They were kind and caring until the end. They need to offer more nutritious options customized for the persons special needs.

Addington Place was a saving grace for my mother. She was in their assisted living facility for 4 years, before moving her out of the area. Healthcare staff works very hard at keeping residents comfortable and healthy. The resident services director, Bernie, is always available and supportive for any needs or concerns we had for mom. The only reason for 4 stars is the dining fell short of expectations the last year she was there. Room service was needed, for health reasons, and multiple times she did not receive a meal or she was unable to eat what was given to her. I give 5 stars to all staff members from daily household service, transportation, reception, and to healthcare staff.

Our dad has been living at Addington Place since 2021. The care and compassion he receives are excellent. Our dad enjoys the food, the activities and staff. We always feel secure knowing that he is well taken care of and treated like a family member by all of the Addington Place staff.

Most people I know think living here is fine but we are too isolated. We are sitting on top of a hill which few can climb. There is very little outdoor walking space There are trips to theatre but most shuttle trips are for medical reasons There are many card games, two movies a day, Sundays people can get rides to church .On Saturday mornings a bus takes people to a super market. we have a great library and book club

I would not recommend. The director of memory care was the reason we left. He was insensitive and self righteous.

The staff at Addington Place of Clarkston have been great!

everything is great at Addington Place of John's Creek community and based on the experience we have had so far, we would recommend this community to other families who may need a place for their loved ones.

The new director in memory care is very caring and appears to be looking to change things for the better.

I would recommend this facility to others. The staff is always upbeat and helpful. The housekeeping is great. My apartment is cleaned once a week and left sparkling. The woman who cleans is wonderful - accommodating and efficient. The meals could be better, the vegetables are over cooked

The layout of the facility is outstanding- the best we have seen. Rooms well designed and central courtyard and common spaces also well designed. Last but not least, the loving care shown to my mother was outstanding.

Services seemed great in the Id pendent area but in the heavy care area it was not as pleasant: staff were often rude and it felt as though residents were just abandoned in front of the tv

ED is great. Experienced, and compassionate. The ED and the head nurse met with us and inspired a lot of confidence. Unfortunately, the head nurse has since left and I have some concerns until she is replaced.

Overall touring experience with [name removed] was good. However when dealing with other staff members, I felt rushed like they just wanted to close the deal....however, they must be understaffed. It is clean, and decorated nicely, grounds are lovely. For quality of care, not good. We have used the on-site pay by the half area services and so little is explained to you. Rushed, no pleasantries, I'm thinking of getting an outside service. Meals have plenty of variety and dining room staff is very nice. Not sure, no introduction, and no new resident coordinator. I feel like I'm living there to get parents acclimated.

My loved one is currently a resident at Copper Springs Senior Living and overall her experience has been good so far. She is in the Memory Care unit and the staff have been wonderful. The housekeeping is great. The move in process was easy. The only issue we have had is the lack of internet to the Memory Care unit. Since they are not as mobile, watching tv or listening to music has been important. Unfortunately, our calls to management have really gone no where. Other than that, it has been a great place!

The community is nice as far as residents and most of the staff. The evening staff could be a little more attentive. One flaw is that they hire inexperienced non train people from outside with no formal training in health or aide service. They also need more coverage and support from their newly acquired upper management. I think the director [name removed] really tries hard but she is over whelmed and should have more staff.

It’s a great place for active seniors. We picked this community because of the location and services. The interaction/communication with the staff has been good.

The number 4 on the first question was given because we received conflicting information between [name removed], [name removed] the nurse and [name removed] the Assisted Living director. You would think that they work in the same facility so they should be able to answer give us a straight answer to our questions. It was a bit frustrating, their lack of knowledge with their own procedures. That being said, everyone was friendly, caring, the place was immaculate, the food was amazing. Our main issue was with upper management. They were also very friendly but a little clueless with the issues we needed help with. I would still recommend them to someone looking for an independent/assisted living facility. I just hope management gets their stuff straight with the things we had asked about but were told different answers from the 3 ladies I mentioned. We were given 3 different answers about what would be needed to move my MIL to assisted living, whether or not a TB test would be needed and if so, how to go about getting it done and where. It made an unfamiliar situation frustrating with their apparent lack of information, knowledge and experience when we needed their help.

We picked this community, because location was the main factor. Also, liked the facility. We've been very happy with the accommodations. Rooms are spacious and adequately equipped. The staff is attentive and caring. Food is great. Activities are above average. I wish the memory care floor was first floor so my loved one could walk outside. I'm also slightly disappointed in the cleaning of rooms as my loved one's furniture is often dusty.

I found the biggest help, was to be kind, polite, and communicative with staff. I tried to understand when they had shortages, or were stressed, and I tried to help when I could, for example feeding my mom during meal times if I could be there, rather than just leaving all of the residents to staff to take care of. We never had any major issues, we were always welcomed, and we developed good relationships with all the staff. I know not everyone was a dedicated worker, but we paid close attention to my mom's care, and staff was always receptive to our requests or questions. I would recommend this facility to others with the caveat that at any facility, you must be attentive to care and be aware of what is happening within the staff as much as possible. While my mom was at Addington Place, they went through a management change, which changed a lot of things. It is important to realize you still have to be an advocate for your parent when they are in a care facility. The more present you are the better care they will receive. I believe this is true at any facility.
