Let me start by saying, you will never find any perfect place. No one will take care of your loved one the way you do. But, overall the staff seems pleasant and the care is adequate. The overall appearance of the facility is beautiful, but individual rooms can lack personal hygiene. The pricing of the facility is in range with others, so all in all I would give it a 3.5 out of a five star rating.

Overall it's a nice place and we are starting a family council so that helps families feel like our thoughts count. For our area, it's the best we found for my parents. The staff overall truly love the residents and make us all feel welcome.

Newer on-site leaders are very engaged and are working to make operations even better. Caregivers are kind and always helpful. Room sizes are large and house what the residents need. They work to keep residents out of their rooms most times anyhow for safety and to keep them involved with the community. They have an activities coordinator and they work with families to best know what the residents like to do.

Staff is friendly. Food is very good considering they cook for so many. Faculty is just the right size so it's not intimating for the residents.

I have only been there once to visit so far, staff seems nice but I have to say that their prices seem high and the rooms are small.

The administrative team has years of being in the job there and love what they do consistency is very important. Therapists are great as well. I love that it is a smaller community

Overall. Staff seem to know my mom & care about her, it's a good home for advanced dementia & memory care. But it is less residential-like & more of a hospital-like feel than some homes that have AFH-side & memory care, admin is not great with follow up , activities outside the building have been sparse & nobody followed up with a few things like zoom meetings, the food is believed average, very much like hospital good & much less "home-style" than other homes, I think my mom is safe & they take good care of her, but it's finitely more of a hospital-life atmosphere.

It's great there except they don't have enough staff Also the lobby and dining room are under construction due to flooding from broken pipes. So the beautiful lobby cannot be utilized as it used to bed, as a socialization area. This is no one's fault, just unfortunate. Due to staff shortages and the construction, there are often longer waits for meals and for personal assistance. But overall it's a great place and my stepmom really likes it there! She also loves the therapy staff, the housekeepers and some of the CNA/caregivers. I feel stepmom is so much safer than when in her apt before! Even though I was able to get her in/home companion time increased, she was still unsafe in her apt. the last few months she was there. She lived 25 miles away and was alone overnights. Being close by me at Celebration and having the 24/7 staff right there is a blessing to us both. Plus she has made friends at Celebration and the activities are great for her mental stimulation and for getting out of her room. Also it is so nice that the Dr. comes to see her right there at home.

Overall a great place for family member care. Staff are very personable and caring but sometimes spread a little thin. Communication is great. Staff know residents by name, interests, food likes and dislikes. Facility size leads to family like environment.

Like most - it's smaller, 60 residents so attention and care can be paid. Improvements - additional newspapers to be available to residents. Repave the driveway leading up to the main entrance.

What they could improve on would be better pay for employees. However, we would without hesitation recommend Brookdale Jensen Beach to other families based on the experience we have had.

Love the staff, but they are woefully overworked due to understaffing. In my opinion, but I know it is an industry wide problem and the biggest complaint. With competition in the industry so tough, I am surprised no one has tried, full staffing and better working conditions as a way to improve the bottom line through better occupancy numbers. Especially in Independent, and Assisted living, I would think residents would vote with their feet.

It is a Friendly place, and is family oriented. There are nice size rooms to make it feel like home. They offer service of taking loved ones to appointments, there is internet & good tv service.

There are a few things that come to mind, but I would hope they did something about it by now. Not enough staff on board. Routine things not getting done, like basic housecleaning, changing bed sheets, laundry; taking my mother to meals, showering her. The last 2 were paid items. I eventually cancelled the showering and had my mother's former aid come in twice a week. My mother was not happy with the food. You should know that they only had nurse assistants, and they were not very good. No actual nurses or doctors in the building. The place was nice though. If they corrected the issues above, I would recommend them. Well they do list all the charges upfront in the contract. It's just that as time went on, my mother's needs changed, so that meant more money. After she passed away, they would only refund me once her apartment was totally empty. That was in the contract, but it was a full week until we were able to empty it. I don't have a problem not being reimbursed for all of the rent, but they should have refunded me for all of the "help" charges since she wasn't even alive. But again, it was in the contract....I just don't think it was fair.

The location is good. The facility is clean. People are nice. They try to be as helpful as they can. Room sizes are pretty good. in fact from the places I visited, this was one of the better places regarding room size. Amenities are reasonable. Not much better or worse than other places.

Overall it was a very good experience for our family. One of the things that we appreciated the most was the way the staff respected my aunt and the other residents. The few little issues we had we resolved pretty quickly. My aunt's biggest complaint was the food (isn't it always the food?!) but the few meals I had were bland but fine. The staff knew who my aunt's family even before we introduced ourselves to most of them

Being a young disabled 61yr old,I find the staff friendly helpful + careing.The operations from the Corporation was excellent during the terrible category 5 storm here + continue to surprise me with old staff members that show up.It's fun to have them around,when someone didn't grab them already!I thank God for the help I receive here.?? Thank you ???????????

I would recommend to others. However, staffing is an issue but this seems to be true with this type of facility. Staff are friendly and caring. When we visited Mom felt comfortable. Liked that they had one person controlling meds.

Maybe I would recommend need to see more from staff. Staff is always talking about being under staffed. We picked them because of the size of the facility.

The staff in the infirmary are just so patient and kind to mom. And as for the floor staff they couldn't be nicer. The administration that has been there about a year now are nice, but they have pat answered for many things. The maintenance staff is very on top of things. The few times I have had a problem they have fixed it within a couple of hours.
