They treat your mother like family, and in this community the members interact with one another very well. The staff is well trained, and this keeps the protocol working properly. Tomball, TX is a very wonderful small town, that has a great many of retire people living there, and The Heritage is right in the middle with all the amenities that one would expect. I would highly recommend your love one to consider this community for their Mom.

It was pretty good there at Bella Vita. I though that they were fantastic. Just very good.

We moved my husband's dad there in July. He just passed away on October 30. The place is awesome. We felt that he was very happy the last few months of his life living there. He had come to make friends and the people there go overboard to make sure that the residents are taken care of and that they are as happy as they can be. It is independent living but they have a company on site called Angel of Mercy that can help when/if needed. For example, we hired them to help with meds and laundry. They will do anything that you need them to do. It is an extra charge but very reasonable. My husband's elderly aunt is taking the apartment that his father vacated. It's that good a place that we want other family members to experience it too.

I really appreciate the help that I got from those at Senior Advisor. The place that we decided on was what we thought just a retirement living center. But they had just started a new program a few days earlier called Catered Living. The home care people that come in are very friendly and my mother just loves having them around! It's one less thing that I have to worry about.

Everyone at Aberdeen Heights was wonderful through the tour and set up stages. Even after Mom took a turn for the worse, they were supportive and helpful. When she died, all the staff was caring and helpful. I am sorry we won't be able to experience the care at Aberdeen, but I expect it is as well rounded and well planned as their entry process. I would recommend this facility very highly for anyone looking for assisted care for a loved one.

I couldn't be happier with this facility and have nothing negative to say about it. It is beautifully decorated inside and is clean and fresh, the building layout is easy to navigate, the facility is located in a lovely and safe residential neighborhood, but is convenient to businesses one might need to frequent for apartment supplies. I am also very impressed with the staff~~they are friendly and polite and take care of their duties with a smile. It can be a little difficult to get in touch with the director by phone because of her busy schedule, but I've seen her in action and know that she is very good with the residents and she pays attention to how and what they are doing. Staff turnover isn't high, and my parents, who have Alzheimer's and dementia, have adjusted now and tell me that they really like it there and are making friends. My favorite thing about this facility is the size of the apartments~~they are much roomier than most of the ones I saw at other facilities.

It's a 3 story, large facility that's more like a Las Vegas hotel. I think it's more appropriate for people under the age of 87 or 88. People who are more mobile and can take advantage of everything they have there. The apartments are beautiful and they have lovely courtyards with trees and foundtains and grass. They have water aerobics - there are a lot of amenities. If she was younger and more able we probably would have chosen them but she's not, she's 100.

They've been fine. I always think those places are too expensive but it's fine and comparable to other places. They do have activities but my dad rufuses to participate in them so I don't know much about them. They have a little gym in there and things like that. I wouldn't really change anything about it from what I've seen.

It seemed really nice - especially the pool - but it was a little more expensive than what we could afford and some other places that we saw.

My mom and I toured half a dozen places. Although my mom did not choose Pinecrest Place we were both very pleased with the community. Beautifully remodeled. Very friendly staff. One extra that wasn't a typical standard was the service of driving my mom to my house and picking her up at my house. What a great added benefit. While this was our second choice, it definitely isn't second rate by any means.

My mom will be moving in on August 1st so we haven't had any experience with the care services yet but they seem to be what we need. It looked like they had quite a few activities like music and going on shopping trips, movie night, games, and crafts. One thing we really like is that it has some outdoor space on the unit. My mom really wanted somewhere where she could sit and get some fresh air. There's pretty landscaping but not at all fake and a walkway around the whole facility. It's near Lake Waco. It reminded us of an old fashioned hotel and she liked that feel. It's charming and elegant, maybe a little tattered around the edges but still very nice. We thought the price was reasonable for what they had to offer. The unit my mother chose was just over $2000 a month.

The staff knows what they are doing and knows how to care for the elderly. They have activities going during the afternoons that get everyone involved. I chose this for my mother because it has the homey feeling and it is only one level so there are no steps or elevators. My mother says the cooking is like home. The staffs know everyones names and greet you by name basis.

Beautiful facility, clean, lots of activities going on. Very large with different wings, nicely laid out.

The Westmore is a hidden gem. They don't have a huge online presence and I feel like it would not have been possible to find them without A Place for Mom. They cared very well for my grandfather in his final months and I am thankful that we were able to put him in a place where he was cared for

The service in the cafeteria is slow.

It started out good, but then they lost their Dining Room Manager, Chef, and several good servers. Food quality diminished and wait times for being served greatly increased. Most management is fairly new and inexperienced, but they do seem to care and try. Med Techs seem nice and competent. Billing is unnecessarily difficult for residents and even their families to understand, and could be clearer. The Concierges are all nice and really try to help. It just seems like the Harrison is understaffed, especially in the dining room and kitchen at this time. We hope the quality of food and quantity of kitchen and serving staff increases. It is a pretty place with so much potential.

But things got a lot better after the headquarters hired a manger. He fired the cook and I heard a happy tenant said he got great omelets now. It's in pretty good shape now after they got a smart man to run the place. I hope they fixed the security door.

There is a new staff and new safety measures. As well as having finished remodeling. The place is always clean and staff friendly. A little more food variety would be nice but overall good. They are raising prices every year which may price us out.

I have trouble getting in and out of the parking lot sometimes, especially when it get's crowded. It seems like the spaces are small. Our aunt is happy there, except she was promised a fix clearing her windows up that are foggy in between the panes and hard to see out of, but it's not happened. But it's been a general good experience

Rather expensive for that size cottage on two floors. Don’t like carpet on stairs. Otherwise cottage was nice size.
