Things are going very well with The Brennity, our loved one is really enjoying herself here! The place has a great atmosphere, a friendly staff, and good food! It's a little on the pricey side, but really that's the only negative thing we've heard from her.

Overall our experience with Magnolia Court has been a good one. The staff here is friendly and for the most part do a good job taking care of the residents. I do advise talking to them and making it clear the sort of care that you think works best for your loved one, they're very accommodating and will do a better job when you let them know what you expect.

Everybody was very friendly at The Waterford at Miracle Hills. They made it a very easy process. I do think that the place is more designed for assisted living, not as much for respite care which is what we used them for. That being the case it was not entirely what we expected, but that is not their fault. They were all very nice and seem to be very good at what they are designed to do.

I would recommend The Waterford at Miracle Hills overall. It has been a difficult time dealing with the situation of my mothers health and all, but they have been very friendly and helpful. There have been a few challenges with communication, but other than that for the most part it has been very good. The nursing staff especially are really excellent and they are the ones I am dealing with most of the time.

Overall I think they do a good job at The Clairmont. The staff seem friendly and attentive, and they do a good job taking care of the people who live here. For the most part the community seems clean and well kept, although some of the hallways smell like people have been smoking in them.

We had the privilege to tour this facility with the administrator. Answered all questions we had, lovely place friendly employees. Reasonable prices for AL, 4 levels from 2675.00 to 4150.00. Memory care 2 levels 3550.00 and 4750/ monthly. One time community fee for AL is 1500.00, memory is 2000.00. We are seriously considering this facility.

The Rocky Ridge Retirement Community is a nice place. The cleanliness is excellent. They are good. They are taking good care of my father. The value, care services, and activities are excellent. Everything has been going pretty well. The parking and location is good. The communication with the staff has been good. Overall, it has been a pretty good experience. I would recommend the Rocky Ridge Retirement Community.

The activities are pretty weak and could certainly be improved. Most of it is geared more towards the ladies, not much for the male residents. Our biggest issue though is with the food. Both the quality and the quantity of the food is really lacking. The staff is all very friendly though. They do a great job keeping my fathers room clean, doing his laundry, etc. For the most part they do a good job, but certainly some room for improvement with the activities and fod.

The Holiday in Tyler was pretty nice, and their meal service was quick, the residents didn't have to wait too long for their meals. They were pretty good, I would give them a four out of five.

They are friendly, very knowledgeable, and very helpful. They are new so they have some kinks to work out, but they are very available to help out with those. They just hired a new activity director, so they really haven't had that many activities. I really like them, it's very nice and clean and my mother likes it too.

Everything with Orchard Park Murphy is pretty good. It is a very clean facility and the clean my room once a week. All the staff is very friendly also. Most everybody here is very happy. Every once in a while they will have a meal I don't care for too much, but usually the food is good. Overall I enjoy it here.

My mom lived here between November 2013 and May 2014. Although she needed Assisted Living she was resistant to that idea. She agreed to this Independent living community which offered AL services such as medication management, which she received. Sue (Director of Personalized Living) was the most helpful and accommodating person I've met who worked in any facility my mom has been in. She understood my mom's needs and addressed my concerns long distance, and frequently went above and beyond to help my mom. The dining room was nice, meals seemed good - Mom was happy with them. Housekeeping was OK, the bathroom needed some extra cleaning when we moved in. They have nice set ups with a small kitchen if you need/want. Laundry in the rooms. We also bought the furniture which was set up in the sample room, which made move in easy. Only disappointment was the physical therapy. Apparently her Medicare allotment was totally used between the months of March and May which seems a bit much. At my mom's next facility I had to pay out of pocket for physical therapy. I never did receive documentation of these visits. Sadly, Mom had to leave due to requiring a higher level of care. This was a nice little place with some very caring folks working there.

It's a little pricey. There are a lot of added charges, medication charges, laundry charges, that kind of thing. The care has been very good. She likes it there, she likes the people. They haven't really gone anywhere that she wants to go yet, but they have activities onsite that she likes. She likes the food, and the choices, and she has a little kitchenette if she doesn't want to go down from time to time.

They have been fine. There have no major concerns or complaints at this time. I would give them a four out of five. They have been doing a pretty good job so far.

Overall I'm very pleased with how things have gone at Renaissance of Sherman. The girls here are all really good with Mom, and very easy for me to work with as well. The facility itself is clean and well kept. My only issue is I've been having a little trouble getting them to update Mom's med list when I get a new one to them, other than everything has been great!

It's a nice place, I really like it. The only thing is there are some cockroaches crawling around. Other than that, it's a really nice

Both my parents have lived at The Brennity in Assisted Living (AL) for almost a year, which is not their first AL facility to reside in. What I have learned in all my experiences with facilities (even in 2 different states) is that virtually all of them have handicaps to deal with, mostly thanks to state and federal law requirements out of their control. But I have to say that The Brennity tries to make things as good as they can be for their residents. If it’s who I think it is, I am acquainted with the “unruly resident in the dining room” who was noted by another responder, and know that his unruliness is the result of a stroke (strokes have handicapped many a person in such facilities and affected them in similar or other ways). This “unruly” resident is harmless and the noises he makes are outside of his control and only on occasion--much of of the time he is quiet with distractions like reading or eating. I think it is a bit unreasonable to judge an AL facility by these kinds of harmless behaviors, as many residents in AL facilities have their own issues too. They have seen their better days, and I would say most family members understand this and don’t expect the residents to always act as they did in their younger years. Compassion, and some amount of tolerance and acceptance are necessary in AL facilities. After all, we never know when we ourselves may be in their shoes and may require some extra patience. I’ve learned there’s a thin line between taking good care of those who require more patience, and keeping happy or satisfied others whose patience is lacking. In all, I give kudos to The Brennity and its staff for trying to do what is impossible to be done perfectly—who understand the diversity of the aged and do all within their ability to make life tolerable and comfortable for their residents, each of whom are in different places both mentally and physically.

Our time at Marietta was well worth the effort. Every one of the group liked your facilities. My parents are not in a hurry to move. We have gotten all the papers in order. I just don't like to be the one who has to tell you that it is like 98% that they will not be coming to you all. We were impressed by the way we were treated. Very few places show love and kindness that you is for real. Marcelle was exceptional.

So far I don't have any complaints. I can't read the menu, they don't call it what it is, but for the most part it's okay. Everybody is real friendly. The people that work there, and the people that live there all get along pretty well.

The activities director at Waterview Independent Living is just wonderful. All in all it has been a very positive experience and I would highly recommend them. The staff there is simply wonderful.
