I like the interior design and exterior design of the facility. Most of the care givers seems to be very happy doing their jobs. The administrators and managers seem to care about what their doing. They also seem to be caring of their clients.

My Mom is a resident at The Windcrest on Van Dorn and really enjoys being there. I have eaten there myself and the food is very good. The dining staff seems very well organized. They have a separate dining area for when family visits. There is a wide variety of food and a regular and special menu. It appears that they are properly staffed and no issues have come up. The residents wear safety pendants and calls are answered promptly. They do go on outings and the only complaint I may have is there is only room for one wheelchair patient and it fills up quickly. Overall I am impressed with this community and the staff!

This is one of the greatest places I seen in Fla. The staff is great Nancy is one of the best asset they have. She really cares about the people that live there. You cannot get any better then this place Great Job guys My mother is so happy there. People really care about each other and the people that live there are always smiling and friendly

We are very happy with it so far. We are very satisfied. There is a soup everyday, and most of the time it is very good. I like that we have two and half hour meal. We have a washer and dryer in our apartment so we don't have to fight for a spot. We have a very nice porch. It has worked out quite well.

So far things have gone well but with recent changes Mom will be making use of the transportation services provided. So I'm really hoping that will be sufficient for her needs. Mom is happy with the apartment in the independent living section and she likes the food. There is a nice variety.

My husband, [removed], and I came here on Feb. 18th and we love it. We like our apartment; the staff is wonderful: caring, efficient, and friendly; and the food is delicious. Happy hours with musicians are most enjoyable. We are pleased at having chosen Aberdeen as our home.

I am very pleased overall with the facility and staff. My father seems very content (as content as an Alzheimer's patient can be). It is a pleasure to visit him. The environment is excellent. I do wish they had more activities to keep him engaged.

My Mom moved into The Waterford at the end of December 2014 and is very happy here. There are many activities for her to choose from, the meal variety is great and she enjoys eating with her table mates. The staff is friendly and the management encourages and listens to feedback. I feel confident that she is in a safe, welcoming environment and am very pleased with her choice of living arrangements. My siblings visit her regularly and have had only good things to say.

Wonderful environment and facility to maintain quality of life in difficult circumstances. Staff are cheerful and experienced with dementia patients.

We toured this community while looking into care options for a loved one. I really liked that the medications were kept in the patients room. Really clean atmosphere. I really felt like Sue, the director, was more concerned about my parents getting into the right place than getting into her community. The rooms were a little small, though.

It has been an excellent program for my mom. Since she has Alzheimer's, the transition is could've been really difficult, but they were great about everything. They are very friendly and they work well with us and my mother.

The place is nice, and it's five miles from my house. I see they have activities, but I can't rate them because I don't participate. The food is terrible. For instance, vegetables are limp; look two days old. However, the food is not as bad as it was in the last place where she was. They seem to care about taking care of her; it's a good place. I found the place through someone's reference. When I've had reason to raise an issue or question with them, they've been reasonably responsive.

Our experience with Rocky Ridge began with an enthusiastic and knowledgeable marketing representative. She was both patient and compassionate as we worked as a family to find the best services possible for our parents. The staff was wonderful as family members including our parents visited the facility at various times. The staff has gone over and above what we expected in assisting in the transition for our family. We are very pleased for our parents to be part of the Rocky Ridge family! We are also very pleased with the Assistive Services available in-house! These have been a God-send for us!

Best choice I could have made. Great staff that really enjoy what they do. Angie greeted my mom at the door with the warmest welcome. Great activities. My parents are more active than when they were living at home. I am very pleased and would highly recommend.

My mother moved into Heritage Oaks during May 2014. She went very reluctantly and was resentful that she could no longer live in her house of 64 years. From the first 30 minutes of her arrival, the administrators and care partners came to welcome her. She basked in the attention and before we knew it, she was off to some activity. What had been dreaded was turned into a beautiful beginning. There has been no looking back. Mom is the happiest she's been in ten years. She adores the care partners that help her and she's busy-bingo, dominoes, skip-bo, socials, country drives, movie outings, guest performances, sit n be fit exercises, and on and on. It is so good to get happy phone calls from her. She has made friends and I know that she is eating nutritional meals. A doctor, visiting nurse, and physical therapist visit her regularly and a beauty shop does her hair and nails. A doctor As, for me-I can lay my head on my pillow at night and know that she is being taken care of in a loving, attentive manner and is happy. Any concerns that I've ever had were addressed quickly by the nurse and administrators. I can not speak enough good things about everyone that works at Heritage Oaks and our experiences there.

I was having a very difficult time finding a home for my mom who will be 86 this year that was safe and was affordable. Most of the retirement homes were way out of our financial reach. After talking to Senior Advisor they directed me to Brentwood Estates. I went there the next day and had a apartment the same day. They have been beyond helpful, compassionate and most of all competent. My mom is enjoying herself and is not so lonely. She has a cute home with a nice balcony. She is given three good meals a day, which are good, because I have eaten there. There are so many activities to keep her interested, that she has little time to feel lonely. I feel blessed with the help I received and the place that I found for mom.

We needed to find a place pretty quickly ~ Mindy & Marchelle from Emeritus were there within a couple of hours & both my parents seemed excited! All 5 children do not live nearby so it was important to us to make sure they have help when they need it. I feel like they are an extension of us & will care for mom & dad almost like we do. Am thankful they were there when we needed.

Excellent management. Friendly environment, very welcoming to newcomers. Good food with lots of food choices.

The Brennity at Tradition was a Godsend for me and my 97 year aunt, both before and after she entered assisted living. Shortly after my aunt and I toured the facility, my aunt fell in her driveway and broke her pelvis. Since I live 800 miles away from her and she refused to call the doctor or an ambulance, I asked one of the ladies at the Brennity to go check on her. The head of the facility went to see my aunt , called the ambulance, and stayed at the hospital with her for awhile! I was amazed. They even saved an apartment for my aunt until she got out of rehab. After getting out of rehab, my aunt went into a lovely assisted living apartment there. The staff knew that she was losing her memory, so they always escorted her to the dining room and back. They encouraged her to participate in activities. She was given additional physical therapy and occupational therapy to cope with memory loss - all done on site. The Brennity also has a nurse practitioner, a dentist, and a podiatrist which come there. You can arrange for them to see your loved one for an extra fee. The nurse practitioner stops by every week, and doesn't charge anything unless the patient needs something. After a year there, my aunt turned 98 and was frailer and needed additional help. I put my aunt in hospice care, and she was allowed to stay there in her apartment until her death. The staff was very caring and easy to communicate with. They always answered my phone calls and e-mails promptly. They really made a difference in my aunt's life and mine. I would recommend them to anyone.
