There are several things that standout. The staff make you feel welcome and include your loved one in all activities whether in AL or Memory Care. Kindness abounded in this facility the entire time my mother was at the Retreat. Encouraged family to have dinner with loved one. Would definitely recommend the Retreat!

The concern and warm attention to each resident and their guest is remarkable. I was very impressed by the great meals and flexibility you offer. The facility itself is very clean, well maintained, decorative, great lighting, comfortable areas to talk to friends and family outside and inside . The numerous game areas, on each floor, are so appropriate for medium and small group activities. Additional many scheduled daily group activities with other residents are so imperative for physical and social wellbeing. I know the ability to get transportation upon request is so important for the sake of independence.

I was blown away with all the assistance I received. I was dreading this process at the onset. I was so grateful and thankful for the personal phone calls, I really felt that I was not alone during this process in finding the best place for my mother. I could make the needed decisions for my mother's wellbeing without feeling as if I was making a wrong decision. I thoroughly appreciated the information that was shared. As this was an avenue that I did not know haw to navigate, but with the help I received made the process successful.

We’re very pleased with the care she receives there — 5 stars. My mother-in-law occasionally complains about the food, but that’s really the only issue. The staff has been consistent, with very little turnover, which gives us confidence and peace of mind.

My mother is a resident at Summit Place of Mooresville. She loves living there so far, the staff is friendly caring and meet all her needs.. she loves the other residents and enjoys all the activities that they do. I highly recommend summit place of mooresville.

What I like the most about the community are the friendly residents, the location near my family, efforts to provide support & engaging activities, the facility is kept clean, is well lighted, & dining is accessible at any time.

We used The Phoenix for 2 weeks of respite care while I was out of town. I felt like my husband received good care while I was away. He didn't complain about anything and seemed to enjoy the company of the other residents. The facility was always clean and the staff were kind and friendly.

They made a really tough move much easier. Mom notices that all the staff and managers go the extra mile with a smile and says you can tell that they really like working there. Also, she has made friends and enjoyed the daily activities.

We absolutely LOVE [community removed] (The Neighborhood). Everyone there are just beautiful inside and out! A LOVING team!

Our parent lived at The Retreat @ Lady’s Island for 3+ years and this was an amazing place with a great staff that was very attentive to their residents. Eventually, we needed to relocate our parent to be closer to family but that was a very hard decision to make. The staff is what made that decision so difficult. If you are looking for a great place for an aging parent in the Beaufort, SC area this facility needs to be at the top of your list. The location offers great water views if that is as important to you as it was to us when making a decision on a facility 3 years ago. And if your loved ones are dealing with dementia, the memory care unit is very attentive to the needs of these residents. Five stars all the way!

My father loves the food, the staff have been great to deal with, the facilities is very nice and very clean.

Staff was very pleasant. The lady that greeted me and showed me around had only been there a couple months but was very courteous and well educated about the the facility and the care they provide. Everything was clean, organized, and well maintained. It was heartwarming to see the patients happy and interacting with one another. It was especially impressive to see the group Bible study taking place and to know they offer Church on Sunday. I was impressed with the activities they offer to entertain and interact with the patients and how pleasant and compassionate the staff treated each of them. Also impressed with the amenities they offer for the patients such as beauty salon, physical therapy, in house Dr and nurses, etc. Great location, very convenient.

My grandmother lived here for a few months and while it was unfortunate that she didn't get to remain longer. She was well taken care of while she was a resident. She passed away in a place that was truly her home. We had a great relationship with the staff and some of the other residents. We would recommend this place to anyone looking

My grandmother has lived at The Lafayette for over a year. I think that living there has increased her independence and ability to be more social, as she was living alone in her home before. The Lafayette’s activities and programs are amazing and keep her involved more than ever before. All the other services are superb and I would recommend The Lafayette to others.

The Phoenix At Milton is a top- quality assisted living and memory care facility. Their staff is a caring and dedicated group of associates. The food, daily activities, and services provided were all top quality. Of the three facilities my mother resided in over seven years, the Phoenix At Milton was the best memory care facility we experienced, and it was the least expensive. Win-win! I give the Phoenix At Milton five stars! I highly recommend them.

The Bungalows is a very warm, friendly environment creating a family like atmosphere! The staff & residents are very cordial from morning to night. The nutritional needs are met with well plan meals ….. also special events are thoroughly enjoyed! Family appreciates being invited! It’s also very nice with all the daily activities planned internally for the residents plus the extras that are scheduled from the outside! It’s a very nice home away from home! Thank you!!! Visiting my sister as a resident…I was very impressed with the size of the facility . This alone allows each resident more attention from a well rounded staff. The services offers great encouragement for adjusting from leaving their homes. Nutritious meals are essential for a feeling of well-being Thank you

Very beautiful facility. The staff truly care for the residents. Great activities and on site therapy department. Variety of apartment options and beautiful guest apartments to stay when visiting family.
