I thought they did a great job overall at Prairie Rose, but unfortunately it just wasn't a good match for what my loved one needed. The people here were as nice as could be, the facility was clean and well kept, and the food looked great. However the facility is on the larger side, and it was just too much trouble for my loved one to get to and from her room to meals. But I'd definitely recommend them as being worth a look!

My mom moved in a few months ago and has been quite pleased. When an elderly person moves from independent living to a different situation there will obviously be some adjustments, but my mom (>90) has frequently noted how pleased she is with her apartment, the food, and the staff. I consider us fortunate to have a facility of this quality in a town of this size. 4 stars is high for me. I can't really assess the value because I did not do much comparison. When she first moved in she was only going to be there for a couple of weeks before spending the summer away and then coming back. That created some confusion about getting care services set up for a friend with dementia who moved into the same apartment at the same time. I suspect the process would have been seamless if they weren't moving in only to leave for the summer a few weeks later. Also, she and her friend did not yet have a physician in the area and we did not understand that it is much easier to set up such services once a physician's orders are in place. The activities are not really my mom's kettle of fish, but it seems that others quite enjoy them. I think she would participate more if she wasn't caring (to the extent she can) for her friend with dementia. In summary - very glad she is there.

Mom likes it at The Clairmont. She likes the people. She likes the food. She is pretty happy there. She has no complaints about the facility.

Overall, I think that all the staff members were very good and they were very kind. I think just being a brand new facility though that they just have some bugs that they need to work out in their system.

I think it is a really nice facility, but I think they need to keep a closer eye on the residents. I think the activities are good, but they need to make sure everyone is participating. Overall, I think it is a good place.

The staff members at Cowhorn Creek Estates were all just very responsive to any and all questions that I had that came up and they really tried to make my loved one feel like this is her new home, which was good.

Overall my experience with Bridgeport Campus has been a good one. It's a nice looking place, and the people are friendly. I also like that for every meal they have a few choices for entrees, so you can find something that looks appetizing. The food is pretty good, for the most part.

They love it, here. They love the food, and they love the community. They were comparable in price to my other top pick, and perhaps a little less expensive. We liked the layout here, and that it was a smaller community.

Overall our experience with Cowhorn Creek Estates has been a good one. The staff here is friendly and personable, and they always recognize my family members when we come to visit. They've gotten to know my loved one and know to check on her when she doesn't come for meals, etc. We did have an incident where they let her wander off, which was disconcerting, but other than that things have gone very well.

My mother says everybody has treated her very, very well. They are very helpful. Whenever she needs anything, there is always someone there, they are very responsive to her needs. The only concern are the meals. For the most part they are okay, but apparently there are some residents, who complain. Overall, it's a very nice place and the staff is very nice.

Friendly & open. Great place for someone that required little or no care.

The BRENNITY at Vero Beach our choice for our loved one because of the high standard of care they provide. Also, they treat their residents with respect and dignity! They treat the families of the residents with great communication regarding their loved one. The BRENNITY is a beautiful, clean and home like setting and is very welcoming! The staff and administration do an Awesome job! I highly recommend The BRENNITY of Vero Beach to anyone looking for a wonderful place for their loved one!

We are happy with them so far.

I am satisfied so far with Santa Fe Trails. They have good service here. The food is good. They have people that do her hair too. They have a doctor that comes by that is on call. So she is getting better service here than she was at home. She is actually doing better at this facility than she was before. We are really happy. Cleaning service comes and cleans her room. I don't think it could get much cleaner really. They have games, movie night, sing a longs, and a worship service on Sunday's. It is a smaller facility so they have better service. Everybody know everybody. For me and my wife it was a constant worry while she was home and now that worry is gone.

The front office at Fox Run Estates as far as I'm concerned has gone above and beyond. Jean and Mark have really done everything to try to make mom feel welcome. Mom of course is angry and doesn't want to be there. But that has nothing to do with the facility and what they are doing. Overall it has been a good experience on their part.

We toured Lakestone Terrace and were planning on moving in. Unfortunately my husband did take a turn for the worst and he is now in hospice care. The facility itself was nothing luxurious but it was really homey feeling. It had an excellent exercise facility. I was looking forward to living there. I thought it would be a very comfortable place to be.

Nothing really jumps out at me about the facility. My loved one really wanted to go there and they had a place available for her and so she went there. She seems to be really happy there at Prairie Rose.

I have been pretty pleased. They are in the process of trying to sort out the laundry issues. I would like to see more people, sometimes you have to look for someone, they can be a little short staffed. I see entertainment come in for assisted living, but I'm not sure how that is going on the memory care side. I think there is more entertainment and activity on the assisted side. I think they are a little more expensive, but they are also a little nicer of an environment. I think you get a lot more for privacy as well, it's worth the money. They are pretty friendly. This is the best I have ever seen. Kim Brown is really wonderful at running the memory care. It's cleaner lately than it has been as well.

Mom lived here 15 years ago and felt it was too large a facility for her needs.
