They've all been very helpful and supportive.

The staff has been excellent and the food has been very good. I have been very impressed with how well she has settled in. A lot of that is due to the way she has been treated by everyone there.

It was a very nice facility everything the activities it was very clean even on the memory care unit where I know that a lot of the patients might have incontinence and you know mess theyself it was very clean you couldn't smell anything but a light light scent of urine but at the same time they fed her very well the only thing that I had a problem with was her personal care They told me that they would do her hair they did not they did not grease it She was there for almost 3 weeks and she had the same hairdo in her hair that she had when she got there and that was something I was very displeased with if you're going to have a facility open to Caucasian and African American people then you should also have someone on staff that knows how to take care of African American hair My mother's hair was hideous when I brought her home and I did not appreciate that

The facility is very nice and clean. The staff are wonderful and caring. They have become family to us. I know my parents are safe, cared for and loved. I would recommend Addington to anyone looking for a top notch facility.

They are kind and attentive to the residents. She enjoys the activities and the food. We are very grateful for them and are happy with our choice of Addington place.

Good value for the money especially in Chicago area two meals a day are included in your rent a maid comes in once a week there's a lot of activities to do they have bus trips at least three or four times a week to different shopping areas post office library people are very nice very friendly the down things are they're only four elevators for over 400 apartments and sometimes it's a very very long wait also they have a tendency to nickel and dime you about things if you need done around your apartment light bulbs changing shower heads hanging pictures cleaning your blinds oven or refrigerator it's all extra which is fine I'm just telling people you know and they don't always complete it as quickly as you'd like but all in all it's a really good play they have parking if you drive very happy.

My aunt was in need of light support, independence and community and she got all three at Edgewater! She is hardly ever in her apartment. She made friends the first day and only has great things to say. She says the food is delicious too. This is the happiest she has been in a while. [name removed] is amazing!!!

I would rate a 5 in all categories. My family member was able to return home after her care there. Everyone is so caring, admin staff and aides

1-7 all 5s! It's an amazing place. Truly. I am so grateful to [name removed] for having that on the "Stuart" area list I had asked her for. As far as value, you get what you pay for, thus all the 5s. However, it is pricey at the very top & a bit over the budget.

Activities - I could not assess. By the time my wife went to Addington Place she had completely withdrawn into herself Addington Place was a very good value for the money. My wife was receiving hospice and they and the Addington Place were a good team. I recommend it whole heartedly You do have to provide incontinence supplies and specialized equipment like a Hoyer Lift. Hospice provided that. The only ongoing cost is for the incontinence supplies

The staff is very friendly, the activities are great. Administration seems to have a lot of turnover, leading to frequent changes in policies, but they seem to listen to their residents for the most part.

I recently needed a place to continue to recuperate after an accident and before I was ready to be home on my own. The staff was very accommodating , I had access to o.t. and p.t. therapy and I had a private room and bath. The place is well maintained and clean. There is a dining room, a main gathering area, a private room for parties and several small areas for doing puzzles, reading or just relaxing, as well as an inner courtyard for outdoor activities. Since I was only there for about 4 weeks, they furnished a room for me, too. Everyone was pleasant and caring. Everyone wears a button to push if they need help and you never had to wait too long. The food was good and nutritious with various choices for each meal. There are numerous activities to join if you wish and fun things to do. My stay there was very pleasant and they even got me to a local appointment. The residents were well taken care of and enjoyed family visits and outings as they wished. It was overall very nice.

Everyone I have interacted with has been really nice. I would recommend The Woodmark at Uptown to others who are looking for memory care for their loved ones.

It's not too large and staff knows everyone. Also the facility is square around a courtyard, very secure.

I cannot speak highly enough of my experience with Park Creek Place, particularly their Memory Care residence. My father, who lives with dementia, was a resident there for over nine months. From the moment he arrived, the level of care and compassion he received was exceptional, providing immense peace of mind for our family. The facility is clean and bright, with lots of natural light. Residents meet for activities in a recreation of a classic, traditional New England town square. The entire staff in the Memory Care building is simply fantastic. They are highly trained in caring for residents with dementia, and approach their work with kindness, attentiveness, and genuine compassion. They always ensured my father was well-cared for, comfortable, and engaged. A special mention must go to their Executive Director, [name removed]. Her dedication, professionalism, and personal touch were unparalleled, making a significant difference in my father's well-being and our overall experience.

The facility is Excellent! The administration team is very responsive and gets to know the residents personally. The food, per my mom, is so good. The nursing team is kind and attentive. The activity program is also very good!!!
