The activities are good, but the transportation vehicle that takes the residents out to different places has stopped working. Also the activities are not really varied, they have different classes and opportunities in the day to do things, but the activities are not stimulating there is not much physical movement. Also when it comes to the medical side of things, there is a lack of communication and follow through.

The staff were extremely friendly. The rooms were very tiny, about half the size of some others that we looked into and it was not clean. It looks like they are in the process of renovating the facility, but it was just not the right fit for us.

When we toured they had just changed administrative staff an they were going through renovations as well so it was not organized. We could not get a good feel for the facility, but it seemed like it would be a nice place.

Nice staff, dated community

Think twice, really evaluate the operational structure. My father has special dietary requirements and they were not able to accommodate his needs. They knew in advance what the requirements were and they took him in and then told us they could not help. The facility is very clean and that was never an issue. They made promises that they were not able to keep and I had to move my dad somewhere else.

We did a virtual tour with Arden Courts. It just did not feel right and we did not think it would be the best fit for our loved one.

Nice facility, however, it seemed more focused on memory care than assisted living.

The community is very nice and the rooms are nice. They seem to keep my loved one active. The community is neat and clean and they have activities for the residence to do. The food is pretty good and my loved one seems to like it.

We do know there is a lot of pressure the communities are facing now with covid, and unfortunately we are not able see what is exactly is going on and develop those relationships with the staff members. We do know they are very caring and they look out for their customers, but the communication is lacking a little bit.

My only concern with this facility was medicine distribution. There were some issues with my loved ones' meds. I would recommend this community to others. the rooms were nice and they offered different sizes

My mother was in Arden courts for 7 months. Overall she had a good experience after I complained a few times about certain staff. One aid treated the residents horribly. Once I complained they moved her to a different wing. Many times they were so short staffed I helped with activities and served meAls. I suggested some one in charge work nites and weekends since the care was usually lacking then. So many residents do not have visitors which is so sAd. Thank you to the aids who go above and beyond like [names removed] to name a few Mm

The bedrooms were like little hole in the wall, very small, like a closet.

Staff very knowledgeable, kind and compassionate. Outdoor area is lovely. Patient rooms are really small and come with basic, institutional furniture.

This facility was older and more expensive and did not meet our needs. The layout was wonderful.

I love meeting with [Name removed] . It is such a powerful statement on the facility to have someone working there with personal experience having her husband living there. I loved the intimate feel that Arden Courts has - I feel that the rooms were a little too small for what I want for my mom

My friend is in this community and I'm not impressed. Nurses ignore simple request such as putting on a residents sock. And in the state of MI if someone refuses a service they don't make them, but they have dementia so they should figure out how to wash her hair. It's been 2 1/2 months since it's been washed. I understand it is a difficult situation but they just sit in the T.V. room. They do the minimal work her for the residents.

Silverado is overpriced, understaffed, there's not enough care available, and inconsistence and lack of communication are rampant. It's a beautiful facility, but there just isn't enough care. Most of the staff are very nice, but I have to hunt around for them when I'm there visiting and need help. A family member of ours was there visiting, and found our loved one in filthy pants with blood spattered on his bed and pillow. No one knows what happened. My loved one needs his food cut up very small because of his acid reflex, but no one is ever there to help him with that. Other residents have to wait a very long time for their food. We thought Silverado would be wonderful, but it is far from it.

Nice facility. Felt more like a nursing home setting. Did not like the rooms would rather have actual apartment. Prices were high but I do understand memory patients need/require more assistance.

It has been a tough transition for my wife, and I with her move into this community. She has been in many community's, but I do feel she is receiving the care she needs finally. She is doing well, and they are taking good care of her, and her needs. I don't think I'am ever going to be comfortable with her living in a community, but I do feel she is safe, and in good community.
