One year ago i had the very difficult task of moving my bug brother from his beautiful Austin home into memory care. At 65 his dementia had worsened to the point where it was not safe for him to live alone. He was isolated, delusional, angry and would not speak to me. I visited many homes before deciding on The Auberge. Auberge is a beautiful community that specializes in dementia and memory care. They have beautiful gardens with a large outdoor space to walk. Auberge tries to maintain a good quality of life for the residents. Anthony has made many new friends. I’ve settled into a nice routine of speaking with my brother every week. Our conversations have been very enjoyable...as they used to be : ) He is calmer more grounded in reality with very little delusional thinking. I attribute this change to the wonderful community at Auberge. Everyone has been so caring and kind. I believe he feels the love and it has made him happier. My husband has lived at Arden Courts for 3 years. I am very grateful that he has a place to live that he is comfortable with. The things I value most are: the homey atmosphere, the activities provided for the residents and family, the attention and respect he receives from caregivers and office staff, the quality of care is good and the directory staff are attentive to family. Health Care is very good, good is good, cleaning staff good. I am grateful.

Arden Courts at Palm Harbor is a wonderful place for those with memory issues. The love and the care the staff gives their residents s exceptional... from the administrators to the caregivers to the nursing staff to the activities groups, the food prep group and the maintenance staff. They treat the residents with patience, dignity and respect. I highly recommend Arden Courts.

As soon as I visited Arden Courts I liked it. It is clean and comfortable. The staff is pleasant and patient. My loved one has said it many times. There are many activities and visiting always reaffirms my opinion. Now that I’m getting to know the staff, I see that many have worked there for many years and take pride in their work.

The place is really nice and [name removed] was great. They don't have room in Westlake currently, however they worked with the Parma location and were able to get my mom in there today. I'm hoping this is the right fit for her. It feels more like home. Thanks for the recommendation.

Was very impressed with the staff and facility. It seems to offer a well organized plan for care with well trained staff. The residents appeared peaceful and engaged.

Rating is based on a visit. I visited yesterday and was very impressed with [name removed]’s presentation and tour. It is a very open concept facility, both inside and out which is much nicer than most other communities with memory care units. The monthly fees are a bit lower than some others close by. Everyone there suffers from dementia, so it is there specialty.

I feel fortunate to have found such a caring/giving facility and commend the staff for all their efforts... especially [name removed] and [name removed].

Great place for my father. Facility is clean and functional. Staff is professional, and truly enjoy working with the patients. Clean, airy and bright spaces are everywhere along with outside courtyards. My dad enjoyed his 2 years there and I enjoyed having peace of mind that he was being taken care of.

We are new to Arden courts in Parma and we couldn’t be happier! Mom is 86 with some dementia and they are so good with her- as with all the residents! The employees are very dedicated and compassionate! Cleanliness is also a priority at Arden courts- which is good- because my Mom likes everything clean! The family support is also a positive- I highly recommend Arden Courts!

I'm just sitting down to write a note of thanks for the wonderful staff you appear to hire, and the training that is provided to them. Although my mother was at Arden Courts less than a month, your staff treated her as though she had been there 2 years. It seemed like EVERY staff member (new, accompanied by established) came in her room wither before or after mothers passing, to offer comfort or to see what else they could provide. From [name removed] and the early am staff (a newer care mgr actually alerted [name removed] in the wee hours of the am!) that provided the lovely candles, music and ample food, to the ever efficient [name removed], and daytime staff who were fastidious in mothers care and comfort. [Name removed], weeks ago, who isn't even a regular in care, was eager to actually know what made mother tick and who she was in her active life, in order to provide some enjoyment for her in her present state. It was very surprising to see that in a facility, and made a real impression on me, since I have had the opportunity through other friends, to see a number of facilities. Then, of course, there is the inimitable [name removed], who didn't keep her kisses to herself even AFTER mother had passed... I know it is the PEOPLE who make Resident Facilities go around... and it starts at the top. Please, [name removed], and [name removed], just know you are so appreciated and it is my hope that AC/Manorcare administration never forgets the necessity for training (in skills and compassion) even if it cuts in to its bottom line. The staff at Arden Courts of Largo are truly memory care experts... patient, kind, compassionate. They live up to the challenge, providing a safe environment that promotes the best quality of life for all of their residents. They never stop impressing me!

My sister and I toured 6 communities before making the decision to move our mom from Palm View in Cape Coral to Arden Courts in Fort Myers. We were impressed with [name removed] and her staff - particularly the way they interact with Alzheimer's patients. We also like the outside areas which give Mom freedom instead of feeling trapped in a building. It has only been a few weeks since Mom moved in but we are looking forward to a lasting relationship.

Are you about to move your dementia relative to assisted living, but you don't know how you're going to do it? Arden Courts of Kensington is the answer. My mother has lived at ACK for almost three years now, and she is thriving, even with dementia. The staff knew just how to transition her the day I brought her in, and they've grown into being just like family. I'm convinced the best course is ACK, because it is dedicated to memory care. The activities program is superb, with art & music therapy, entertainment, and field trips for those who are able to participate. The monthly bill is less than other top rated homes; and you get a single bill that includes all the amenities, supplies, and on-site medical care. This all-in-one billing helps you budget, with no surprises about costs. Find comfort at ACK for you and your relative with dementia.

I am very happy with my decision to move my Aunt to this facility. I previously had her in a facility that did mostly assisted living, with some memory care. Arden Courts only provides memory care, which appealed to me. The grounds have plenty of room for members to roam around--both in the building and outside on the secured grounds. There are plenty of events and activities for residents. And, the dedication of the staff and the concern they share for the residents is second to none. Unfortunately, I have quite a bit of experience placing family members in care facilities. I am happy I have discovered Arden Courts.

Tour was awesome. [Name removed] greeted us and there was a sign welcoming our family. We spoke in her office first because I had a lot of questions. She answered everyone and really made us feel at ease. Then she gave us a tour. It was beautiful and we got to see one of the rooms which was perfect. Just enough space for everything and there was lots of space to wander with no security concerns. It felt very safe. I thought the pricing was very good for what they offered. We saw the residents, all nicely dressed and engaged in a memory game while we were there. We loved it. Thanks [name removed] for taking the time to answer our millions of questions and seeking out the Nursing Director to answer a question you were not sure of. We left there feeling it was everything and then some.

The staff is very friendly. They are very attentive to my needs and my dad’s needs . The nursing staff seem like they really have a handle on my dad’s health needs and the physical therapy and occupational therapy group work very hard with my dad. My dad is saying that the food is ok. Some meals are very good and some not so good but overall the food is ok. He likes that he can have ice cream whenever her wants. I like that they will do laundry as needed instead of just weekly.
