I've been reading the many positive reviews for Arden Courts here, and we totally agree. Our experience has been wonderful. They are experts in helping people with dementia. What a blessing for my mom. Her quality of life has improved dramatically. Our story is similar to many here... My mom's dementia took a serious turn for the worse a few months ago — she started wandering on her block not sure where she was, was getting easily angered and upset with all of us, wasn't able to take care of her physical needs... We tried for a really long time to have her stay at home, as she wanted, but it just wasn't possible anymore. We had to move quickly to find a place for her. My husband has Altzheimers and had been cared for at home for about 6 years. At one point his caregiver went on vacation and I brought him to Arden Court for respite care. I was very impressed with the warmth and care of the experienced staff and the fact that there was much more stimulation than he had at home. Residents had a daily routine which took them out of their rooms from the time they dressed for the day until they prepared to go to sleep. They dined in a small dining room in their wing (one of four wings/houses) and visited with guests in their living room or in one of the lovely areas around the facility. They went to activities as a large group and even spent some time outside on the beautiful grounds, weather permitting. The wonderful and experienced staff helped whenever they were in need of assistance. When my husband's disease progressed and he was no longer able to speak or walk or be cared for at home, I looked at other facilities and then recontacted Arden Co

I cannot even begin to thank [name removed] enough for all of the help she has given me to help my brother get into Arden Courts, West Orange!! From the moment I explained to her my brother's situation, [name removed] was on it. She saw me through every obstacle, which with her help was no longer an obstacle. I just loved everything about the facility, that I had seen on my tour and absolutely knew this would be the right place for my brother. The facility is immaculate and the employees friendly and helpful. [name removed] went out of her way to help, and from the moment that I spoke with her and walked into the office, I was at ease. My experience with Arden Courts in West Orange has been excellent. The staff is not only professional but is a true team that really works together for their residents. Having had experience with several facilities Arden Courts takes a back seat to no one. Would highly recommend without reservation.

I have found Arden Courts of West Orange to be a great community for people who have been diagnosed with some form of dementia. The staff is well trained in how to work with people affected by this dreaded disease. The community is extremely clean. The staff is professional, and the residents are always well cared for. You can see that they are loved.

had been searching for the right facility for my husband for months. The moment I visited Arden Courts, I knew I had finally found the best place for my husband and his unique needs. It felt like home - warm and cozy. The facility is lovely, clean and well maintained. The layout was designed perfectly for my husband who is a walker - indoors and outdoors. There are plenty of places to sit and chat throughout the entire facility, such as the library, garden and beach to name a few. My husband’s favorite place is the beach. So when I visit, we immediately sit on the bench at the beach. It’s these kinds of touches that make Arden Courts special. The staff is professional, caring and most of all very patient. My mother has been there for about a month and she is calmer and less agitated. She refers to it as her “house”. The staff are friendly and responsive. The process of moving in was made easier with a lot of handholding from [name removed] and [name removed]. Very satisfied.

The dedicated front staff, aides and administrators at Arden Court always have smiles on their faces, a cheerful hello, and an interest in the well-being of the residents. My experience has been that these attentive, conscientious, and compassionate caretakers have immediately addressed my concerns. Special kudos to the Health Department who keeps me updated on medical issues as well as [name removed], Director of Sales, Marketing & Memory Care Advisor and Certified Dementia Practitioner for the patience, enthusiasm and considerateness that she has shown my family. The outside secured area where one can safely walk or sit among the trees and flowers is lovely and also a plus at this memory care home.

Arden Courts in West Orange provides a unique community for its residents. The care givers are top notch, friendly and caring. They learn from the residents and figure out the best care for each individual. My dad hadn't showered in 5 months when we brought him to Arden Cts and within 2 days he was showered, shaved and clean. They are constantly training their care givers and I feel so happy since we moved my dad in. He is finally in a safe facility with a caring staff and is treated wonderfully by each and every person in his new community. I'd recommend Arden Courts to anyone in need of care for a loved one experiencing dementia.

