It's a good place and my dad is doing well there. I might add that the employees truly care about the residents and show them a lot of love

I struggle to answer the value for cost. Compared to the previous place in which my spouse was living for under [fee removed], this is worth the [fee removed], or so increase. That said, I feel the staff turnover in aides is high because pay is probably low and the job is taxing every way for caregivers.) Overall, I am very grateful. I would recommend Arden to anyone but strongly encourage management and sales to be more actively present with day-to-day logistics to keep all workers accountable and following promised protocols.

The staff are friendly and there was very little turn over while we were there. Most of the staff have accents though and some of the residents had difficulty understanding them. Communication is not the best at Arden Courts, particularly between shifts. A staff member on one shift didn't have any idea what happened during a previous shift so it was very difficult to get answers to questions. The WiFi is really bad as well so trying to do work while there or even just send texts, look something up, etc. can be difficult. Also, if you use something like an Amazon echo, it has to be reconnected to the internet every 24 hours. They also say they have a 24/7 open door policy but when my father was dying, we got some pushback from admin about staying with him around the clock. Staff were okay with it though and the night shift would even bring us water and snacks. They were very sweet. When my dad died, the staff also performed a nice ceremony.

The staff is attentive and caring. When any concerns is brought to their attention, it is followed up and addressed. I am very pleased and it is good to know my parent is safe.

This is strictly a memory care facility. My mom was more highly functioning and I moved her to an assisted living facility close to my home. It is easier to be close to the facility to visit. I would recommend Arden Courts in Warminster to others looking for memory care for their loved ones.

The facility is well run My mom complains about the food but it seems OK. I don't think we are getting a bargain but the facility is well run and staff is very pleasant and experienced. For an Alzheimer's patient care I would recommend them. They made great progress with our mom and know how to treat and deal with Alzheimer's patients. Like I said the care is not a bargain, but you get what you pay for and mom has made a dramatic turn for the better

I thought they were kind and caring with my mother but when she died her wedding rings were missing from her body.

The ladies in activities are just wonderful and caring people . I feel at ease now that I have seen their hearts and care with all the residents not just my family member. I look forward to coming for my visit now after meeting them. Those ladies not only love my family member they also show their care for me . The food also looks good no complaints from my aunt.

They are doing a good job taking care of my wife's Mother. [name removed]has Alzheimer's and Dementia. This was one of the few sites setup to care for people with those conditions. The only real problem we have had is that[name removed] clothes are missing. We were told that they do the laundry for everyone separately so there was no need to put [name removed]name on her clothes. We have started to put her name on her clothes and other possessions.

Everyone at Arden Court has been extremely supportive and caring with our entire family. The facility is well maintained and clean. All the care givers and staff are so good with my mom. They have taken great care of her.

We would definitely recommend the community to other families. Arden Court is a total Memory Care Center which is a huge plus. In other places that try to do all 3, the Memory Care portion is often forgotten or an afterthought. At Arden Court, everyone is geared to a program that meet the needs of Memory Care patients. The staff, the activities , the physical layout to highlight some items, are all set up to help these patients. One of the nicest features is a walled in backyard area which features a walking path, bird feeding area, pergolas and nice shrubs. Here patients can walk, observe and relax at their own pace. Another feature is the genuine warmth and friendliness from the entire staff. They know most of the residents by first name and they do care about their well being. Highly recommend Arden Courts.

What stood out the most was the cleanliness and friendliness of the staff!

Overall I was very happy with Arden Court in Silver Spring. There were a few questionable issues during the last 2 months of my dad's life and when he passed away, things were majorly mishandled by the nurse on duty, it was a Saturday so staffing was minimal. However, I met with the Administrative Staff regarding this and they were receptive to my concerns. Also, I was told that for whatever reason, the nurse did not follow the protocols for the death of a patient. The Admissions Director, [name removed], who was there at the time is top notch.

The thing is that when I needed to get my mom some help, it was hard finding someone and when you did, they needed to have another person to assist. So you had to find 2 people. I really liked the facility and the grounds were beautiful to walk. I think they need to hire more people and that seems to be a problem at many facilities - finding good people to help the elderly.

What we like the most about Arden Courts is the Friendliness, cleanliness, activities and administrative staff were outstanding. Yes, we would recommend this community to other families based on the experience

The staff is very competent and friendly. They truly care for the residents. Also note that the food is a big area for improvement. The portion size, the menu (lots of starches) and small portions are an issue. I understand that certain foods must be cooked softer for the residents but consideration needs to be made for the residents who do not need soft/overcooked vegetables or who would want a larger portion.

They tend to slightly over sedate for patient comfort however it can be too much times, I would recommend reviewing patient medications with staff occasionally.

I brought my mom here for a respite stay. I have nothing but good things to say about the staff and the building. Everyone was very helpful navigating through this tough time. Mom left due to it being too far from me, but if I were closer, she’d stay. If you want top notch care for a dementia loved one, this is the place!

I am very pleased with the care provided for my dad. He is always clean and well cared for. The staff is friendly and treat the residence with dignity and respect. It is a very well designed facility and our family enjoys visiting there.

I'd give 4 across the board. We've been satisfied and very grateful but there's always room for improvement. The continuity of communication and general awareness between the care team, nursing, admin, and family could be improved. And I'd like to see the dining room cleaned more thoroughly. On the plus side, I do get a positive feeling from most of the staff and I feel the care team is kind and attentive. Of course, we don't know what happens when we're not there.
