We visited this facility for our father. He is in need of a lot of care and this place seems to be able to deliver. We moved him in today so we will see. The transition went very well and the staff was very welcoming. It is being renovated so it’s a little bit of a mess right now but when it’s complete it will be very nice. We had dinner with him in the dining room and he liked the food very much. The staff in the dining room were very pleasant as well. So far so good.

The director gave us a lovely tour. There were lots of residents up and about looking engaged. All of our questions were answered, and we appreciate the extra information we received regarding whether my mom's health insurance would be accepted by the providers at this facility. The only drawbacks for the facility are the size of the small size of the one-bedroom unit and that the facility is a bit too far from our nearest relative.

The community is nice, way better than where my father is now. The building is all one floor with a rectangle floor plan with two interior atrium. The advertised monthly rates seemed lower than other communities I've looked at. After much talk about my father's dialysis three times per week and writing a check to reserve the room he was not accepted as he has a port and it is against Virginia state regulations for any of their residents to have a port.

Would be nice to have more proactive regular comments about how the person is doing, good or bad.

Facility was very nice. Layout is a little confusing though. It appears they can not provide the level of care my father may require.

it was okish the rooms where ok but the halls and areas looked dirty like the walls need a good paint and the food was not good!

They take the Medicaid waiver for memory care. The staff sometimes doesn't get back to you as quickly as I liked.

We found Manresa to be very serene and pleasant and also slightly more affordable than other assisted living communities we have toured. The fact that they do not accept Medicaid was a deciding factor for us since our loved one will eventually have to rely on Medicaid.

The problem is they are short handed. 1 aide for 10 people each shift. The staff they do have are very good.

Mom enjoys the convenience of meals served in a dining hall where she enjoys socializing with friends her age as well as opportunities to dine in the community, when a group went to The Yearling last month and she truly enjoyed the food and the history. The Yearling is a restaurant named after Marjorie Kinnan Rawlings' novel of the same name

[name removed] was very informative. My only concern right now is the kitchenette and the small size of the refrigerator.

The staff is very caring and there are lots of activities. The facility is VERY clean and decorated for holidays. Concerns we received no orientation and one staff member blames family for lack of communication. Nursing could do a better job of keeping family in the loop and aware of appointments.

They need to work on stability. Nursing director left, they hired a new one in December. And that person has left already Executive director who I think was also new has departed Facility is in great shape i think with leadership stability their responsiveness to issues will improve

My aunt is being very well taken care of by Aspen Ridge. The rooms are clean and the activities are done well for her The food seems very good to her liking It's more affordable than most places

Very caring staff. Friendly residents. Do not care for the buffet type line for meals instead of someone taking orders and bringing it to you. It is difficult for many people to stand in line and to carry their meals to a table. They like 3 meals a day being offered since many only offer 2.

They are much better than they were 9 months ago. They have completely changed their staff and they are so nice and friendly.

The food is just fair. Sometimes the food is cold. The residents have meetings on the food and the residents ask to change it but nothing changes.

The commons space looks nice and welcoming with lots of natural light. My mom is younger than all of the other residents and is more active, we'd like there be more for her to do. The staff have heard our request and are trying to keep her busy more often.

Its a very nice facility. Appears they offer a lot of activities and having their own bus to do offsite trips is a plus. Rooms are adequate size. Price is competitive vs others on the area. We are looking to get on the waitlist for a regular studio.
