Overall I think they do a good job at Benton House of Clermont. The facility itself is excellent, it is a brand new, clean, very nice looking place. However, they've been having some staffing issues recently. There has been a lot of turnover with the kitchen staff and the food has been subpar as a result. They have also been some changes in the facility administration that are causing some issues, but they are working on getting everything settled down. For the most part the other staff are great, and they do a good job looking out for the residents. I've had experience with family members in others facilities, and this is definitely on the nicer end of senior communities.

They do a very good job over at Benton House of Clermont! It's new community, but they've done a great job getting everything up and running, and they took great care of my loved one. The aide staff here are wonderful, they're friendly and very attentive to the needs of the residents.

We toured Benton House. It was large and beautiful like walking into the lobby of a hotel. It was kind of sterile feeling though, and I didn't see people out and about socializing. It didn't have that welcoming homey feel.

Benton House is a very nice, comfortable, friendly facility, and after only a month of our association with Benton House, I am quite happy with our decision. It has a smaller homey atmosphere compared to other similar facilities in the area, and our loved one seems to have adapted very much better. Thank You!

I only had her there a month. I didn't think they cleaned her room. I like that they let her up front. I don't think they gave her the quality of life that she is receiving at Inspired living does. The facility was very small . It just wasn't a good fit for the money

Benton House has a very friendly and homey atmosphere, however we do have some issues. Our loved one had an emergency and the push call button wasn't working so the staff members were not notified. Sometimes it is hard to get a hold of someone so the communication and attention to detail could use some work.

Our family had an in person tour and it was a good experience it was in our top three choices, but the location was a little to far away and the value for cost was just a little to high.

I recommend that someone should look at all local options. They were accommodating to get us in. I feel that they could have done a better job keeping sick residents away from healthy residents. The room sizes and the layout of the community were good. My mom was in the memory care unit. They had an outdoor garden for residents to enjoy.

When touring the community they thought they were not able to handle my dad's care based on his previous community experience. The staff did not want to try to give him shot that would help his behavior. They were not a suitable fit.

When I toured the Benton House, I noticed that it was extremely new! While I was touring, some of the residents told me that things were still coming together there, and they needed more organization since its's so new.

My mom is doing fine, the care is good, the place is clean, they have continuous activities, and help my mom shower and get around. The only issue is with the food. I feel there is not enough to feed the community. The potions are very small, meat is over cooked, and at times no milk. I ate here for lunch and was not happy with my meal. It also takes a long time to get served or things that are needed with meals. The owners are nice people but there needs to be improvements.

Nice clean and well staffed facility but costs are higher than most others visited

Our loved one has lived at this beautiful place for a couple months, the personal care givers are exceptional. The resident to staff ratio is within state requirements but higher then we were told during our tour. The have a bus for outings but they only do outings about once a week, once again not what we expected. We have been surprised at the amount of miscommunications that have happened in the short time that our loved one has been living there, Since they have only been opened a few months we hope they work out these kinks soon.

My mother has been here for about a year and is diagnosed with dementia. The problem is that the facility is thinly staffed, and instead of having time to spend with patients, they are tasked with general housekeeping duties. It is tough to know where to place a loved one based on a 30 minute tour. We also have had difficulty with communication with staff over the phone in coordinating taking my mom for visits and lunch. I feel it it critical for our family to spend as much time with Mom as possible during her declining years, yet the staff make it difficult to arrange.

Our family had an in person tour and the director that we met with just did not give a very good first impression, and we just did not feel welcomed. It seemed like her attention was elsewhere rather then on us during the tour

I feel the community was deceiving about taking my loved one, and then backed out.

It is painful to see staff cleaning & vacuuming while residents need help

The Benton House is a newer community and it is immaculate. The director and the intake nurse are amazing and very helpful. I would like to see more cultural diversity with the staff so the issues with the staff could improve. The kitchen staff would serve burnt food or would not serve food to my mother at all at times. They were very rude and difficult to work with

Inexperienced at dealing with seniors!

The staff here are very rude. This is not a good place for your loved ones.
