Arden Courts has a warm atmosphere and the administrative staff are very responsive to questions or concerns that I may have. They handle my concerns quickly and to my satisfaction. I think [name removed] receives good care. He seems very content. The caregivers in general are very good. Some handle my husband's care much better than others. In general I am very satisfied with Ron's care.

[Name removed] appears happy and well taken care of. We appreciate his being able to live comfortably and with dignity.

Arden Courts of Largo is a wonderful place for a family member with memory issues. I like that it is divided up into 4 themed houses, each having their own kitchen/dining area and living room, which makes it more like a home. The residents that like to walk are able to freely go outside in a secured fenced in area anytime (except the bad weather and nighttime). They provide a variety of daily activities from 9am to 7pm to engages the residents mentally and physically. The caregivers are friendly to residents and their families. They hourly check on the residents where abouts to make sure they are safe.

Love the activities for the residents. Noticed more staff change/turnover recently.

[Name removed], the Family Ambassador, really made me feel like she was concerned about my mother's well-being as well as my father's. I like concept of roommate-pairing & meaningful activity. Nurses are on duty 24/7. The cost is higher than the other memory care community that we saw. They don't take "Family Care" when the money runs out. That would mean moving him again.

I am very pleased with the care my husband receives at this facility. He has been there nine months. The staff is very competent, caring, and loving towards the residents. I would recommend this facility to others.

Great place, but the $225 a day is too much for me when considering 2 weeks. They do respite for as little as 1 day. This is a place to consider for very short respites.

I did not like Silverado, as it did not meet our needs. Mom doesn't need memory care, which is their specialty. All rooms are shared, and she wants her privacy.

Arden Courts is not as new as some of the other communities in my area, but the faculty is clean, the residents are well cared for, and happy. They're not disheveled, and they're free to roam safely throughout the community. They have activities, games, and crafts to keep everyone engaged. I really like the staff here, and the director has also been helping me immensely. I feel reassured that my loved one has everything she needs, that she is happy, clean and well cared for.

A larger unit. The layout with the cottage arrangement is very good with the eating area and rest areas contained within the cottages. The director knew the residents by first name as we walked around. The place was clean, orderly, well organized. Security was very good. Rooms are the right size for a dementia resident.

I toured this community. There’s a nice walking path here that’s quite protected and safe. The facility itself, though, was smaller, older, and didn’t look as nice on the inside. The care sounded excellent but I didn’t think my Mom would be that comfortable living here. I felt like the person that took me on the tour was really knowledgeable about the facility and about dementia in general. Everyone seemed warm, welcoming, and caring. In terms of environment and care, it was nice. But the building itself just felt outdated and not as nice as I hoped it would be. I think they have everything you need and they’re probably the earliest, and best, experts in dementia care. They just weren’t the right place for my Mom.

I was touring this facility in hopes of finding a place for my Father. It’s a cutting-edge community with a beautiful garden outside. They actually have two dining rooms and one of them had tablecloths and looked like a nice restaurant. The community has constant activities going on and I feel like the facility was designed for mental stimulation. The staff always engages the residents and they go on a lot of field trips. I just feel like they lack the personal touch my dad needs. He would get lost because it was a little too big and the ratio of staff to residents wasn’t good. The facility is more like a cruise ship. I don't think they would've noticed the small things like if my Dad needed a shower, if he wasn't drinking water, or if he became incontinent. I would recommend this facility to other families who are looking for an active community.

The facility is very nice. The residents are engaged in activities throughout the day. The facility is extremely clean.

I love that my husband is at this facility because it is strictly memory care. Because it’s memory care, everything is open and he isn’t on lock down to a specific wing. He has the freedom to go anywhere in the facility and he can even go outside. They have an internal courtyard where he can walk around and they even have a small putting green. The staff can bring their kids into work and they get to interact with all of the residents which I think is neat. A lot of people actually bring their pets in and it feels like a small community here. This past weekend they actually had a harvest festival and everyone’s family was there. They had face paintings, activities, music, and they even had fair food. The staff treats my husband very well and they already know both of our names. Everyone is so warm and friendly here. I like that they have a 24 hour nurse on site and they even have a psychiatrist on site. All of the staff wear different color shirts/scrubs depending on what position they are so we know what color to look for when we need a nurse. The facility is always clean and not once have a smelled a pet odor even though a lot of people have their dogs here. When I first moved my husband in, they took all of his clothes, washed them, and ironed his names onto everything so they don’t get mixed up with other peoples. The other thing I like is that anytime I want to have a meal with my husband, I just have to let the staff know so they can prepare my meal and it doesn’t cost me anything. They have coolers in the courtyard to get water and drinks and they have snacks around the facility for people to get at their leisure. When it comes to activities they have a huge calendar of things planned. They have people come in and play the piano, music time, exercise time, memory care, the staff brings their kids in to spend time with the residents, bowling nights, and go to the movies. They even have an in house salon where you can get your hair done or your nails. I would definitely recommend this community. I know I have to a few people already.

My husband is now just starting to settle down after being here a little over a month. The hardest thing for him was when the staff said to give it about a week and not to come that really upset him to the point where he ended up in the hospital for a couple of days but now that I visit every day he has improved. I go at dinnertime and he clears his plate he is eating things that he has never eaten before which is good. The staff is amazing they actually have gotten him into the shower after not doing that for a few months. Everything is always clean. I would recommend this community

Mom is settling in really well at Arden Courts of Livonia. One of the main reasons we chose this community is that it has a large and beautifully landscaped backyard surrounded by a fence. My mom really enjoys the outdoors and there she can do what she enjoys, taking care of the raised flower beds and being outside. The staff is taking good care of her and her care needs. The communication has been good between our family and the staff members. We recently had a care conference which is helpful for me beings I live out of state and my sister lives close by where mom is living now. They said they will continue to keep the lines of communication open. The atmosphere is warm and inviting and they welcome our family when we come and visit. I would recommend this community to others.

I feel comfortable with my mom here, and the staff here are very good with the residents. My mom stays busy and involved with the activities and the food here is excellent. They have a nice courtyard that is secured so I know that she is safe.

We liked this community when we toured it. The community was clean very well maintained. The building is one story so no stairs or elevators to have to deal with The staff was kind and friendly.

I enjoyed visiting this facility and do believe we will be doing business with them. the staff and the energy in the place was beautiful. I felt comfortable in my spirit as I walked through.

This community seemed to have some nice staff when we visited. The community was clean and the grounds are well maintained. This community seemed to offer some nice activities and amenities. I did not like that my loved one would of had to share a room.
