The breakfast is a 5 but the other meals would be rated a 4. For the activities they are trying but I think they try to fill the calendar with many listed at activities each day with low attendance. I think less activities but with more to them would have better turnout and be what the older population needs. They are trying though. Communication is good sometimes and not so good others. Their accessible van was out of service and then the shop delayed the repair but they didn't update families, just said it was in the shop. They do update families on specific resident issues and call quickly if medical needs arise. I do go by daily because my dad has a pet but many people do not and other residents seem to be well cared for. Value was a hard question. They raised the price 10% two years in a row which cause some people to move out. Then they had lots of open rooms. They also need to pressure wash the side and fix the gutters.

We are very pleased with the care our mother is receiving at Celebration Villa. The staff are kind and helpful.

We have found the staff to be friendly and helpful. My only concern with Brentwood was that they increased my brother's bill by a substantial amount without any notice. He had not even been there a full year when this happened. They have worked with us to resolve the issue (for now). Other than that, yes, I would recommend it as a potential facility.

We had a rough start adjusting & they seemed to get lost/forgotten by the busy staff. But I stayed an advocate for them to get them the needed attention that they were not always willing to ask for. Most of the staff is very friendly & they work hard. The activities director is amazing. She works to daily interesting activities and special trips/entertainment for them. The kitchen/dining room staff is super friendly & accommodating. Trying to provide a variety of choices even when it's not on the menu. I have not been impressed with the facility director, but she seems to always be "out of the building" and not available to meet with. I did visit many facilities in our area & this was the cleanest with the most attentive staff.

4 stars! Except it is expensive. This is a nice facility with very good staff.

What stood out most is The price is very good. The facility is newer and clean. The only negative thing is that calling them and actually getting someone to answer if almost impossible.

Staff has been mostly attentive. They definitely try and keep people happy and engaged. The nurses have been great. You have to be let in/out by staff and there can be a wait of 5-10 minutes plus before someone is available. Nights and weekends are definitely worse for that.

There is no care at this facility so I did not answer. I think when most of the people check in here, they do not realize that there is no faculty or staff here after 7:30. Most expect that there is someone to talk to or ask a question. And I don't think the staff realizes that these people are old and each has a special problem of their own. But they need to read up on the geriatric group.

The facility is well lit and clean .. very 'home like'.. Staff, for the most part, are friendly there are some that are not too attentive though which is disappointing for what it costs to be there.. the food is ok.. but doesn't sound like much variety

What we like the most about the community is that the staff members know each resident's name including their requests when nonverbal. I've been very impressed. Their medical staff is great

Best thing is the other residents---they are friendly, bright, and engaged in life, unlike the last two residences I was in. Worst thing is lack of healthy food choices. Food is good but doesn't work if you have diabetes or a heart condition.

Good staff, caring, kind. Rooms are spacious. Salon on site by appointment, activities are great. From time to time some residents get a bit aggressive with others where injuries sometimes occur. They seem to be getting a handle on it since they have recently increased staffing. I think as long as they connected by visiting regularly and bring any issues found to the staff, mom or dad will be fine.

I really liked the cleanliness, friendliness, and the quality of care that my mom received while she was there. An improvement would be to provide beds with rails or some sort of cushions to help prevent clients from falling off the bed. That did happen to my mom while she was a resident.

The staff is wonderful, there are not enough activities, and the dining experience is good.

I have challenges with their accounts and billing so it took them a few months to get resolved but other than that I had an overall positive experience.

My biggest concern is Brentwood has stopped pursuing certification for Medicaid & we'll probably need to mom in a year or so. I am especially pleased with the activities director, [name removed] He is top notch! Mom loves everything they do. The staff is friendly and tries to accommodate.

The facility was very nice but the rooms could be bigger. The activities were nice for those who could participate. I didn't like the way they handled our exist after loved one had declined and had hospitalizations.

Very willing to help in any way that they can. We were very happy with [name removed] here at University Pines.

The reality is, it's excellent now, but in the beginning, getting it all set up felt like a nightmare. It was kind of disorganized. Now that everything is set up and they have a new wellness person. It's a little bit easier to manage. I would say, if the people who go there are lucky enough to live nearby to help their loved one get situated and can be there every day for the first month. They'll have a great time. Hopefully their entry plan is more organized now.
