Based off of the communication I have with my mom, she is very happy here and content. Even during the Covid-19 pandemic, she is still happy to be there. The community is clean and they clean the resident rooms every other week. The dinning room is usually open, but because the community is on lock down, they are bringing food to the residents' rooms. The activities have also been paused but my mother is excited for them to resume as normal. The staff is also great and my mother is very happy with the way the staff interact and communicate with her and the other residents.

It is a smaller place. My aunt was happy there. The have a nurse on staff 24/7. The food was okay. They are able to work with dietary needs. Room sizes are nice, we had a one bedroom with good size bathroom and two closets. Not much outdoor space. You can sit our front and they have a little place out back. The staff was good. Management was pro active.They have a safe in each room for valuables. Overall we liked it and would recommend Brentwood to others.

We looked at three places. Brookdale was the most welcoming. Availability was big factor for us. My brother has a nice room, with nice views. It is usual times with the lock down for Covid -19. We got limited time inside the building. Brookdale was easy to work with and able to work with our timeline.

They are a good place. They are cost effective. The do a good job taking care of the resident and the family. When hospice comes in they do a poor job with communication to the family. The food was good. Layout of community and room sizes are great. We had a good experience up until hospice came in and then at that point they never let me know what was going on with my mom.

My mom really likes living there. She loves her apartment which is on the first floor with a private lenai overlooking the putting greens. There are walking paths, a beautiful pool, and a pond. There is a salon. a library, and a game room in the building. She loves the meals there. There is always fresh fruit, pastries, and coffee, and juice available all day. There is a lunch group that goes out to different restaurants every Wednesday, and a bus that takes the residents to shopping areas and the mall twice a day. I visited eight different communities and many felt depressing, but this community is pretty, active ,vibrant., and fun. The residents are really nice people and the staff work very hard. We are very happy there.

The room sizes are good, I have a nice large unit. I like the layout of the community. I like that I am no longer alone.They have a great activities director. The food is not what I expected. The staff is great. I am stress free now at Elmcroft.

The staff is friendly and compassionate. They are good at their jobs. The administrative team is always accessible and addresses every concern. The medical/nursing staff are diligent and conscientious. Food service is very attentive to the preferences of each resident. Sometimes they have a hard time keeping to the personal care schedule established upon moving in. The activities department offers a nice variety each week and several choices each day.

Great location close enough to the city. They are also in the process of updating a lot of the facility with added memory care soon. My mom really liked it to and that is a huge plus.

I was very impressed with this facility. Personnel were friendly and interacted with residents on a personal basis. Home was clean as were the residents. I would have no second thoughts on having a family member move in here. I rate it four stars only because this is the first facility I have visited so I have no basis of comparison. If I make more visits to other locations then this one could be a five-star rating.

Nice facility, very clean, and residents were very friendly to us. Independent living with residence able to come and go as they please. Special assistance can be added to your plan as needed. The lunch we had there was excellent. Our tour director was very accommodating and we discussed all the finances and assistance programs of the facility. The grounds were very pleasant and surrounded by woods in all directions. The staff is very friendly and accommodating to all patients. The residence appeared to be very happy living there.

Very informative meeting and tour of the facility. [Name removed] explained how they were run and covered just about everything that a person might think about asking. The meals are served restaurant style with waiters coming to table and asking what you would like, salad, main course, & dessert. They do not have security after hours, to get in you must use card key and if you have problems after hours, you have an electronic pager device that when pushed, it will notify someone on management, your point of contact and the EMT who will get to you as soon as possible to see what is wrong. Personally, it makes me feel slightly uncomfortable knowing that minutes of waiting for help to come. Compared to having resident manager living there.

After researching several Assisted Living communities in Pittsburgh that were provided by "A Place for Mom", we ended up selecting Atria South Hills. We were pleased with the atmosphere, the staff, the food, and the price.

The facility was nice, but it was not the right place for my Mom. There was a base price for each apartment, and then they added fees for care. After adding everything that my Mom would need, it was a good bit more expensive than other facilities in the area.

Great place for retired folks. Lots of activities and social outings.

Excellent staff and very good service at all times.

Living quarters are spacious and comfortable. Good place to live.

It is just a good place to live for me, it's quite clean and the food is good most of the time.

I appreciate my home at Regency Residence because we have helpful staff that is open to our complaints and suggestions and try to remedy any problems that might arise. Our apartment is comfortable with a lot of closet space and a kitchen if we desire to fix a meal or snack. Our meals are good and we always have choices in the food we can order for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
