facility a lot. It's a very simple, homey layout. I was not convinced, however, that they would be able to handle my mom's dementia as she is still highly mobile and opinionated. I think that if she was more advanced in her dementia or had mobility issues, it might be a good fit.

overall the community does a good job. there a few issues with the communication I think they are doing good during the pandemic. The community is clean and neat and the staff is so friendly and my loved one really like the staff. I would recommend this community to others

I chose Wellington at Hershey's Mill because it had the space I needed for the money involved and it is in the same location where I used to live. I also talked to a lot of people and they were happy and I thought I would give it a shot and it turned out fine. They were having an end of year deal and I was able to get a 2 bedroom 2 bath apartment for a good price. The food here is really good, they are chef prepared meals. They have a form to fill out and I fill it out what I would like to eat and put the form in a basket. They have a ton of variety and every meal I have had has been just wonderful, you can either get it take out or eat in the dining room. The dining room has a dress code and you cannot wear any denim. They are going through some administrative changes at the moment and when I first moved it I kind of had to figure everything out myself because they do not provide instructions so I think that would be helpful to have.

They're pretty helpful for the most part, and they keep in touch with you. I have nothing bad to say about them, except perhaps that they let my loved one pull the wool over their eyes sometimes. She keeps getting them to put her in an ambulance and take her the hospital. She has a medical condition where sometimes she just doesn't feel well, and she doesn't understand that. But then again, I'd rather they be cautious if something truly life threatening were to be going on with her. The staff are friendly and seem to be knowledgeable. They tend to keep things clean, but sometimes they don't take her laundry to be done as quickly as I would like. But overall I would definitely recommend them to others.

I know it is well run. This is a larger community. It didn't fit what we needed for our loved one.

The community is generally a good place. the communication is good between the staff and our family. They keep us well informed and return calls back in a timely manner. I would recommend this community to others based on my experience.

We toured the community and the facility was very nice. The tour was good and the staff was very friendly. The only issue we had was the pricing was out of our range and the community was not pet friendly.

The Club looked like a fantastic place. It was brand new, and the apartments were fantastic. The people there were very nice for the brief time that we met them, and the apartment they showed us was beautiful. We picked a different community because it felt a lot cozier. We didn't experience anything negative at The Club. We just had a stronger preference for another place. Sometimes you just go with your gut. If somebody asked me, I would say definitely come check out The Club. It all depends on where you feel your loved one will be most comfortable.

Great Independent community - lovely apartments, lots to do. There is an aide service that is available at additional cost to assist residents with slightly higher needs. Willing to accommodate mom's unique needs.

The environment is beautiful. You almost feel like you're in a luxury hotel. The cleanliness was good. There was never any urine smell. They kept my frined very clean. The cost, however, and I guest his is becauseitis such a nice, well kept beautiful palce, is kind of prohibitive to regular individuals. But that is really teh only thing I could say isn't top marks - is the cost. The staff were pleasant, alsways smiling, very welcoming, very concerned about the resients. They got to know the residents and treated them as family. Sometimes my freind had to wait a little bit when she called for assistance, but it was defintiely not all the time. Just on occasion. OVerlall, the care and the response was pretty good.
