We chose Arden Courts in San Antonio because of the closeness of the facility to my house, the locked in rate, and the friendliness of all of the staff. They are very thoughtful and always looking out for the residents.

Staff is very kind caring , helpful. The residents and staff are wonderful Very happy with the fact that we can have a ring camera in mother's room and pop in and see her talk to her whenever we want this has made her transition go very smooth

My sister, who has had early onset Alzheimer’s for a while, moved to Arden Courts in Farmington in June last year. We have been very pleased with their care and concern for my sister, the staff are mostly very professional, good and kind. The food and general care are good and they organise a lot of varied entertainment for residents. The building is very well designed for someone with dementia who is still active. Friends in the neighborhood who visit more regularly than we can always give us positive reports. One suggestion is that a short newsletter for relations would be helpful so we could be kept updated about staff changes etc.

Had a great experience from the beginning of meeting with [name removed]. She was warm and welcoming. Most importantly, she help put our mind at ease. Mother was content being there. She especially enjoyed the outdoor space. Thank you [name removed]

While its only been a month, I believe overall Arden was the right choice for our mom. Nothing is perfect when you need 100% assistance with day to day life. She seems to be in good spirits and like the rest of us adapting to her new surroundings with the aides and care takers. I believe in the staff to provide us with updates on necessary issues and day to day living. So far we have been notified a few times on minor incidents.

The design and decor is attractive. The "houses" have their own theme so easy for residence to recognize where they live. Rooms are well designed for ease of managing dressing and bathroom needs. Independence is encouraged. Activities are well planned and varied. There are opportunities for socialization. The staff are mostly very helpful and nurses are on top of things. My husband settled in so much better than expected and even enjoys activities and his room. The rent is all inclusive so nor surprise bills. The management are very helpful and accessible.

My mother had been in Assisted Living until recently, when her dementia symptoms worsened. I was told she would need more specialized care and that I needed to find a memory care facility for her. For the next 3 weeks I hired private caregivers, allowing me to tour recommended facilities. I found that Arden Courts was built specifically for patients like my mother, who roamed the halls at night, and often attempted to escape (elope). Arden was much more secure than any other facility I toured, and patients were treated respectfully. They have activities planned daily that promote happiness and a sense of family. There are professionals on the premises and an adequate roster of caregivers to provide peace of mind for your loved one.

The ladies and gentlemen that take care of your loved one are fantastic and do a great job. They are unfortunately understaffed in my opinion. My mom seemed very happy and was singing all the time. The food was cafeteria quality. Not homemade like they said. They do offer a lot of snacks and desserts throughout the day. Coffee creamer was powder, no butter on rolls, stuff like that.

Staff turnover low, walking path outside and energetic feeling.

It is a home atmosphere , the staff is very easy to work with, facility is very clean.

The staff were friendly. It was bright and friendly, and [name removed] the activities director was amazing, and engaged the residents.

Overall, Springhouse is a good place. They do the best they can with sometimes limited staff. The staff and caregivers always respond to my concerns and often go beyond their scope of duty to assist my friend who is a client there. It is always clean and they have numerous daily activities for their clients. I'm glad my friend is a client there and most importantly, she loves it.

Her room and bathroom weren't kept very clean. There were some aids that were great and others that were not very good. Laundry was hit or miss with the aids. Some of the other residents made being there uncomfortable, but I know that can't be helped. Her personal hygiene needed help and I took care of it myself when I was able to. Overall when the right aids, nurses and activity people were working, things were great. The best thing about my mom being at Linden Village was that she was loved by a lot of people, both employees and residents. She didn't want to be there but she loved the staff.

This was my first time using respite care so I don't have anything to compare it to, but I was very happy with the result. The staff is friendly and the facility is great.

Staff genuinely cares about the residents and families by providing personalized support through care, engagement and encouragement. The administrative staff is very friendly and easy to work with, always willing to help with any questions or concerns.

I visit the resident 2 times per week and the staff is always helpful and attentive to the residents needs.

Physical therapy and occupational therapy within Arden have been phenomenal with our Mom's recovery too Offer fresh fruits more often, more variety of entrees, I understand they have to cook for a general population, of various health issues, but seasoning, or salt and pepper, sauces,(bbq, ketchup, mayo,mustard) for residents that can use them, offering different drink choices at meals!

I especially like the physical layout of the facility, which is so unlike the others that I visited. It has common spaces at the center with four "house" wings, each of which has residents' rooms, a dining room, and a living room. The building has windows and doors all around that open to a huge, beautifully landscaped garden space that's totally walled in so that residents can go in and out by themselves, and the windows bring in tons of light. With all-day activities every day, music playing, lots of visiting musicians, and visitors and medical personnel coming and going, it always feels lively and never depressing. There are many activities to which family members are invited (holidays, Super Bowl, etc.), and it has an active support group for family members.

They have been very attentive to [name removed] needs and anytime I call them and ask them to do something. They have usually been there in five minutes such as the other day I checked in on him at 8:30 at night and he was sitting in total darkness for some reason he couldn't get up . I called and asked if they could go see if he was OK and why he was sitting in the dark within two or three minutes there were two people there and got him up, got him changed and got him ready for bed. That was his choice to go to bed at that time. When I have checked in on him to see if he has made meal time , if it's about 10 minutes after someone knocks on his door and tells him it's time for lunch or dinner, etc.. As far as I can tell, he never misses a meal at Auberge. They have a lot of movies , they have a crossword puzzle group. they have a baking group. They have several other things, and it appears that they go and get him for a lot of the activities. There have been a few minor bumps in the road, but they've all been resolved so far. As of this date we are very pleased with the facility that he is in. The reason I gave the administrative staff a four is because in five months they've had three executive directors. The first one was not good , but this last one seems like she's going to do a good job. She's only been there a few weeks Also, the director of medical services, her name is [name removed] has gone far and above . She gets a 5.
