Pruitt was very nice and got us moved in quickly. My mom was on memory care and decline quickly while there. I felt they were short staffed and did not offer any enrichment activities, which I felt lead to her decline . Communication was less than expected. But maybe my expectations were too high

The staff is not consistent. A few of the staff I question how they were eve hired. Upper management sees to be nice but I don't feel my loved one is assisted enough. She pushes the little button to assistance and more times than not it will take 3-8 hours for someone to respond if at night. The food is not the greatest. They feed 60-90 year old adults a diet for a 20 year old. Lots of carbs, fats, and the taste is not always great. If you have a guest stop in you may not be able to dine with them for a meal. There is only enough seating for residents unless someone doesn't come to eat during that meal. Medications are not given on time. The payment amount is reasonable but if it was up to me I'd relocate my loved on.

Positives: Wide variety of engaging activities. Delicious and satisfying food. Negatives: High staff turnover can affect service consistency. Occasional missing laundry items. Suite cleaning could be improved.

The staff are friendly and the facility is clean. There is a high turnover of nursing staff. We had an experience of mismanagement of medication administration. The communication about medication refills are delayed.

They had no onboarding process, housekeeping is severely understaffed, never see the director around, meal ordering is unorganized. They have attempted some improvements. I will say the size of the space for the price are better than most. It's just been very difficult to acclimate.

My daughter says that the facility smelled like urine! The staff seemed nice. My sister didn't like the food very much. She didn't stay long enough to experience any activities that might have been offered. That is about all I can say.

I think the staff at PruittPlace Buckhead tries hard - they have good attitudes and care about the residents. However, the overall staffing levels are low and have gotten worse. Also, there's a lot of cost cutting and belt tightening which seems excessive given the price point. I would not recommend PruittPlace Buckhead to someone new.

The staff at The Oaks Carrollton was very friendly and helpful. However, they are severely understaffed and the quality of care suffers because of this. Unfortunately, my family member became very sick at the facility and had to be hospitalized for over a month and then moved to full-time nursing home care. There was an extreme amount of turnover of the staff due to lack of staffing. The food was okay. The housekeeping in the rooms has suffered because of lack of staff. Again, the staff was very friendly and communicated needs and issues. They are just understaffed, which resulted in sometimes lack of care.

It is ok but could be better. It has good days and bad. I do not visit every day as husband does; but each time i have visited I find his bathroom needed cleaning. Staff is very friendly. The staff I have met are very cordial, give updates etc. Need more like them. Seems like CC is under staffed to me on the Floor and in Office. It could be better. He is either watching tv or looking out his window. He shouldn't be allowed to say no for certain things, just because it's convenient. He participates in all the things he can. He likes his meals. Especially desert! He does what he can. We take him when family comes. I think on a whole for what we pay he should be getting better/more. . .I don't see a justification for an increase at this time. Having said all that I realize CC is a business and 2020 changed the world; but it's also the lives of our beloved elderly family members which some have out lived or have no memories of those they love. We just want their finally days to be consistent and filled with grace, peace and love.

Do to a staffing issue, another member of management did the tour for us. Certainly adequate and informative nonetheless. The outside grounds were nice, overall activity rooms and dining areas looked adequate as well. Only problem was that there were no available rooms at this time to meet our needs, only small units were available. Otherwise, would have inquired more about faculty.

The financial person REFUSES to call me back or communicate with me. The care that was promised is different than what my loved one receives. Either the staff is not trained well or they ignore what they're supposed to do. They've just recently been bought by Pruitt, so who knows what will happen. I would not recommend the facility to others.

We like the facility location, the nice building, and his room. When food is delivered to his room it is cold. They need hot plate covers like memory care has instead just plastic wrap. Understaffed OR the staff takes too many breaks OR spends too much time playing on their cellphone. My dad presses his button and waits over an hour for someone to come help him. They need cameras in the common areas and the nurses stations for accountability. When dad qualifies for VA aid and attendance, then he may be able to afford [name removed].

Our family had an in person tour with Forest Heights and the reason we gave the 3 stars is because they were renovating but we did not see any residents or employees out and about.

Dad got sick, a virus, which could happen to anyone. As he had diarrhea for 5 hours, I was cleaning and caring for him. I am not sure why no one helped me, except to bring me gloves and bath sheets. He was so sick he had to be transported to ER. He was in hospital 6 days. He did not want to go back!!!!!

This review is strictly for the memory care unit at The Colonnade. The scores I think would be much higher if she had been in assisted living as planned. [name removed] and head of nursing services were excellent as was [name removed].

My loved one wasn't happy here, as there were times my loved one's trash or laundry wasn't being pick up. The food wasn't as good as my loved one would have hoped for. There could have been more attention to detail in preparing the menu. The staff communication was good with the family and our loved one when we had questions.

My husband was at the Colonnade because he has dementia and could not be left alone at home. I had gone to the hospital, was sent to rehab where I got COVID, went back to the hospital, then to a lock-down COVID ward, then back to the first rehab "to be discharged". When I got there, they wouldn't let me leave. I sat in the lobby for two days to put pressure on them to sign the papers so that I could leave. During this, the absolute worst month and a half of my life, I was dehumanized, screamed at by CNA's (they screamed at everyone), treated as less than human, left in a room with no call button (I was told by the CNA and the nurse to "yell"), and a toilet that had overflown in the morning and the refuse on the floor was never cleaned up. This is the tip of the iceberg of the horror that was my life during that time. This is the reason why I "failed to give the Colonnade 30-days notice" that [name removed] was leaving. It never crossed my mind. I was trying to survive. They have just notified me that I owe them [price removed]. They are making us pay until [date removed] even though we left the Colonnade on [date removed]. They are totally unreasonable. I am perfectly willing to pay for the time that we were there, but not for the time that we were in our own home. I would tell others, "don't go there". They are unfriendly, the upper-staff were very unfriendly and condescending. When I was leaving I was waiting for my ride with wheelchair transport. The director, [name removed], came by and grabbed the footrest off of the wheelchair I was in. It was their wheelchair, but I was waiting to transition into the transport wheelchair. He came by as if I was a thief in the night trying to steal it. He didn't say a word, he just snatched them in a huff. I was so mad, and I told him so in an email. He apologized, but there was no need for that as I was not stealing it. If he would have just asked me, I would have explained that I was waiting for the other wheelchair. They're also trying to make us pay for the time that we were not there and I'm upset about that too. Again, I was in a lock-down Covid ward and I had several risk factors. They wanted me to give a 30-days notice that [name removed] was leaving The Colonnade, and that wasn't the upmost thing on my mind, as I was being dehumanized and receiving the worst treatment. Excuse me if was not thinking about making a phone call during that time. That was upper management, and I have nothing good to say about them. That is what I think about the Colonnade at Beckett Lake.
