Phoenix Senior Living

The cleanliness and the price and food stood out. It's been a wonderful place for my 99 year old mother in law. Overall Morningside of Vestavia Hills has been a great place. The price was almost $[removed] less than her former Senior Living facility. I would highly recommend it, and have.

There are a lot of activities and involvement of the family. The caregivers are awesome and care so much for the clients. The temp. Staff who fill in are not as well trained and so that is the only time we have to watch to make sure our mother is cared for properly.

My mother is a resident at Bayport of Fort Walton Beach. The staff is very approachable, friendly, and professional. The housekeepers are wonderful! They have such a good attitude. I have found the staff at Bay Port to be willing to discuss my mother any time I am there. When Covid was diagnosed in some of the residents, they quickly got the word out to us along with the procedures they were implementing. The move in was a breeze. We were able to move in all the furniture and belongings while my mother was still in a rehab facility. So when she arrived, they rolled out the red carpet (literally) and made her feel welcome. It took my mother several weeks to settle in. And I think she still may not fully understand that she is there for the rest of her life. But the staff goes out of their way to support her. They even recommended a behavioral health nurse to help mom settle in.

The facilities are nice, and they care about the residents. The business office is not always responsive. We picked this community, because of the size and quality of the apartments for residents.

So far we have been generally pleased with most aspects. Housekeeping is very friendly, non intrusive to my cousins routine (will come back to his room if he requests another time etc and faculty appears clean and well maintained/ Most of staff are outgoing and pleasant Special nod to [name removed] and [name removed]in memory care. There seems to have been a significant evacuation of personnel who do not provide direct personal care recently. This was concerning but level of care does not seem impacted. In the memory unit there does not seem to be enough meaningful diversion, though most residents would not be able to participate. Most staff responds to requests very quickly (I did ask for a cup of coffee in the afternoon for my cousin one day and was told by one of the aides that "we don't have any back here". I asked her to please go to "out there" to get one. For amount of $ paid- a cup of coffee should not be a problem .Food fresh and choice of 2 selections helps. However, when a piece of meat is given it is not cut and a knife is never provided. More activities offered in non locked unit. Cost is high, but inline with other facilities

We have enjoyed the staff and the communication of any need to know details. Most of our inquires have ben addressed promptly and that is something we like the most about the Sunrise at Ivey Ridge community.

I would definitely recommend Morningside of Auburn for people who are looking for an economical solution and enough activities/outings if residents are able. The administrative staff have been wonderful to work with-responsive, caring, understanding, work to resolve issues. Other staff have been generally good with variability that I have come to learn is quite typical. Most of the workers are very helpful. The housekeeping has been good, but sometimes there needs to be some prompting. Nothing major though. My loved one has not been thrilled with food. There is little, if any, variability for breakfast, which is too early for most residents if they try to go to dining room. Many meals tend to be over cooked. But dining staff have been nice. This is a good facility for residents and family members who will be appropriately assertive, respectful and ask for help. The move in process was easy. Paperwork was relatively easy with small understandable bumps in any transition process of this nature.

My loved one is a resident at The Phoenix at Lake Lanier. The food is good. Communication with the family is good. The staff has been somewhat of a revolving door as with most places these days, but overall I do think that they are trying. The only issue that I have is the cost, it's very expensive. Overall, I would recommend this facility to family and friends.

I toured Seasons at Southpoint during my search for a Memory Care facility for my loved one. The cleanliness and friendliness were good. However, I didn't like this facility quite as much as I liked some of the other places that we toured.

We picked this community for our loved one because, of the close proximity to me. There is room for improvement. I expect more for the money. The staff should do better or get paid more for quality care of resident, their well being and their belongings.

Be sure and ask about staff number. I have heard that several staff have been laid off since my loved one moved there and I'm concerned about the staff to resident ratio. The housekeeping seems good. Communication with the family could be better. My loved one says that the food isn't good. I would recommend this facility to others, but with the reservations that I mentioned above.

We picked this community, because iIt was near where my loved ones, condo was and near doctors. We also chose it for the value. Residents are friendly. Activity is moderate. Not real active but not quiet. Today they were playing jeopardy in the lobby. We would recommend it as a very good value for an average facility.

I would recommend The Phoenix at Johnson Ferry to others. Everyone at this facility was polite and thoughtful and helped with everything that we needed upon move in. We loved all of the events and crafts that they had planned for the residents.

My loved one was in a very translational period of her dementia. She had moved from an independent The Park to Sunrise. When she was more able to manage herself in the beginning, Sunrise was a good place for her and they were able to take care of all her needs. As she progressed rapidly I did not feel their memory unit was the best place for the amount of activity and attention that she needed. It was small and my loved one needed a place to walk a lot.

Overall great experience. We picked this community, because it was modern, new, clean, decor was nice and bright, with friendly staff. I would recommend to others.

Our family had a great experience with The Phoenix at James Creek. It is a great place. The staff are fantastic - they are genuine and extremely patient and caring.

Friendly staff, good food service even during Covid, there were daily activities but my family member did not participate, staff was friendly to family members as well as resident, this facility provided diabetic care based on doctors orders. Much better experience than another last cal facility family member had been in.

We are very satisfied with The Neighborhood Assisted living. The staff is very friendly, they take care of everything he needs. And he and his cat are happy. It is a friendly and helpful environment, which I would recommend. I visited many assistant living homes before choosing, and I feel like we made the right choice.

We made a great decision moving to The Phoenix at Braselton. We don't miss the responsibility of managing a home and all the costs that go with it. We sold our home, put the money in a CD at 5 percent interest. That plus the cost of maintaining a house just about makes up the cost of living here - much less than we thought.

We toured The Phoenix at Tucker during our search for an Assisted Living facility for our loved one. This facility had VERY nice common areas. However, the bedroom was way too small of a space. Especially for the price.
