I really enjoyed my visit and it is my plan to become a resident within the next 30 to 60 days. I really enjoyed meeting [name removed].

We have been very very pleased. Definitely recommend to others! [name removed] and [name removed] have been amazing!

So far it's been a 5. No complaints whatsoever. We have seen a remarkable recovery ever since she started there. The staff is wonderful. The place is clean. The other residents are a lot of fun. I'd recommend it for sure.

Very nice people and staff. A quite community set off of main street traffic within a city with many nearby conveniences.

I'm leaving my house right now to attend the dementia support group meeting sponsored by The Retreat! They are so intentional about ministering to the needs of not only the consumer that the entire family!

[Name Removed] was outstanding! She was very knowledgeable and answered all of our questions. Everyone was so friendly and inviting.

The environment is clean, the staff is friendly, and they are very accommodating. I would absolutely recommend them to others.

The Pros... everyone in our family feels the staff has been amazing. Mom is very pleased with the food. We are happy with the size of the room for the money. The location is excellent! The Cons... because this is an older facility, signs of age appear here and there. Her fridge was older and did not work so it had to be replaced. The other units have a counter/ microwave holding area that she did not get. There is a slight draft around her air conditioner. But that is about all I can say on the cons side. [name removed] and the crew at the Bungalows have been nothing but amazing to my mother. We are all very happy we could afford this facility with the assistance of patriot angels.

The staff in memory care do a great job & care for those residents! Please make sure they get the recognition

The community manager is a jewel. She is very thorough and clearly loves the residents and staff. She's a credit to the community. The buildings are clean and seem to be well-maintained. No obstructions and the floors are alive and span. Residents and staff are friendly! The rooms in memory care look to be right-sized with a nice bath and shower. Sunny in the front side, which adds to the appeal. Among my top 5 to consider!

I have so much comfort and joy that my dad was a resident at the Neighborhood at Madison. He received loving, compassionate and knowledgeable care during his year and a half stay. I do not have a single negative thought regarding his care. I do have an infinite number of positive thoughts of the family community and love that my dad had in his experience. The staff truly loved him and also drew all of our family into their hearts! Each staff member took the time to develop a relationship with him and the medical care that he had was professional and right on point. I will always recommend The Neighborhood to others!

Everyone there was engaging and friendly. Residents were smiling and active. Thoroughly enjoyed the tour.

We looked at several apartments and decided on a studio that should be a good fit. Plan to move my sister-in-law by end of March 2026. Thanks

There are several things that standout. The staff make you feel welcome and include your loved one in all activities whether in AL or Memory Care. Kindness abounded in this facility the entire time my mother was at the Retreat. Encouraged family to have dinner with loved one. Would definitely recommend the Retreat!

It would be a great place for me but $[removed] above my budget

The concern and warm attention to each resident and their guest is remarkable. I was very impressed by the great meals and flexibility you offer. The facility itself is very clean, well maintained, decorative, great lighting, comfortable areas to talk to friends and family outside and inside . The numerous game areas, on each floor, are so appropriate for medium and small group activities. Additional many scheduled daily group activities with other residents are so imperative for physical and social wellbeing. I know the ability to get transportation upon request is so important for the sake of independence.

I was blown away with all the assistance I received. I was dreading this process at the onset. I was so grateful and thankful for the personal phone calls, I really felt that I was not alone during this process in finding the best place for my mother. I could make the needed decisions for my mother's wellbeing without feeling as if I was making a wrong decision. I thoroughly appreciated the information that was shared. As this was an avenue that I did not know haw to navigate, but with the help I received made the process successful.

We’re very pleased with the care she receives there — 5 stars. My mother-in-law occasionally complains about the food, but that’s really the only issue. The staff has been consistent, with very little turnover, which gives us confidence and peace of mind.
