This is a very nice facility! It's got a great atmosphere, and came highly recommended to us from multiple sources, from A Place For Mom, our dcotor, as well as church friends. Overall I think they do a good job here. The head nurse in particular is great to work with, and does her job very efficiently.

We had our loved in this community for a temporary stay, and we were pleased with the service. They kept it very clean, and the staff were always friendly. They were good about communication, and always made time to address any concerns we had. And just to note: I have had some interactions with the community since we used them, and they have had some staff turnover recently, so there are many new employees that I have not met.

This is a nice place overall, it is very clean, and the staff are very friendly in general. What really cemented my decision was that this place offers a level of care between assisted living and skilled nursing that was exactly what we were looking for for my loved one, and is not offered in many other locations. One issue I have is that recently they've started a program where they rotate the caregivers through the different levels of care and I would much rather my loved one be able to work with the same people on a regular basis.

We've had a good experience with the community so far! It's nice looking, and very clean, and the staff have all been friendly. When we toured we really liked the look of the rooms. One feature that was great is that every bathroom in the building is handicapped/wheelchair accessible. I was amazed when I was touring communities how few accessible bathrooms some places have! Our loved one has complained a few times that the response times for her in-room call button have been slow, but we haven't been able to verify.

It's a nice place and location is ideal but Stacy felt that we didn't quit fit due to D's needs.

We really liked the look of this place when we were looking into options for Mom. We know Mom would have a difficult time transitioning to assisted living, but this place was very nice looking and we feel like it would have worked out well. We selected another community, but this one was definitely in our top 3.

My sister took my dad for a visit and was really impressed with amenities and environment. Very positive.

I like that the staff was friendly and that they kept the place very clean. It's a relatively new facility so I like that because it's nice and clean. There are a few ways they could improve. They really need to have a few more staff members. Also they could have a better communication level between the administration and those of us who are trying to take care of our loved ones. I think those are the main things.

It was very nice and beautiful but my mother was not med compliant at that time so they weren't able to take her in their independent living. I’m sure they would have taken her in the assisted living but that was very expensive. Even more so than where she is living now. If you've got the money Allegro is a beautiful place.

My mom is in the place and she's adapted. It's very comfortable, she likes the food, and she's made some good friends. So far she's enjoying where she's at. She's not in to activities but they do have them. It's just not her thing. I think as she develops new friendships and people invite her to go along, her interest in the activities may develop over time. The one thing I am gong to complain about it the cost. She is on a fixed budget. We've only been there a few months and I just got a letter saying the rent is going to be increased. When I signed the lease I thought I was locked into that price for a year. It might just be the timing but I think they should accommodate people based on their income because we may need to move her if the rent keeps going up.

I had looked at this community previously for my father-in-law. It is lovely. This time I was looking for my father, and due to his health we thought he would be better in a smaller community.

It was beautiful, for me, I'm in my 40's and I was like oh my gosh it's got a pool, it's got all of these things, their dining room was very nice, it looked like an upscale type of restaurant, but my mom didn't want all the bells and whistles. It was larger so it did have a bit more of the corporate feel, but it is beaituful. Because of all the beauty and all the bells and whistels it was outside of my moms price range.

My mother utilized the respite care services. She was provided with a clean comfortable monitored place to recover from her surgery.

This was beautiful, but there were a lot of steps and my dad had been on a walker, unsteadily, and he ended up breaking his arm where he was before so he was in a wheelchair. They had ramps but with the steps we were afraid of him falling. It was nice, but it wasn't right for him.

My mother was there for just two weeks. During the second week they had a stomach bug going around and they had to do a shut in where everybody stayed in their rooms. They were served their meals in their rooms too. My mother never really had a chance to get involved or participate. It wasn't your normal respite stay. The cleanliness seemed to be very good and they staff was friendly. All in all everything that they did was fine. I thought it was a beautiful place. I thought it was a good place to be, just under our circumsances it was difficult. My mother was in a negative frame of mind.

Currently under renovation. High rise. Only 4 one BR units in assisted living. Approx. 500 sq ft for 1BR. Highest rates so far. Not much parking. Common areas all on first floor, except for assisted living dining. Chef reports to resident food committee, seem attentive to resident feedback and requests in all areas. Has chair rail to hang on to in halls. Estimate 1 yr wait list.

The staff is dressed informal, but its a young staff and they have a middle aged person supervising them, but they seem to be doing alright. I've had a few issues but very minor ones liek we don't see too much in the laundry basket, they wash it once a week but it seems a couple times we saw her wearing the same clothes for 4 days; shes kind of stubborn so they probably listened to her, but little by little I'm working with that. They're totally receptive and accomodating. They take her out to lunch more than she did at the other place, they take them in the garden, there's always something going on, either someone reading a book to them or a musician. She loves it and that was part of the thing, she eats 3 meals a day, they feed her too good. It's a secured unit, it's a part of their assisted living, but its a memory unit and its a secured area.

Currently this facility was most liked by my father. We visited the facility on Wednesday Aug. 21st. Joan was very accomodating. They had a very inviting lobby area with comfortable seating. They had restaurant style dining which was a plus as well as room service. There was a lot of energy in the place, and a greater mix of men and women. This facility can also offer all levels of care. They were the only ones that had laundry in the unit. They also offered outdoor, and stand alone garage parking. The fitness room was fairly well appointed, but it was also located in what seemed to be the back of the house area which was not as inviting. They also had a odd detail of running the carpet from the bedroom or hall of the unit into the bathrooms part way to be in front of the sink. Spills happen most commonly around the sink area and having an absorptive material seemed out of place. This is also one of the priciest places we have seen. My father will not consider a place that has a buy in set up, but this was higher than all the others. Overall though this was one of the better places we have seen.

Liked the location! It's right near my sister's & my gym, so when we finished our tour, I drove on over there for a workout. Why make two trips? I was surprised by how pleasant it looked (& smelled.) Very similar to Mallard Cove. One BIG 2-BR apt had a fine big balcony. Easier to find than Mallard Cove! And a tad more expen$ive. But today's their Day at the Reds game. Exciting! & a plus! Hope weather holds!
