Priority Life Care

I knew when I walked in the door that this would be a place for my Mom. Frank Sinatra was singing in the living room, everyone was smiling. This was it. I toured about six communities and, although each place had its good point, Brandywine Senior Living at Dresher Estates had it all. The decor matched my my Mom's, the staff was friendly and smiling, the residents were smiling. Brandywine is a 5-star community. A place for MY Mom.

WE WERE IMPRESSED WITH THE FACILITIES. BRENDA?, OUR TOUR GUIDE WAS VERY FREINDLY AND KNOWLEDGEABLE. SHE IS A VERY GOOD REPRESENTATIVE OF BRENTWOOD. WE WOULD RATE THIS FACILITY VERY HIGHLY.

Loved it loved it loved it. My loved one became way too impared and needed to move. They went out of their way though to help them, they were just really crabby and mean. Jeff was wonderful, their staff, boy, they are top notch and its a great value for the money. We hired people to take care of my loved one, they had an in house program, but they became too disabled to be there. It is a very beautiful place, very well run, but I felt it had just become too unsafe for my loved one.

I think the care is excellent, but here's the [removed] my father, when he first came in, he was experiencing sundowning; so if you're a family member they really appreciate your willingness to work with them so they can understand your family members. I think if you're not engaged and you just leave the person there it won't work. The staff tries to do everything they can but you have to be willing as a family member to do your part. Chris Peters, who's in charge, really just wanted to the business and he made every effort to make it work for me and my loved one. We did have many frank coversations about how impared my loved one is and I think that Chris is the one that is key to making things work. If they have a concern about a medical thing they will call me until they get ahold of me, the foods great, the kitchen staff's wonderful, it's immaculate and very very nice.

Excellent. If we were going to change facilities. The only negative is there is not a lot of diversity among the residents.

Place was attractive, well maintained. Slight odor in some places. Everyone is mixed together.

I chose it becuse it's close to my house. My dad has been there for four weeks so it might be too soon to rate it. I know they have bingo but he's not into that. He's adjusting pretty well - it was a major transition for him to move 1200 miles and give up his car. The food is good.

They maintain an open line of communication with us when something happens with our loved one. The friendliness of the staff was really great. Heather the coordinator was really friendly and will to work with us. She answered every question and showed us the rooms. The rooms have a true walk in shower where there is no lip at all. They carry a lifeline type device around their necks that is able to call for help by pushing the button when they need it. Overall we have been very impressed with the community and would recommend it to anyone.

It is an older building but very well kept, it used to be a catholic retreat before Atria. The main reason we liked this place above the other is that it has an amazing view of the river. It is actually located on the waterfront. They had a 4 of July BBQ and we all went to spend it with our mom and they were cooking on the lawn which is about 50 yards from the water. We had a great view of the fireworks display. They say some views are worth a million dollars and the view you get of the river from this community is one of them. They have a lot of activities they do with their residents, they take them grocery shopping, they will take them to dinner sometimes, movies, theatre and to church. The best part of all these activities is that it is all included in the price there is no extra fee for it. They would take them to their doctor appointments in town if they have to. Josh and the entire staff are great. They are very friendly and really helpful. They also offer different levels of care as well. We like Atria very much and would recommend it to anyone.

We chose Brentwood because of the cleanliness of the community; the staff is just wonderful and engaging with the residents and visitors. The treat the residents with respect and the residents are not just sitting around. The food is delicious and we absolutely love it. If you have any issues you just bring them up and they are very accommodating and will be helpful in fixing the situation. It seems like the staff really have a passion for their job and what they do. The entire staff is approachable and they keep an open line of communication. If you need to place your loved one in a community, this is place to do it. If we could rate them a 10 we would. It has the feel of a 4 star hotel and feels nothing like an institution. The apartment is really nice and has brand new carpet. The dining is set up like a restaurant rather then a cafeteria. There is a hospital located right across the street and they have RNs working 24/7. We are very please with Brentwood and would absolutely recommend it to anyone in search of a community for their loved one. We just can’t say enough good things about them.

We chose Venetian Gardens because it was close to the community my dad was already living in so it allowed him to be a little more familiar with the area. He really liked the location and ended up liking the community. We are please with the community and would recommend it to anyone.

We chose Independence Court for my mother because the rooms are very spacious and it was very affordable. The admission person was very good; they were very engaging and were not trying to tell me what I wanted to hear but rather just the facts. There is no odor in the community and residents seem active. The entire staff is really friendly and likes to chat with the residents. They make sure they get the residents for dinner and are very helpful. My mom told them she will make her own bed so that is the only part the staff doesn’t clean in her room. They clean her room daily and make sure they are checking on them multiple times a day and 3 times at night. They offer religious activities and they bring different types of religious people from different religions to make sure they are offering something for everyone. The staff has very good longevity with an average of about 5 or 6 years it seems. The director has been here 12 years, nursing director like 10 years and other staff members have been working here like 5 or 6 years. The food was good and they had a nice accessible dining area that is open for breakfast 7:30 am to 10:00 am and they seem to stay open from lunch to dinner from 11:30 am to 6:00 pm with very attentive dinning staff. The grounds are very well kept and the inside is always clean. We are very pleased with our decision and feel like Independence Court is doing a very good job.

We looked at 3 or 4 places & liked Venetian Gardens best. We will be moving in July.

loved this place. but not enough care available for Mom's needs at this time. Denise is a wonderful person who I am greatly appreciate and thank for all her help and genuine concern for me and my family!!!

Very clean, homey,staff very nice. Think my mother would be happy here.

toured with the Director; assessed Mom's level of care as Level 4. inclusive of medication management which I think would be an excellent idea even though Mom wants to continue to do this herself - it would free her from dealing with pill bottles, obtaining her meds from a pharmacy, dropping her pills and losing them etc, etc.

I have already visited this one. It was my first tour, and definitely still one of my favorites. Very beautiful surroundings, friendly people, very professional staff.

Loved, loved the place. This is the place I would love to put my Dad!
