Very nice. Bright and clean. Residents appeared very happy with Benton Village. $135/day + $6.00/day to give meds to Mom. Bring TV.

All on one level. Kitchenettes, walk-in closets. Very nice common areas - baby grand piano.

Residents seemed to be more active, were out talking to each other. Most of the smaller rooms didn?t have a sink/counter in room, only the bathroom. Two buildings 3 - 11 years old. Very helpful and wanted me to take tour.

Benton House was neat and clean except for one of the rooms that she showed where a person had just moved out. That room had an odor. The room that we would get was small. The entry was attractive as were the assembly rooms; however, it seemed a little small. There were so many infirmed people that I would not want to go there unless I too was infirmed or my husband was. I liked it being close to shopping, and the grounds seemed nice with the lake below.

This is a nice clean community. This community allows pets. The person that took us on tour was helpful. My parents did not like that there was a big long hallway as they did not want to do that much walking.

My mother is extremely happy at The Benton House. If we have ever had a problem, which are few, they are quick to resolve whatever issue it is. I wish that all of the girls who help with my mother were all experienced, and all followed the same protocol in carrying out their duties. I realize, though, in such a facility, with the staff pulled from all directions, this is probably impossible. The ones who do take up time with her, take pride in their job, and do an outstanding job ARE, in themselves, OUTSTANDING! I love that everyone always has a smile on their face, no matter when you visit! All the staff and administration are very friendly, and easy to talk to.

I've had my mother here for a year and saw fantastic care when Jennifer Miranda was the director. She saw the value of each patient and accommodated their individual needs. The following director (H.W.) was very impersonal and corporate minded who stayed in her office a lot. I often saw her assistant stay in their office constantly and not make rounds checking on staff & personnel. Cleanliness is in dire need with constant reminders needed to clean the room, put sheets on the bed, take dirty laundry down, clean the kitchen area, etc. Being wheelchair bound my mother really does need the assistance which is not forthcoming and needs to asked for. Their medicine policy is extremely in dire need of auditing and correction. The company they use (Guardian/Moyes) is inconsistent in billing and delivery and has to be called frequently. The food is fairly good for the clientele. Hopefully the new director will make some sweeping changes and monitor the staff better. Kudos to Mary (RN), Donna (who does it all), and Mary Mckool.

I was mostly pleased with the care my wife received during her stay at Benton House. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Unfortunately my wife had a seizure and injured herself 3 days before her stay was to end. I was notified promptly and she was transported to Newton Medical Center for evaluation and treatment. I plan to use Benton House again for respite care and recommend this facility.

Benton House is a very nice, comfortable, friendly facility, and after only a month of our association with Benton House, I am quite happy with our decision. It has a smaller homey atmosphere compared to other similar facilities in the area, and our loved one seems to have adapted very much better. Thank You!

Good clean and friendly facility.

The woman in the front, Jennifer, is just wonderful. There are, however, a few staff members that are mean to the residents there. Mom is going to be moving out soon for a couple of reasons. For one, she has fortunately gotten better and is able to get out on her own. But then there is also the fact of some of the staff not being as nice as they need to be, and also they are frequently not adequately stocked in some of the basic essentials. Once my mom was given someone elses medication. Fortunately she knew it was not right and did not take it. With the laundry services, she sometimes get someone elses clothes. It's a beautiful beautiful place, but the management needs to step in and really crack down on some of these issues!

Close to home. Seemed comfortable. Knew someone that lived here in the past. The workers are very friendly and caring and the residents seem very happy

The staff was kind and caring. Communication between employees at shift change was poor and unorganized. Husband needed help with showering, but he did not receive it. Meals were mediocre. He could not adjust to living in a memory care environment, but that was not a fault of the facility. He apparently needs more one on one care that provides him a better sense of security.

I only had her there a month. I didn't think they cleaned her room. I like that they let her up front. I don't think they gave her the quality of life that she is receiving at Inspired living does. The facility was very small . It just wasn't a good fit for the money

I would tell them that it's a safe place for a loved one and the staff is friendly and do their best to take care of the residents. No place is absolutely perfect, but I would recommend Benton House to a friend if they asked.

I liked the social settings for them with group rooms as well as dining. Our loved one made friends and that was good. They are so nice, and we really loved and appreciated all the activities. However, they weren't the level of care that we needed. It would have been better to know this during the intake process. We picked this community, because of the availability and proximity to family. We were looking for a facility that had both regular care and memory care facilities.

Our family had an in person tour and we weren't the biggest fan, the hallways were smaller, the community was smaller, and just not as bright open and airy.
