I looked at about 4 others and chose Heartis Arlington because of the cleanliness of the facility and just the overall look. It is also more homey looking and not institutional like some others places I saw. Overall, I am satisfied with our experience, but would tell others to make sure you are your parents eyes and ears.

I visited Heartis on [date removed] and met with [name removed]. The facility is top of my list at this point. Really friendly and attentive staff. The atmosphere is very uplifting and more along the lines of what I think [name removed] would be comfortable with.

We chose Embark at Lake Worth because her friend is here and she recommended it. She also liked what the facility was able to offer. They do have a pool as well as well as a bird cage where she can go down and see them. The meals here are great and they do have a lot of variety when they are able to eat in the dining room. They have a daily menu with choices and if you don't want the specials, you can always order whatever they have and it is chef prepared. They also have an option usually where you can either eat in the dining room or get it delivered for $1. It is an older facility and I think they could use some updates. The services overall are good and I feel safe with having my mom here since there is always someone at the front desk and she cannot just walk out. I would recommend.

The care takers and everyday staff would be a five out of five, and the administrative staff in the beginning when we moved our loved one in would be a five out of five. The first director was outstanding. However, they had to hire a new director and we would rate them about a three out of five. The overall location of the community was the best we have seen, as well as the friendliness of the staff

I have had no issue with the community and before everything was going well. Communication is good especially when it comes to covid. I would recommend this community to others

It's a large community, and they have both assisted living and memory care. The facility is newer and very clean. My only issue was the lack of communication about my mom's condition and how her health was. I would have a weekly update or better communication during covid.

It was a very well run facility, the only issue was the communication from the Dr. on staff. Overall we were happy with the care she received. The room's size was great, and the food was good. I would recommend this community to others.

When touring Memory Care facilities for my Dad with Parkinson's Disease, the Bristol Park at Amarillo was very high on my list! While touring I could tell the staff loved their residents and treated them with dignity and respect.

We chose this facility because he was transferring from another similar facility and it was the same company so he was comfortable with them. The apartment sizes here are a little on the smaller side. My dad is in independent living, and it truly is independent, they do not do much for them. You do have to pay extra for housekeeping, checking in on them, etc. Overall, I would recommend but it is pricey for what you are getting.

I like how everyone at this community is very friendly, and the rooms are okay they are about studio sizes. Some of the meals are good and some of them weren't, but overall it was good. I would recommend this community to others.

We chose Heritage Place over others that we looked into because when you walked in, it felt like a community rather than a nursing home. The room sizes here were good, we were pleased with all the space. We did eat here often and my parents always said the food was great. In the short time my parents were here, we thought it was wonderful.

The biggest thing is that there is alot of turnover at the facility. The rooms are deciently sized, The food is good my dad likes, and they offer a good varity. overall I would recommend this facility to others.

A very nice facility with a large memory care unit. Unfortunately, we think it's too large.

My mother happy and content in this community. the staff is very responsive and open to feedback. Overall we are very happy with them. The room sizes are very nice, she likes the food most of the time. I would recommend this community

The community does charge extra for care services. They changed ownership at the end of our loved one's stay. The new administrator, [name removed], was very kind. He sent flowers, went to my loved one's funeral, and was able to assist in finalizing the process of my loved one's move out. At the beginning Jan was very nice and helpful with the move-in process. The previous day-to-day managers weren't as helpful.

[Date removed] will be my 7th anniversary here at Elmcroft. Those of us who live here are totally blessed to have a staff we consider as friends. Most days, the food is excellent; and always at least good! I am grateful to have such a warm and comfortable community in which I live.

Will be glad when we can have crafts and exercise again.

We chose this community because it was in a better location and it was independent living. The apartment that she is in is the smallest one, and it is really all she needs. They offer different sizes as well. The best part about the facility is the food. It is not just cafeteria food, it is chef prepared meals. We ate with her before COVID and it was very good and fresh, it impressed us quite a bit. I also love that she is able to interact with residents who are like her and she has made friends. I would recommend.

I would tell my friends that my loved one doesn't like the community, but they don't want to move either. Most of the staff my loved one likes. My loved likes the food a lot, but feels it is too heavy of portions at times.

I love living here. I make it nice by being nice to people. Anyway, I try to be nice to others.