My Mom has advanced Alzheimer’s. We were reluctant to put her in a facility, and most facilities were not appropriate for her. We feel blessed to have found Arden Courts. The loving care and kindness they provide is heartwarming. We could not have possibly cared for my mom on our own, and no other memory care centers we visited compare to Arden - they are terrific. We feel confident that my Mom is in great hands, and are deeply grateful to [names removed] and the wonderful staff.

I found Arden courts quite by accident as I was looking at a “place close by. I called from the front bench and was told to come right in. I knew within a very short time that this was the place for my mom. Everyone from the front desk to the nurses CNA’s and custodial staff are friendly, helpful and concerned I have been walking on air, ever cents we made the decision to place my mom here .

My stepfather who suffers from dementia, was accepted at ProMedica - Linden Village senior living facility in Lebanon, PA, for his long term comfort care. He resided in the STOY half-bath quad room cottage. The smaller private bedroom and pleasant dining area with limited number of patients sitting together helped to reduce the stress and agitation during mealtimes and family member visits. The Executive Director [name removed] and Senior Care Advisor [name removed], who is also a Certified Dementia Practitioner are very professional and proficient at handling the individual assessment and admission processes. They are always very caring, informative, responsive to questions, and friendly. All of the other administrative staff, therapists, and caregivers did an excellent job every day, carefully attending to my stepfather’s physical, medical, hygienic and nutritional mealtime needs. Our family highly recommends this facility for long term care of your love one.

Although it has only been a short while, my experience with Arden Courts has been beyond expectations. It became necessary for me to find memory care for my wife of 53 years and I was filled with sadness and fear that she would be taken care of properly. However, as soon as we visited Arden Courts and interacted with the care team, my fears went away. She has adapted very well with extra care given to her in the early days and is genuinely happy. The staff at Arden Courts were in constant touch with me as my wife transitioned into the home and I received messages from the doctors, nurses and physical therapist describing how things were going. I visit often and the visits are encouraged by the care team as it is very much a collaborative approach with the staff listening to me and working with my wife. I am very relieved that we have found a loving, caring community for my wife and I am finally relaxing knowing she is such capable hands.

My mom and I recently toured Arden Courts and we were thoroughly impressed with what we saw. From the moment we walked in, we felt a warm and welcoming atmosphere that immediately put us at ease. The facility itself is clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully designed to cater to the needs of residents with memory care requirements. The communal areas are bright and cheerful, with plenty of natural light and comfortable seating. We also appreciated the secure outdoor spaces where residents can enjoy fresh air safely. [name removed] was incredibly knowledgeable and took the time to answer all of our questions thoroughly. His patience and understanding made a significant difference in our experience. This was a wonderful experience. The residents were a joy to interact with and the employees were very nice and helpful. Family involvement was also very noticeable, which was heartwarming to see. It's a beautiful building with a large courtyard.

Our experience was very good, [name removed] was loved even towards the end when she became more difficult to manage, I feel that the people at Linden Village went above what was expected. Of course the cost is never easy but when we moved [name removed] into a nursing facility and saw the price double it became apparent that Linden Village was a good value. [name removed] is now Home with her Heavenly Father and her care is 100% covered and 100% joyful, Praise God for his son.

My mother is a current resident and from our first tour, to moving her in, the process was seamless. The Team here is caring, attentive, and truly understands memory care- which was very important to us when deciding on a new residence for my mother. The outdoor space is second to none, and it puts my mother at ease knowing she is not “locked in.” It gives us peace of mind that she has access to the outdoors while also being in a secure environment.

We moved my dad to Arden Courts in late April 2021. He’d previously been at [removed] and that was a nightmare. [removed] was not able to meet his needs (but didn’t want to say that because they are greedy). I was lucky enough to know someone in the elder care field who highly recommended Arden Courts. I have not been disappointed. My dad is well cared for and happy. The staff has well exceeded what I previously experienced at [removed]. I do not worry anymore as I know he’s in great hands.
