While no place is perfect, it's been a good choice for her.My loved one wanted to stay in Uniontown near family and have her own space. Marquis provides those things and has a comfortable quiet environment. The activities the facility provides is a nice bonus. We also like the system they have where cost is based on level of care the resident needs.

I've been telling lots of people how great The Breakers at Edgewater Beach is for independent living. I especially like the great location and views of the lake.

So far so good. We picked this community, because my loved one needed more than she was getting and it was close. Very nice place. She in Memory Care at Addington Place.

I toured with North Shore Place in Northbrook and it was a good tour experience. The drawbacks for us were the large size of the facility and it was more expensive than others we looked at. It was a very nice place though! The size would be good for a more active senior, but that is not my mom.

I toured with The Sheridan at Park Ridge and it seemed like a very, very nice place, but the only drawbacks were the facility was very big and it was more expensive. I think the size may have been an advantage for a very social or active person, but that is not my mom.

Based on our families experience, we were frustrated that all the required paperwork had to be completed by hand rather than a word doc to edit. There were a lot of duplicate questions on many different forms. It was also frustrating that we could not get our loved one moved in on the weekend. We would have loved it if we could have rented the furniture from them or a partner. However, everyone was incredibly friendly, nice and caring. We would highly recommend.

I would recommend to other families. We picked this community because of the value for cost, and location. It's good value for cost, adequate services, and personnel is good quality.

Facility is clean. Management is responsive to concerns, however nothing changes. Staff is friendly. Better than other facilities with respect to nursing care.

We picked this community, because of the location and family is a resident there already. It's average for long term care. Staff is nice, receptive and mother says the food is pretty good. I really don't have anything negative to say about the place.

[name removed] did a great job about convincing my parents to move in to this facility. The main reason they chose Wellington at Hershey's Mill is because the rooms were bigger and the amenities are nice. I would highly recommend them to others looking.

The memory care was a locked ward. It had more of a clinical atmosphere and much less light without a central courtyard. We ended up choosing a different community.

It was very welcoming and had a good location for us. Initially, they seemed perfect. We have to check up on things quite often to make sure our loved one is getting the care and attention she needs. On the other hand, they have been very quick to fix the problems and have quite a lot on their plate. They do still seem to be the best choice for our loved one, but it isn't perfect.

It's a brand new building, up to date facilities, view of the marina, easy walk to the beach, couple of restaurants within walking distance, and 0.5 mile to HRT public transportation. Flexible choice of meal plan, not locked into having to pay for fixed meal plan, residents can dine and charge without having to subscribe to meal plan, daily nutritious continental breakfast without extra charge. Cook breakfast available for a charge ($5-$7). Three large elevators, beautiful theatre, indoor pool for water aerobics, and gym for exercises & yoga. Bar area for residents to socialize. Frequent visiting artists to perform for residents in the theater. U-Tube movies in the theater for residents. Assistant Living building adjacent to the Independent Living building in the process of being built, ready in 2024 for residents who need more care to move into. 24 hours concierge's services. Night concierge check on residents with special needs like heart problems, several times in the night. An outdoor pool to be built situated by the marina. (Expect to be ready in late 2024.) Residents can join (with fee) as members.

The maintenance team has been good at fulfilling any requests. The meal prices compared to the portions is higher, than I think should be charged. They have a good continental breakfast for the residents. The residents have the ability to cook in their apartments, as there is a full kitchen in the apartment. The community provides a shuttle for the residents to use for appointments and more within a 10 mile radius of the community. It would be nice to have the ability to go into Downtown Norfolk for residents to be able to see specialty doctors. The pricing is more than I thought it would be, and I would make sure that you are able to afford all the costs. The Activities Director quit on the spot, and there was supposed to be a new Activities Director coming into the community, but haven't seen them yet. [name removed] is a real jewel for the residents and community. Also it would be nice to have the community listen to the resident's ideas for field trips, activities, and changes within the community.

My family and loved one have had a good experience with the community. The community is clean. Everyone is friendly here. They provide transportation for doctor visits, and the staff can assist with medication management for the residents. Overall, we would recommend the community to others for their loved ones.

My mom is a resident at Brookdale Lisle. My ratings are for Assisted Living. My ratings for Care Services, Staff, Activities, and Value for Cost could easily go to a 4 rating if the facility wasn't so reliant on Agency Staffing. Some Agency employees have been marvelous, caring, committed, compassionate, and competent. Others have been much less so. Also, Brookdale Lisle would benefit substantially increasing weekend activities, especially for Assisted Living residents!

They're very good to my father. I can't answer all the questions because I know nothing about the food or other things as I am away when I put him into respite care. From what I can tell, they take excellent care of him and I would recommend them to others.

My loved likes the food. We picked this community because it was convient/close, and the completeness of the living options. They can improve on the communication with the move-in process. Other than that, everything worked out fine. My loved one likes the community, and has settled in. Overall, I would recommend to other families.

Courtyard Fountains was ok but the assisted living facility was old and looks run down. They are going to remodel that area. The people I spoke to were very nice and informative.

Our loved ones only complaint is the meals and our loved one is not engaged in the activities fully. However what we really like about Camellia Walk is the experienced staff and we would recommend the community to other families based on the experience we have had so far.
