AC leadership came in while on vacation to expedite my wife's entry when memory care became essential to safety & security. Over the past year, we have experienced countless incidents of staff going above and beyond typical job requirements to ensure the residents and the facility were well taken care of. Great team work and dedication to helping each other deliver excellent care. All departments are led and staffed by experienced professionals who do their best to make Ac residents and staff feel valued. Front office, nursing, aides, food service and maintenance have been consistently helpful and professional.

The group living experience is new to my husband and me. The 4s above might be 5s if we had more knowledge of such. I loved the home like atmosphere, the attractive outdoor setting, and especially the friendliness of the staff. Items #s 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 probably can't be compared to other places by having just visited. Also, speaking with other residents' families helped decide to choose Arden. Recommendations from Place for Mom also helped in decision. It is a very good place that I do recommend to others.

I would give a 5 for all 7 categories. The director and office staff were pleasant and helpful. They always had time for us if we had a question. They kept Mom clean and changed and the apartment and common rooms were clean and cheery. There was plenty of room for dining and the menu was varied and seemed good. I never found her unattended and the staff were genuinely caring. The large yard with paved walkways was pleasant and provided a chance to enjoy the outdoors and small wildlife ( birds and squirrels). Mom had been a flight risk at her previous assisted living and the security at Arden was excellent. The price was very reasonable since it included room, board, security, and medical care. I did tour 6 facilities before settling on Arden and we were pleased with our choice. Thanks for helping us find a place for our Mom. I should add that Mom wasn't there very long. Only 3 and a half months and her dementia had progressed to where she wasn't interested in many activities, so I can't really speak to that part. She watched a few movies and I took her to the craft room a few times, but that's about it. If she had been there earlier and had been her old self she'd have been involved much more.

Nobody wants to have to place a family member in a facility, but sometimes it becomes necessary. The staff at Arden Courts made this decision a little easier. They have been so patient and kind with my mom, and they have helped provide a much needed break for my dad who was her primary caregiver at home. The facility is small and clean but nothing extravagant. The outdoor courtyard is a comfortable place to visit. My mom seems to have become attached to all of the staff, and they look out for her like their own family.

Arden reached out to us when other places were basically rejecting my 98 year old world war 2 veteran father. The facility was nicely decorated and very comfortable. The staff I observed were very caring. It was such a relief even though my father only lived another couple months. I’m comfortable that he was well treated.

Everyone I worked with at A Place for Mom was very kind and helpful. I would highly recomment them. They helped me through the process of finding a place for my husband. The staff. at the facility are very helpfull and will quickly take care of the things I request them to do,and they take good care of my husband.

I think placing a loved one in memory care is very challenging but the staff at Arden Courts went out of their way to make the transition as easy and seamless as possible. Nearly all of the staff I've interacted with are kind, caring and loving with the residents. It's been one of the hardest times for me as a loved one but I'm grateful to have found Arden Courts and I would definitely recommend them to anyone in need of this care.

My mother had been bouncing around from difference facilities due to her memory and behavioral issues. She suffers from alcoholism and everything that comes with that. Arden courts was willing and able to take her in and work with her physically and mentally. The community focuses on cognitive/memory issues so while she was way too much for other facilities, to them it was status quo.

We would give the categories all a 5. We have been very happy with our choice on where my mother in law is in Lely Palms. Based on the experience we have had so far, we would recommend this community to other families.

Mom’s home is a true oasis. The sprawling one-third acre of green space is a peaceful retreat. I'm continually amazed by the incredible sense of community and kindness here. Everyone is so welcoming, and Mom’s radiant smile is contagious. I am eternally grateful to A Place for Mom for guiding me through the process of finding the perfect memory care facility. Your support was invaluable as I visited various options in the area.

The staff are friendly and know all the names of the people there. Hourly, they go through and locate every person in their hall. My mom is doing well there. They have lots of walking area, inside and out. There is only one person per room. Twin bed, night stand, dresser, and chair. Each room has an a/c, bathroom, and closet.

Arden Courts has a great team and it really shows. Based on the experience we have had so far, we would definitely recommend this community to other families who may need a place for their loved ones.

"This is the place for your loved one!" The caregivers and staff are professional, compassionate, friendly, like family. The treatment of the residents is the BEST! The environment is clean and well maintained. The individual apartments can be decorated to your liking. Activities happen daily and "field trips" are a common occurrence. Lenawee County families are blessed to have such a fine assisted living home available to them.

The loved the live entertainment they had there. We loved walking outside in the garden area. Talking to other families going through the same thing.

My husband died in February and I don't have a recent opinion on these. I will say that they were great at trying to figure out difficult Alzheimer's behaviors. They had an excellent relationship with hospice and they gave him so much dignity for his end of life. If I had to do it over, I would pick them again.

The head administrator, [name removed], has been there over 20 years. [name removed]r was a great help in getting Dad placed, and making him feel like Arden was his new home from the day he arrived. The nursing staff was awesome--caring and thorough. The staff were all great--my dad both trusted and liked them. And [name removed], the activities director, planned things for residents and families in addition to activities to keep residents involved. We could not have chosen a better facility for our dad!

They have been exceptional from start through now, almost two years later. They're not cheap but then, who is. They were great in accommodating her during the transition.
