Our family had an in person tour and it was a really nice tour experience, the community is clean, but it just came down to the price and was a little to expensive

I love that it is all on one level and relatively small, there are only about 56 apartments. I like that it is smaller because the staff get to know the residents better. It is also very bright and does not feel sad or dark. The location is nestled amongst neighborhoods and a city park is next door so it does not feel so commercial, it feels more homey purely based on where it is located. They are on the more reasonable end out of the places that we looked into. The space is great for the money, she is in a studio deluxe. I do think they could be a little better with their scheduling, they don't really stick to it very well which can be frustrating. I would for sure recommend Benton House of Lenexa to others looking.

If I have to go anywhere I would want to go to this community. My loved one was not here for long at all but I knew by the way that I was treated that this is the place to be. They have a dementia care team that comes in specifically for the residents. They are well trained staff and have the best training. If someone is looking for care I would for sure take a look at this community. I like how this community is set up. They have a lot of rooms that face the courtyard that is outside and the memory care unit also has an outside courtyard.

Everything is pretty good. You do get nickeled and dimed quite a bit for medical costs - doctors, prescriptions, etc. - hidden costs you don't really know about until you start getting the bills. Also the food is kind of boring. But I like the facility. It's clean. Things are generally good aside from the unexpected surprises with the medical care.

I've only been there two times when my loved one first moved in. But we thought it was a very nice place. The staff and residents are friendly. And the residents seem happy. The meal I had there was delicious and of restaurant quality. They served pulled pork, potato casserole, green beans, a yeast roll that was served warm, and then cookies for dessert. The facility looked great to me and very clean. They send me reports every once in a while, including when somebody has Covid and the steps that they're taking for that.

This community is a good value. They have activities like entertainment, work outs, games and more for the participants to do to stay busy.

We chose Benton House of Grayson because of the alignment of value system and also I was able to see how they care for their community. My mother is in the memory care unit and the staff are all very responsive and we are very happy with the quality of care that she is getting. The staff, especially the management staff is great. They know who I am and really personalize things and help you to integrate into the community. It is a lot of money, but I am getting what I am paying for.

The onboarding staff was awesome. They staff overall is very friendly, helpful and right there to assist the family. The community is very welcoming. My loved one seems to enjoy the food. Some of the activities offered at the community include group cognitive activities for the memory care. The staff respond to any questions or concerns right away.

This would be a good place to put a loved one. The staff are friendly here. My loved one loved the food here. The temperature of the community was good for my loved one as well. The housekeeping was good, clean, and no odor of the community. Bingo, coloring, watching movies, jazzercise, arts and crafts, and more are some of the activities offered to the residents.

Benton House is a very nice place, it was our second choice. They let us come in and do an in person tour even during covid which we appreciated. They just did not seem as focused on the individual and what they needed and it was also more expensive.

We love them! We've had a really great experience here. We did not think my dad would handle moving in at all. He was 100% against it. But they have done a really great job at acclimating him. He feels safer, and he loves the food. He can be a very negative type of guy. So we are very impressed with it!

The director is great to work with. My loved one is in memory care and has been able to do a sing a long as well as see other outside entertainment for activities. I am very happy with where my loved one is right now everyone is very caring and goes out of their way to do the best that they can. This is a great community and I have already told my mother in law who is going to look also.

Our loved one was there for respite care and the staff members were so friendly and caring. Our loved one never really took advantage of the activities but the staff were always encouraging her to try which we appreciated.

I thought Benton House of Grayson was very nice. It just was not in a good location for me. But it was a beautiful place. Everybody there was friendly. And it looked like they did a good job.

Benton House is a very clean and nice community, the meals are great our loved one every time we talk to her talks about how much she enjoys them. The activities are excellent and we would recommend to others

We had a great tour with Benton House. The facility is very nice and all of the staff were so accommodating and friendly. We would have been very happy with this facility if we were to have chose it, but we visit our loved one often and the location was just a little far for us.

We are very impressed with the place, right when you walk in it feels like a luxury hotel. The staff are extremely friendly, its just a beautiful place. There are usually 6-7 activities going on each day for the residents so they are always kept very busy. The meals are really good and if they are serving something a resident does not want, they have an entire different menu of a la carte items you can order off of at anytime.

We had an excellent tour with Benton House. What really stuck out to us was the administrative staff, they were just great.

Everything so far has been fantastic. It is a smaller community. It is a homey and family feeling. The staff is open to requests from family and residents. They are organized and efficient in responding quickly to the requests. They have a really good staff here.

We really wanted to go to this community but we could not because my father was ill and could not help. The plans just did not work out and the location was further. Very clean, very nice caring people and the food was tremendous.
