The staff is so caring and wonderful. Every time I visit my mom someone on staff was always stopping in to say hello and tell me how she was doing. I felt comfortable knowing she was in good hands. Linda, the business development specialist is extremely professional and has a sympathetic ear. She's a God send.

My grandma needs an adult Sippy Cup. In order for her to receive one they said the family has to request one. I would like for them to request things she needs when they see things happening instead of waiting for the family to request it. I would also like to see her changed more often than what she is.

Well every time my uncle goes and my brother go they are disappointed. They say that she is out of it every time they go to visit her. I am out of state, so I do not get to see her often, but they are all so upset about it. This is what I am hearing. We are all very concerned.

Great small place for dementia patients. But not enough attentive staff for the patients.b we understand there is a high turnover rate for this type of care but a bit more attention is Needed. House caregivers are great - no bad comments on them for the most part. But new staff isn't well trained. Evening care need more attention. Cost co tinually decreasing without consistent are. Getting too expensive - do not get what you pay for! You must be present continually, especially in the evening, if you care about your loved ones. Medication dispensement and care by attendents is dependent on your presence. Cost keeps rising and service not commensurate. Great activity personel . A few great care givers but not be enough to provide proper care. Caregivers great but need help. Management issue not caregivers, Great underpaid caregivers!

Things are going good so far, here at The Memory Center of Richmond, there is many people on staffing I could recognize, so ill just say the staffing is exceptional. Overall satisfied.

I had my loved one here for a short time. It didn't take very long to realize I wasn't comfortable having them here. I felt like I needed to be there, and decided to find another place. It wasn't the best experience, and I don't think I would recommend them.

Very small rooms. No shower in the rooms. Neighborhood was cute. Nice outdoor walking area. Kitchen / dinning area nice. Staff not very friendly as we walked around.

Again, there are three different buildings where residents would need to be transferred for activities appropriate for their abilities. Also, this is a very expensive place. The livingroom was rather dark.

Overall it has been a fairly decent experience with Silverado Naperville. There have been a couple of small issues here and there, but the place is very nice and clean and the people there are super friendly.

We were only here for a very brief time. It was clean and the staff was friendly. We didn't have any concerns with that. It just wasn't a great fit for the needs we had. The one thing that has been a little frustrating is dealing with the financials. We still haven't gotten any of our money back. They seem to be taking a while to settle the money situation.

The facility is nice with residents of various levels. The outdoor path is very nice. I am not sure this is the best choice for my dad as he is not very social and gets easily overwhelmed with a lot of people. It appears to be a nice facility.

Silverado is huge, and it's absolutely gorgeous. They have every amenity you would ever want. However when I was there for the tour, I saw people in the dining room filling out applications, and I felt that was unprofessional. I also felt like they were strong-arming me. I had barely gotten back in my car and they were calling me wanting a decision.

Althea is wonderful. Warm, caring, knowledgable. Arden Courts isn't 'big' enough though.

Silverado-The Woodlands is a beautiful facility but costly. They offer a lot of activities but need more caregivers for the overall needs of their residents.

Things started off very positively with Silverado, however a few recent problems have soured the experience. The facility itself is beautiful, clean, and well kept, and the apartments are very nice looking. They have a lot of great amenities, the food is good, and I love that they have therapy dogs. Recently, however, we've had problems with the administrative and business side of things. It required multiple calls over a long period of time before we finally got the billing and insurance straightened out. A friend of my loved one invited her to go with their family on a trip to the fair, but my loved one was not allowed to go since the Silverado staff could not find my authorization for her to leave, despite me having sent it in multiple times. My loved one has also been struck more than once by another memory care resident, and the facilities response was to tell me that "These things happen", which is not an acceptable response at all.

Great place only one year old, but it was to far even though it was all expressway to get there and the cost was the highest we encountered. That is the first place I felt concerned about the cost.

I knew this community as Arden Courts. There were a couple of the staff that were really good and a few that weren’t. They’re expensive. They give you all these promises in the sales pitch, but that’s not what really happens. They had me hire a private caregivers to help him adjust so their care givers backed off and then he didn’t adjust. The activities weren’t good for my husband.

Arden Courts was definitely a nice place for those with serious dementia issues. Looking for a facility with more lively residents.

We toured this location when we were looking into options for my Mom. It was a nice looking place, and the staff were very friendly, but it just wouldn't have been a good fit for Mom. Mom likes to keep to herself, and this community seemed like one of their main focuses was on getting everyone to interact. They don't allow televisions in the rooms, and there weren't any single rooms available when we looked. I understand the value of that sort of program, but it wasn't something my Mom would have been comfortable with.

This is strictly an Alzheimers community. It was tiny, very small. Essentially all they had was a living room and the clients rooms. If we were just looking at money this place didn't have an admission fee and their price included everything, even the supplies. But it was just way too small.
