The staff is very polite and helpful. A welcoming atmosphere at the facility. There are 2 elevators and 3 floors. They offer good activities for the residents. Maintenance dose a good job with an older building.

The staff is very caring. Its hard to get medical info from nursing. The wing my mom is in smells like urine. The dining rm floor is not clean. Apt size is great. My mom likes the residents and staff. My mom is always clean and well cared for.

My mom only stayed for a respite visit so our exposure was relatively limited but the staff was super friendly and it seemed like they take great effort in making sure everyone is safe and engaged in the activities offered. My mom can't remember anything so I wasn't able to get information about how she liked the food or anything like that but when I picked her up, she was in good spirits and seemed to be enjoying herself. They took as much care to get to know my mom even for a respite stay as they do for their residents and I sincerely appreciated that! I felt like they genuinely cared about her (and me!).

In my experience I believe some staff could be more involved and social with the residents. I would like for water/fluids be monitored to make sure residents are staying hydrated as much as possible.

My person has been at the Auberge for a little over a year now, and we've been through the good, the bad and the ugly here. Since [date removed], I've toured 7 memory care facilities in the central Texas area and for a private room with no cats on the premises, and a place I feel comfortable coming and hanging out everyday, The Auberge at Onion Creek has remained our top contender. This facility is very large which has plenty of pros and cons, but the rooms are spacious. We've been here through 4 executive directors now, including temp/interim directors; this has brought some frustration and uncertainty in turnovers, but some progress has been made in resolving reoccurring issues. Training and knowledge is always a concern when it comes to memory care, and I hope facility staff continues to receive continuous training on approach and care of their residents. I also appreciate the help that I have received from all of the management team on helping obtain additional resources.

It is comfortable and not too fancy like some places. Facility is nice residents look taken care of. Weekends seem pretty short staffed. Rooms are nice. Has daily activities . Although I have noticed that sometimes no activities on weekends. My mom enjoys being able to walk outdoors. It has nice outdoor space. They had cookouts on Fridays during the summer...family was invited to attend.

Arden Courts has been a good place for my husband. The caregivers are very good and get to know the residents well. The activities are good for all levels of dementia. They make an effort to meet everyone’s needs.

Overall [name removed] spent a lot of time with me getting dad admitted, everyone was nice. They are focused on memory care exclusively, which is good. I would recommend it.

Arden Courts is a Gorgeous facility, the staff really seem to care about the residents, and they were all really friendly.

All 4 - 5. Great staff. Clean and safe. Need a few more team members but all was good. Yes, we would recommend this community to other families, depending on the needs of the individual.

Staff have been good. They communicate well with family. My brother has no complaints about quality of meals, though he has stated portions are small. The only other issue I had was with signing admission papers.

I'm having a good experience with them, but they're also small things that I feel need improvement like her floor is not always clean when I come to visit her and she has ants. I go every weekend, and when they did clean, it could be sticky. She's not always getting her teeth brushed, and I don't like that. I find things in her room that don't belong to her, or I'm missing things that do belong to her, and I put her name on everything. I do like the staff a lot, but I have a problem with the amount of rent that is going up as much as it did, and she's only been there since the last of May. I don't want to move her from there for a cheaper place because I like the location and I like the people. Honestly, when I first got there, I gave them a 5 because it was all new and I didn't know what to expect. But with some of the small issues, it dropped them down to a 4 but I still think that that is a good rating. I just hope that I don't have too many other issues that would cause them to drop any lower.

Not happy with staff as the executive director was just left go and we were not made aware. They need to improve on there staff as there is a lot of things that are not being taken care of

They changed to a different company and Gordon foods are much better. The staff is great and will do anything you ask.

I believe it was a good unit, and it was perfect for the care of my brother. It is difficult to place patients with mind disorders. Not every place can take care of them properly. They might say they can, but you've got to question them to prove it. Any mind disorder, although similar the symptoms can be just that far different as well. Finally, we found the arden, and it was the right spot for my brother. They called him [name removed].

My mom hasn't been in other memory care facilites, but her brief stay there was average. Staff was ok, one or two people that were main contacts and very helpful. others were not as available or willing to provide responses and seemed like you were bothering them. No clear answers on her eating or hygiene; couldn't get her TV working because of their new internet (and was caught by surprise). Knew she was safe there, but she was struggling and I think the facility could be more accommodating and engaging.

We were extremely pleased with the care my brother received at Arden Court. Above all, we were so grateful for the personal attention the staff paid to [name removed]. They were kind, patient, attentive and warm-- everything he needed in his condition. We could not have found a better home away from home for [name removed] to spend his final days!!!!!

Positive things include: Some really caring staff. beautiful gardens. beautiful and recently remodeled building. very clean facilities. communications have improved recently, support groups for families. monthly town halls. Delicious meals. Negative things include: A lot of turnover. We are on the 3rd director this year. 3rd head nurse, 3rd activities director, 2nd office manager. I believe due to the office staff turnover, communications have been poor at times, but it is currently good and I like the current team. Even with the turnover, my mom is well cared for. I am able to stop by frequently and after hours, and I am happy with what I see.

My sister in law has been very happy there. Very active socially. Our only complaint is that communication has been challenging. We don't always get our questions and concerns answered without lots of reasking

It’s a hard decision to put a loved one in memory care but it was best decision for my sister. Her sons and I are very pleased with the care she is getting. She gets plenty of attention and there are many activities going on around her. The staff is always pleasant. The rooms are nicely decorated and the general areas cheerful. Love the family barbecue held outside in the good summer weather.
