We are very pleased with the Sheridan at Laumeier Park. Our mom has lived their for several months and has adjusted better than we anticipated. The staff is great - they know all of the residents and treat them like family. I highly recommend this community should your parents be unable to live on their own!

I have been very happy here. Everyone is very pleasant and caring. It’s like living in an upscale hotel. Food for the most part is very good.

Lovely newly built facility with friendly, helpful staff that made a difficult situation a breeze! Food is wonderful & the staff is making mom feel very welcomed. Transportation available for doctor’s appointments is a huge plus!!!

Unable to tour as of yet. Impressed with the program they have chosen for residential life. Very much personalized to each client.

The meals here are chef prepared and residents get a daily menu that they are able to choose from. I think overall it is a good facility. I love the staff they are very friendly and take good care of my parents, they really make a good effort to be consistent. I do think they could improve the consistency and keeping track of how often my mom is bathed, they could document it to make it easier.

I would recommend the community to others for their loved ones. The community is clean, and nice. The staff are very helpful. The rooms are beautiful. My loved one loves the food. My loved one has only been here for a few weeks.

During this Pandemic the program director [name removed] has each week added things the residents can do in their rooms to keep up moral and give them something to do. The halls have been split in sections and assigned someone to take care for social needs. They do phone and video chats with family at home. The CNA’s are going out of their way to see to residents needs. Their visits to take vitals with a cheerful hello are a lift to spirits. CNA [name removed] will stop and say hello to my husband on her lunch time that is dedication and caring for residents. The staff is always helpful when I call and makes me feel reassured they are taking care of everyone. This Sheridan has done everything possible to protect our loved ones. Thank you staff from the director to the cleaning personnel for taking care of all the residents.

I just love the place! The staff are just fantastic! They are very nice. There are some bugs that we are still working out, such as the fact that their wristband system is experiencing some trouble because they are hard for the residents to work. The meals are also fantastic! It looks just like a restaurant, and they give seconds to residents when they want it. There are also many activities to join in on. Overall, we are very pleased!

Dad is happy there and the staff are great. Staff Rating of 5. The food is about a 3 with some meals higher. I think they need more options if they don't want the main meal. The delivery of his meds is inconsistent. The activities are pretty good. I would recommend unless they're a foodie.

Nice to see improvements in decor & outside of bldg. More people staff needs more acknowledgement & recognition for how good they are.

Mom is doing well at The grande and they check on her every two hours, help her get dressed, showered and get ready for bed. We have had a very good experience with staff. Executive Director [name removed] is very responsive. Care givers need to understand there are staffing issues and turnover at many facilities.

Anytime there's been an issue, they've been happy to try to address it immediately. And over I think they do actually a really good job. Plus he tried to have a lot of activities that benefit both the residents and the family members.

I searched many facilities. This one has a warm feeling and happy people! The apartment layout - more square than a long, narrow room, and carpet are nice features. The staff is friendly and the directors are willing to talk at any time. There has been some employee turnover. I believe it's a betterment. The servers in the dining room have good days and bad. The food is decent. Activities are a little bit light. Don't know if that changes with the seasons. For long term, I was pleased to know residents don't necessarily have to move to the memory care unit. They can stay where they are as long as they don't wander.

My father is been in the hospital. And now things are changing with him, and we're working with the staff there to try and make sure he's okay, and that's about it, they, they're very thoughtful right now

I would recommend. Overall I am happy with the Grande. They are not good at returning calls. I don't live in the state so I can't be there as often as I would like so I count on doing a lot by phone and it can be hard to reach the right person and get return calls. Additionally my dad needs a lot of assistance and had hoped staff would be a little more available for the extra assistance, especially given the cost.

When it comes to the care services, our loved one needs very little at this point. For the meals and dining they are having staffing difficulties but the activities on the other hand are improving. We would recommend this community to other families based on the experience we have had so far.

They were very supportive and caring not only for my mother but also our family as we dealt with her failing health. Based on the experience we had with The Grande at Laumeier Park, we would recommend this community to other families.

I would say it's nice, spacious, friendly, clean, some adjustments but staff have listened to requests. We picked it because of on-site therapy (PT/OT/Speech) and location.

Our loved one is getting good care and rehab services. The only issue we have had so far that has not improved much is they are often very slow to answer the call pendant. My brother in law needs stand by assistance for dressing and toileting. It's common for him to get himself dressed and to the bathroom because it takes a while to get a response. He is paying a hefty additional fee for level 3 care, and we expected it to be more prompt. But overall I would recommend The Grande.

Every place has issues and is not perfect, so don't expect it to be perfection. Working with dementia patients takes a great amount of patience and compassion. I think The Grande is a good place overall.
