My father has been living in Brookdale Deer Creek for over a year and it has been a wonderful experience. The administrator is very nice as is the director of nursing always supportive, answer my questions and always make themselves available. My dad loves the food and the activity director! I’m glad to see him happy after my mothers passed for he was really depressed and there he found the family there.

I moved in Marion Woods [date removed], have not regretted a day since I moved in. Very Happy !!

I have nothing but high praises for this community. It has been hard to see my loved one due to COVID restrictions. Due to my loved one's medical issues, it is hard to communicate with my loved one. The staff is very polite, respectful, and knowledgeable. I don't think they have had any outbreaks of COVID. They treat the residents well. The community is very clean. The community will do virtual visits with their family.

Poet's Walk community is very nice, very spacious. What stood out to us most was the layout of this community. We would recommend this to a family or friend.

The staff have been extremely accommodating to my mother and our family, community is keep up very nice. Staff helps with skype weekly and overall the communication has been going well.

I can sleep well at night knowing my mother is safe at Venetian Gardens. The staff is always checking in on her and have called in medical staff when they were concerned for her health. I would like to see more activites for mom that take her away from town. Things like theater, concerts, shopping at UTC. Also, as folks age they need a bit more stimulating activities. Maybe chair Zumba!

Been here since June 2020. Not long, but happy. Difficult times in the era of coronavirus, but they are taking good care of us. My unit overlooks the pool - beautiful. Also reasonable prices compared to other places. Great screened-in lanai. Too warm in July to use it much, but come fall, you can find me there. Recommended.

I was a POA for a friend of mine, a lady in her mid to late '80s. She suffered from severe dementia and arthritis. The folks at Aspen Ridge were just great! Two years after she was placed there I had to go to Florida, Part-time and back to Gaylord in the summer to care for my own mother. I left Michigan feeling very secure she was well taken care of. I would recommend Aspen Ridge in Gaylord to anyone who has this difficult decision to be made! They also had great field trips, Fishing, animals come in to visit them, and even a car show! School children, musicians, to name a few more!

They are nice people. It is clean. I would recommend to a friend or neighbor. Food was better than most institutional food. The room sizes were good. My mom was in both Assisted Living and Memory Care. She was able to have her dog, which was nice.

The staff at Elmcroft was very accommodating. They were quick to answer any questions I had. My mom liked the food. The rooms and the community layout seemed good. My mom was only at Elmcroft for a couple of months.

Location is very good. Close to shopping and restaurants, as well as close to our doctors. The residents and staff are all very friendly. Staff always have smile to share. We have had all our meals delivered to our apartment due to Covid-19 concerns. Still, it is tasty. There are many opportunities to keep active. My wife and I are becoming comfortable in our apartment. We think this was a good move for both of us. Would select Desoto Beach Club again.

This facility is clean, neat, staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful. They can’t do enough for you to provide you with comfort and a feeling of family and home. Residents greeting are warm, caring and thoughtful to all. I’ve been here two months and have to say I’ve enjoyed every minute of it.

THE REGENCY RESIDENCE IS A GREAT PLACE FOR FRIENDS AND FAMILY. I BELIEVE "[community removed]" should be removed from your list. everything about it is antiquate to take care of the residents' needs. The food is cold all the time, attitudes are not priority there and I believe they need an Audit of how it is run financially. So, that said, I am very happy where I am. Moved here with a fine Lady who became my Friend while at [community removed]. We live in adjoining apartments. We are like Sisters. Lost mine 3 years ago. Everything seems to be going smoothly. We are in Chicago, my mother in Pensacola so we really rely on the staff there at University Pines to take good care of her. We are very happy so far.

My Father is very happy with the Crossings at Riverview. He has put on a little weight since he is eating better and has company during his meals. He has easy access to physical therapy and doctors most of the time. My only disappointment is the lab shows up during the wee hours of the morning and wakes people up to take blood and the regular doctor doesn't have the most dependable schedule. The overall service and care for the residents is so good that I can live with a doctor that isn't as dependable. This place is spotless and absolutely lovely. It has pleasant decor and is very roomy and is well kept. I like that it isn't very noisy and everyone looks happy and not like they want to leave.

I have been living here for 14 years. During this time I have seen a lot of changes. The Pines has a bright and cheerful environment....feels comfortable...just like home. There are lots of activities and outings that are planned during the year. Just a few weeks ago, we were treated to a baseball game and provided with a free lunch by our sponsors for the day Trinitas Christian School. Great fun. I have been making stuffed bears with donated fabric along with other residents for the past 10 years. We donate these bears to a local children's hospital so that when a child has to go to the hospital, they may be comforted with a new toy. I also play hand bells with a number of other residents and sometimes we go to other retirement homes on the provided transportation and play for them. Some other activities are Bocce Ball and exercise with [name removed]. Oh, and don't forget bingo. If you need to go to a doctor's appointment or some shopping near by, you can arrange it with [name removed], our bus driver. It's a great place to live.

My mother was in this facility for two years and she would still be there if the management hadn’t decided to remove the managers from the premises leaving no security at night. The administration and nurses worked with me to keep my mother there as long as possible and helped in every possible way to find solutions to her deteriorating health issues. I would like to thank the staff for their caring and exemplary kindnesses to my mother and our family. My only wish is that the facility had an assisted living wing. Elmcroft has been the best place for Mom. She is very happy there and the atmosphere is that of a happy family. Staff is very caring and responsive. Thank you for your loving care of our Mom!

I really appreciate on all the help that their staff has given me.[Removed], the health and wellness coordinator is very responsive. When I email the nursing staff, I usually receive a quick response. They always give me updates concerning my loved one’s appointments and anything going on during the day that they feel they should let me know about. In the main office, the resident coordinator and office staff are very helpful and knowledgeable. I feel like they were willing to work with us getting everything coordinated with my loved one’s personal doctor and were very helpful with the transition. The dining experience is top notch. There is a culinary institute in their kitchen so the food is fantastic. When I went to visit my loved one they were nice about me eating with him in the facility. There are lots of options on their menu that changes daily. There are at least 3-4 options for the main entrees and 3 different desserts on the menu each day. They are very good with their cleanliness too. Their main club house area is pretty nice. They provide entertainment, art and craft activities, and musicians come in and plays for the residents. One factor that really helped us decide with this location is the friendliness of the other residents. They love it there and hearing it from their perspective on the facility definitely helped.

Mom is settling in and is enjoying the activities. They are having some help issues in the kitchen so the food is not always the best. The staff are very nice and willing to help. The new administrator is awesome. The community has beautifully kept grounds and the building is well maintained. They have call buttons for the residents. There is no one on site in the evening. I would recommend this community.
