The person who wrote the "food was phenomenal" below was written by former upper management. The food was horrible and never what the menu stated in December 2017. Hopefully by this time (Oct 2018) that problem has been rectified. But the staff is amazing...above and beyond amazing.

When touring the community they thought they were not able to handle my dad's care based on his previous community experience. The staff did not want to try to give him shot that would help his behavior. They were not a suitable fit.

This is a good place if you do not need a lot of assistance - if you have medical issues or if you are in mid or advance stage Alzheimer's stay away. The staff is not qualified - and this place is understaffed. Staff is not trained at all. Overpriced too.

We had a nice tour of this community. Everyone was very kind, and polite, All our questions were answered. The community looked nice, and well maintained..

I did not feel the staff were qualified to care for someone with a medical condition. They did not seem to check on my loved one very often. They did not assist in helping to take care of his personal needs. He lost weight and they did not seem to keep him active while he was living here. One of the caregivers lied to me and said they just checked on him when I found him sick in his room. I could tell they had not been in for a while. We have moved him out of this community due to what I think was a lack of care.

When I toured the Benton House, I noticed that it was extremely new! While I was touring, some of the residents told me that things were still coming together there, and they needed more organization since its's so new.

It is an okay community. They do offer a lot of things for the residents to do. Mom really did not do much. We like that it was close to us. Mom will be moving because they do not have the means to take care of her.

The food is really the best thing about Benton. They serve fresh homemade meals. Once the summer college help went back to school youcould really tell, Benton house was not as clean. The activity director seems to be excellent for those who do not have a memory issues. I had to go to the laundry room and was amazed how dirty it was.

My mom is doing fine, the care is good, the place is clean, they have continuous activities, and help my mom shower and get around. The only issue is with the food. I feel there is not enough to feed the community. The potions are very small, meat is over cooked, and at times no milk. I ate here for lunch and was not happy with my meal. It also takes a long time to get served or things that are needed with meals. The owners are nice people but there needs to be improvements.

Nice clean and well staffed facility but costs are higher than most others visited

The activities at Benton Village of Stockbridge are very good. They usually have something going on every day. We are having some problems right now with the menus. My husband is diabetic and should be on a salt-free diet. We also do not eat pork or fish because of our religion. So we ended up having cold sandwiches with potato chips seven days a week. I do wish they would accommodate our dietary needs and requests better.

Benton Village has just been ok. We haven't had any bad problems, but nothing has run really smoothly, either.

I think overall they do a good job at Benton House of Tiffany Springs. It's a very nice looking community, and they have all sorts of things to offer their residents. They've got a great variety of activities and trips to go on, and Dad really seems to enjoy the food! My only complaint is that they seem understaffed, the people who work here are friendly and professional, but they seem stretched a little thin sometimes.

My loved one has been there for almost a year. The food is cooked in another building and rolled over to the dinning room for my loved one. The food sits in steamers for 30 minutes to 1 hour prior to serving. Therefore everything is over cooked. The portions are too small. Dessert portions are really small. There is no variety. When my loved one asked for more she waits 15 minutes or longer. I have mingled with many residents and the only complaint I hear about is "food" "food" "food". The residents are very unhappy with Benton Manor mostly because of the food. This isn't the cheapest facility, and we are now looking to place our loved one in a new facility. Too bad because the staff is wonderful. The Activity director also needs to shake things up once in a while. All there is, is bingo and ice cream socials on site.

We used Benton Village for a brief respite stay. Overall I think the community did a good job with the services that they provide, unfortunately it just was not a good fit for my loved one. The staff all seemed friendly and attentive, and the facility itself was clean and well kept.

Our loved one has lived at this beautiful place for a couple months, the personal care givers are exceptional. The resident to staff ratio is within state requirements but higher then we were told during our tour. The have a bus for outings but they only do outings about once a week, once again not what we expected. We have been surprised at the amount of miscommunications that have happened in the short time that our loved one has been living there, Since they have only been opened a few months we hope they work out these kinks soon.

Everyone at this community was very friendly and professional, and the facility itself was very clean and nice looking. I toured quite a few when we were looking into options and this was definitely the best one I saw. However the level of care just was not adequate. My loved one had occasional breathing issues, and they did not did not know to handle these situations. I would usually find they had placed him flat on his back in bed, which was actually the worst positions for him to be in.

I toured this location when I was looking for options for my loved one and I was not impressed by what I saw. It didn't seem very clean during my tour, and they just walked into someone's room to show it to me during the tour, which didn't seem very respectful. Also, when I walked in the door there was nobody to there to greet or direct me, I had to seek someone out.

It's complicated. In terms of the room and what was available when my in-laws checked in, I would give it a 1. In terms of some of the services that were provided and their contact with us, I would give it a 5. They were very responsive to our calls. There was a bed, a chair, and a tv. Nothing was set up for them and it was totally not what we were expecting. We spent hours there trying to get them set up. No one was available at that time. All the supervisors and everyone that we has spoken with initially were in some sort of meeting off site. I was not impressed with what we got for what we paid. My in-laws were only there for 10 days for a respite stay.

Nice facility Staff seemed happy, More women than men. Seemed like older people there.
