The director was very friendly when we initially toured Heartis, and all of the staff members have been wonderful. The location is great, the amenities are great and new. The price is great for the quality of the community and the quality of the amenities. The staff has made the transition for our loved one very smooth, they have gone above and beyond for our family and have been extremely helpful. We are happy with them.

Heartis San Antonio has been been absolutely amazing. I would give them a 20 on a scale of 1 to 5. I would tell others looking into the facility to not be afraid to move their loved ones here. I wish we would have moved her sooner. She is very happy.

I really liked Elmcroft of Pinecrest. They were in my top two, and I had a hard time deciding. They have a nice walking area, and I really liked the nursing facility, the layout, and all the activities they had. But it felt like many of the other assisted living facilities in the area - they house several different care levels in a big, multi-floor facility with elevators. And I thought that might be more difficult for our loved one with dementia to navigate. We ended up choosing a smaller, homier community that was all on one floor and closer to where we live.

The staff was very friendly and [name removed] who provided the tour, did an excellent job. It was my first experience looking at a facility for my mother and they answered all my questions and made the whole experience very pleasant.

This is an awesome place! The staff are compassionate, caring, and kind to the residents and families. They go above and beyond to love on your loved one. At the time when my loved one was there the community was between chefs. The maintenance team ended up filling in for the chef. Due to this the food wasn't always consistent. They did try to assist my loved one in providing good that they would enjoy.

We toured The Brennity looking for a place for my father. [Name removed] was wonderful and patient in explaining everything and showing us a number of possible apartments. The residents were very friendly and seemed very happy. The facilities were clean and very appealing. We were very impressed and lucky to find an apartment that met my father's needs and was available quite quickly. I'm appreciative that as I leave home hundreds of miles away, my father will be in a wonderful place with welcoming people.

The community looked like a five star resort, with a lot of activities and amenities. The price was out of our budget and that was the downfall.

The food was fantastic. There was one lunch that was spareribs, and a breakfast was a spinach breakfast. My loved one was well cared for. I was pleased with the community. The only concern is sometimes the overnight staff would seem to be a little rough, which is the only negative. The community is beautiful though.

We could not have been more happy than we were with Brentwood Estates. The value is awesome and the staff members here were overly accommodating and friendly. The meals were really good as well, they are chef prepared meals. I would highly recommend to others that are looking.

I have already recommend the community to others for their loved ones. This is a great place to live. The residents receive three meals a day. The staff are caring and will check on your loved one for you.

Not an option for my husband. He does not meet their License Criteria.

We really like the Brayden Park, our loved one is feeling very comfortable there. The community is very clean and everyone there has not only been so friendly to our loved one but to our family as well. They also have top notch care, always on top of everything. Our loved one really enjoys the meals and dining service, they have a regular menu but also another menu you can order off of. They do also offer quite a few activities.

We toured the Brennity and really liked it. It was more uppity and the residents here are active which just did not fit my mom.

Well done all around. One of the few places to have a pool. On the expensive side, but seems to be well worth the cost. One of my top picks for dad, if he wants to spend the money.

The room set ups are convenient and large for my furniture. I like the freedom of the facility and being able to sit out on the large porch with my friends. Plenty of storage for all of my things. Our activities director [name removed] is super talented and helpful.

Great community. All residents nice and helpful. Everything is always clean. Food is good. Feels safe. My family is happy that we chose Prairie Rose.

Prairie rose is an excellent retirement community. Employees are best described as "friends" rather than staff. Food is good and plentiful. Residents are involved in menu choices. Maintenance problems are addressed quickly.

We did a virtual tour with Bellarose and it was a great facility. We did not choose it just due to the location being too far away from family.

We chose Aberdeen Heights because they are an age in place facility, so she can stay here until end of life which is important because we don't want to have to move her if her level of care increases. The rooms here are a good size and are laid out well. All of the staff are long timers which says a lot. They have plenty of activities for residents, every Wednesday they have happy hours, they bring in live music, etc. They do not a lot of variety on the types of foods so they could use some improvement there. I would absolutely recommend to others looking.

The facility in the commons areas are clean, well lighted, and maintained. Facility is also handy cap accessible. House keeping in private area is thorough and professional. The professional staff know how to make you feel very much an individual without offending anyone else. The bottom line is this most all physical facilities and amenities are virtually the same. Staff here is professional yet caring, as a whole. Before staff know how to make you feel like an individual and not just one of the herd.
