It is a great resource if you have a lot of options. In our case there was just not a lot of options in our area. The people I spoke with were very kind. However, i could have collected the information on my own. If we were in a larger area to have assistance in exploring options I can see how this would be valuable

I gave the 3.5 rating because my husband has been missed being called when my MIL fell, hit her head and went to the hospital. This has happened more than once, more than twice, more than three times. When you call or tell someone we will pick her up for a doc appt on such a day and time - no one ever seems to relay the messages and she is not ready. The people are so very friendly and the place is clean and I would recommend the celebration villa. They are better than most in the area.

We did not have a great experience there too much money for not enough care. I was doing the caring and paying them for the girls to sit on their butts and use their phones. Couldn't wait to get him out of there.

I think some of these are harsh, the first 4 months were not as bad as now....food is really bad and the administration says it will get better, but it doesn't.....the cook just doesn't know how to cook. There is no one here at night, and we are told that 24-7 is not going to happen. We love our apartment, but both the outside and inside are in poor condition. Renovations are supposed to start around [date removed], but we have been told that for months....only time will tell.

The management is really kind and helpful, but the facilities need updating, and there isn't enough staff in the memory care unit.

Clean well staffed but after love one passes they are Cherry ?? picking sanitary products and had my mothers belongings at front door stacked by front door desk not even passed 36 hours whe I distinctly told director wound be moved out in 2 days . REALLY ?

I'm a nurse , so I may be more critical, the in house nursing was not very good , home health nurses were good , aides as everywhere not nearly enough, saw a lot residents heavy care , hoyer lifts , atmosphere was good , clean , meals very good.

The people are very nice. They really try their best to keep all residents happy and engaged.

They do nothing for a person who is ill. What to expect when you are sick and unable to walk care for you or your spouse. Move again. Owner not here contacted by email or phone. Information does not get to them in a timely manner. It is a fine place for couple that are healthy and just to live be cared for house keeping and meals.

Its pretty and quiet. Positive improvement needed on the food department. We do not eat their food.

They really need to take a look at their dining service. It really is poor

Lovely views. The facility offers outings and events pretty regularly. Front office staff is wonderful and helpful! Nurses are helpful. Recent turnovers in administration. Food service is lacking in offerings and is often Short staffed

Staff is welcoming to family needs. The place is clean, but I would ask about medical procedures if there was a fall or other issues, Staff is mostly younger personal. I would ask any questions to the staff/administrator if you have any concerns. The food is mediocre, all rooms are private. Their are activities for the residents.

Staff is wonderful but they are way understaffed. Make sure all possessions are clearly labeled as things disappear daily. They are registered as an assisted living facility so long-term care will only pay half of what they would have paid for a nursing home. The cost for memory care is even greater than nursing home costs the long-term care insurance will only cover up to the level that they are licensed.

I feel communication should be better to residents' families. Care givers do not show respect for residents. The kitchen food quality needs standards and expectations improved. Management expectations either need improved or better communicate to staff. Staffing stability needs improvement. I do want to commend [name removed] for the excellent job he does. He shows respect and concern for all the residents. I am somewhat disappointed with the food service and overall management. I feel the staff is lacking in respect and concern for all the residents. If a higher level of care is needed, I would reserve recommend it to others. I was told the villa was working toward approval for ADA and MEDICAID but have not been informed of any progress.

The overall experience was great in the beginning but as time went on not so much. The place overall is clean but they don't clean the rooms very well. They are friendly if you can get a hold of them. Over all this is just not the place for my Father in law so we are moving him. The cheaper rent is not always the best place.

High turnover of staff, poorly trained staff, and under staffed. Cleanliness and the promises of care to be given. Unfortunately, those promises were not kept after a few months.

More staff, a better online pharmacy (currently Synchrony). They're falling apart. Staff quitting and now more short staffed.

Not really a good fit for my mother. We left to go to another facility because she really required more care. I think Cherry Laurel offers a lot of great activities for older folks that do not need assistance with daily care. They were not able to assist my mother with a fall and were not as easy as Tapestry with mealtime schedules being pretty rigid.

You really need to check on the staff that they are doing what you pay for . Also the billing is advertised as individual but they don't tell you what services they are billing on the bill. Ways to improve the food - More consistency, some times it is good sometimes not . It's hard for me to judge my loved one is a terribly picky eater though.
